We are looking to appoint a Family Support Coordinator to support our care teams in delivering a high-quality family support service in the region, working with families and professionals to ensure the families we support have access to the services they need.

Job Title: Support Mentor

Location: Face to face service based in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), the service is a short walk from Ladbroke Grove (Circle and Hammersmith) station. Unfortunately, this service does not have step free access.

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Mentor to join our team based in RBKC to support our residents who have multiple and complex needs which could include mental health, substance use, homelessness, and/or offending backgrounds. You will support in providing our residents with the support needed to help them overcome their personal barriers, and achieve their goals in a person centred approach. You will work within a residential setting, creating a safe and comfortable space which our residents can call their homes during their time within the service. The role includes:

• Supporting residents with daily tasks
• Holding a caseload, conducting key work sessions which are personable to their needs

• Encourage residents to take part in activities and events

With at least five years of Organising experience, you will have first-hand knowledge of running a campaign from beginning to end. Your experience will demonstrate your ability to write a campaign plan, build a team, communicate clearly and deliver against objectives. Management experience is ideal but if your skillset and organising experience demonstrates your ability to manage a small team, then this role may be your next step forward.

In this role you will be designing and managing organising drives/campaigns under the direction of the Head of Organising. This means working with key RCN stakeholders to coordinate all aspects of the assigned organising drives/campaign including strategy, timeline, communication and other aspects needing to be considered.

We’re looking for someone who will lead by example and be out in workplaces, with a small team of organisers, working directly with members. Salary: £85,453 to £102,956 based on experience

The Role

As the Chief People Officer, you will lead the strategic development and operational delivery of the organisation’s people agenda, with responsibility for driving excellence across learning and organisational development, recruitment and shared services, employee relations, equality, diversity and inclusion, as well as involvement and volunteering.

You will play a pivotal role in cultivating a high-performance, values-driven culture that empowers employees, fosters inclusion, and enhances engagement across all levels of the organisation, from frontline care to national campaigning. This role is a key member of that team, working alongside the Deputy Chief Executive, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Finance Officer, and Chief Business Improvement and Technology Officer.

Together, you will shape the organisation’s strategy, culture, and delivery.

About You

We are looking for a Chief People Officer with the ability to shape and execute an integrated people and organisational development strategy that supports both care outcomes and social change. You will have:

• Substantial senior leadership experience in people management, organisational development, and EDI within a care, support, health, or social impact organisation.
• Proven ability to develop and implement people strategies that enhance organisational performance and employee experience.
• Strong track record of leading EDI initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity.
• Experience in organisational development, including change management, learning and development, and performance management.
• Demonstrated success in building and leading multidisciplinary teams across HR, EDI, and organisational development functions.
• Membership of CIPD.

There are currently 29 Emmaus communities in the UK stretching from Glasgow to Dover and Norfolk to South Wales, collectively supporting more than 850 people. About the role

Our team of Regional Communications Officers support Emmaus communities and groups to increase their profile and engage supporters. You will work closely with up to four Emmaus charities to identify their communications needs, plan and deliver work to help achieve their goals.

Who are we looking for?

We require someone with excellent skills and knowledge in communications, public relations and marketing with at  least two years’ experience working in a busy and varied communications role. Although not essential, knowledge and understanding of homelessness and the charity sector would also be an advantage.

Within this hybrid role, you can be based at home or in an Emmaus community. Wherever you are located, maintaining ongoing positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders is vitally important. This role will suit someone located in the South West or London as regular travel (usually at least one community visit per week) will be required to Bristol, Gloucester and London.
