About the role
Imperial’s Regular Giving and Legacy team is seeking a coordinator for a 12-month fixed term contract. For this role you will need to show experience of working in a fast paced, target-driven environment. What you would be doing
Imperial’s Regular and Mid-Level Giving programme seeks philanthropic support up to £50,000 to advance the work of the University. Primarily, the programme focuses on soliciting support from alumni. The Legacy team raises philanthropic income from alumni and friends who leave the gifts in their will. Our programmes raise funds for a variety of projects across the University including bursaries and scholarships, enhancing the student experience and Faculty level support.
Your responsibilities will be wide-ranging, but the key duties are:
- Act as first contact for all fundraising related queries (by telephone, email, post and in person); liaise across the team to draft and send appropriate responses.
- Collect, collate and manage case studies, including building relationships with students.
- Support the telethon fundraising campaigns, direct marketing fundraising appeals, and managing your own fundraising projects such as emails and social media.
- Support the team with general administrative and office duties such as booking meeting rooms.
- Provide diary management and PA support to the Head of Regular Giving and Legacy Giving.
- Support with the team with budgets including raising PO’s and tracking invoices.

In order to hit the ground running, you will need to possess the following required skills:
- Experience of working in a customer, alumni or donor focused environment
- Outstanding communications (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, at all levels

- A sound understanding of customer relations databases (CRM) to manage customer/donor data.

The Drive Partnership, formed by Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance, is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. We work to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. Together we have developed the Drive Project to address a gap in work with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. We also work to advocate for systems and policy change- to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse.
In July of this year the Home Office announced a £53m investment over the next four years to enable the Drive Project to roll out across England and Wales. To end domestic abuse, we must address the source of the problem – the perpetrator. This funding will make a huge difference to our efforts to support survivors, by holding perpetrators to account, stopping them from causing further harm and giving them the chance to change.
The Drive Head of Programmes will play a central role in maintaining strategic oversight of internal operations, including project planning and risk management across workstreams, and partner coordination across the Drive Partnership. This is a senior leadership position providing operational leadership, staff management, and cross-partner coordination to ensure workstreams within the Drive Partnership function effectively, efficiently and in in alignment with the Drive Partnership’s core mission.

This year, we’ve embarked on introducing a bold, exciting new operating model and structure to improve our services and support to help everyone affected by MS.
We’re making it easier for people who use our services to find and connect to the support they need. And we're looking at ways to make our support more accessible and personalised to meet people’s individual needs, no matter where they are on their MS journey.
We’re creating services that are flexible so that, when someone's circumstance changes, we’ll change too. As demand for our services grows, we’ll always be ready to support everyone who needs our help.
Our new structure and our new ways of working will bring all of these services together under one delivery model launching next year. We're creating a new virtual support hub to bring together everything our community needs to manage their MS or support and care for someone living with MS.
Our Head of Community Services is a key leadership role in our Services and Support directorate, as part of our Services Delivery function.
Our Community Services delivery team includes our Community Support/ Resources services.
Our Head of Community Services will be:
- leading on the delivery and continuous improvement of our Community based services, developing a high-performing and motivated culture within teams.
- providing clear leadership to ensure our community services and support are high quality, impactful and respond directly to the needs of the MS community
- responsible for our community services in our Live Well activity group and drive a one model approach across all of our services and support.
- responsible for the growth in the reach of our community services, ensuring that we increasingly represent the diversity of the entire MS community and decisions are driven by local need.
We’re looking for:
- experience in the delivery of community based services and support, including volunteer led services, events and services delivered by third parties. Including experience in quality assurance, development and meeting key performance indicators and ensuring community input and satisfaction.
- experience and excellent working knowledge of volunteering and volunteer management and leadership
- substantial experience of successfully leading and managing a large and geographically dispersed team of staff and volunteers, embedding change and fostering a high performing culture.
- substantial experience of working in a senior leadership team determining strategic direction, financial planning and monitoring and ensuring successful delivery.

About the role:
Milton House is a 15-bed mixed-gender accommodation service in Islington, supporting adults facing multiple and complex challenges. With a small and dedicated staff team, we provide tailored casework to residents whose needs may include mental or physical health issues, substance use, histories of offending, or support with living skills and wider aspirations. Our aim is to create a safe, welcoming and well-managed environment where people can build stability and take positive steps towards independent living.
You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the service, balancing housing management responsibilities with maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness. Each day you will carry out a thorough clean of the building, including communal areas, bathrooms and offices, helping to create a space where residents and staff feel respected and supported. You will also act as the first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors, support stock control, uphold health and safety compliance, and assist with practical housing management. Alongside this, you will contribute to the wraparound support we provide, helping residents to keep appointments, manage their budgets and develop the skills they need for greater independence.
This is a role where the impact of your work will be felt immediately, not only in the running of Milton House but also in the daily lives of the people we support.
