We have a new vacancy for an HR Operations Coordinator in the Strategy, Finance and Operations team, reporting to the Head of People. The person will be supporting HR and People related operational activities by delivering excellent support through strong relationships across the organisation.The salary is £13,780 per year (18.75 paid contractual hours per week). This is £27,560 pro-rated.
Role responsibilities (not an exhaustive list, there may be reasonable changes over time)
Operations – People and General:
- Promptly responding and resolving colleague queries from across the organisation
- Maintaining the BambooHR system to ensure People records are accurate and secure. Training will be provided.
- Arranging bookings for Town Halls / Engagement events, organising the meeting agendas and catering bookings where relevant.
- Updating HR information system Guidance documents, creating new versions, and ensuring managers are fully trained on people management responsibilities.
- Update employment policies with guidance from the Head of People, manage the administration of benefits and recognition awards
- Manage the recruitment administration using the Bamboo software and providing proactive updates to hiring managers.
- Managing the Onboarding and Offboarding processes using the BambooHR system, including the Employment references, conducting Right to Work and DBS checks.
- Preparing and issuing employment contracts, ensuring compliance with employment legislation
- Manage the induction process and arranging induction meetings for new joiners, communicating proactively with hiring managers.
- Coordinate and participate in the virtual phone rota and handle correspondence in a a professional manner.This includes overseeing successful handover between rota team members.
- Supporting the Chief Operations Officer in ensuring the charity meets Health and Safety and legal requirements

Role Description
The Funding and Insights Officer supports the Head of Funding and Partnerships (HFP) in delivering HACT’s fundraising and income generation objectives in line with the organisation’s business strategy. This role focuses on identifying new business and funding opportunities, conducting market, sector and competitor research, and generating actionable insights to support HACT’s marketing, customer engagement, and income generation strategies.
The postholder will play a key role in shaping HACT’s understanding of the external environment, including trends in housing, social impact, and innovation. Reporting to the HFP, they will contribute to fundraising applications to trusts, foundations, and corporates, support the services team in developing compelling and proposals for HACT’s research and consultancy work, and carry out desk-based market research to inform the activities of the marketing and customer teams.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct market, sector and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks relevant to HACT’s programmes and services

The Role
We are looking for a compassionate, non-judgemental and empathetic individual who is experienced at supporting individuals in a Wellbeing role to co-deliver the Wellbeing Conversations Service. The successful candidate will use a blend of reflective listening, coaching-style questions, practical guidance and signposting to help nursing and midwifery professionals explore their stress, develop healthy coping mechanisms and empower them to address personal and work factors which are contributing to their stress.
This position operates as a job-share, and we are looking for someone to join the existing postholder in delivering the role.

Service Delivery:
- Deliver Cavell’s Wellbeing Conversations service including conducting triage calls and delivering virtual Wellbeing sessions ensuring high-quality delivery, consistency, and responsiveness to demand.

Galapagos Conservation Trust (GCT) is looking for a proactive individual with good storytelling skills to produce fundraising applications and reports that inspire. Role Overview and Main Responsibilities
One of the main areas of this role is to improve the Digital Marketing systems of the college. This involves managing multiple projects and supervising other team members within their roles. The postholder will also work alongside the CEO to develop and implement a new marketing strategy to enable ANCC to achieve its vision and mission globally. We are seeking an experienced, strategic and collaborative Head of Communications and External Engagement to join our Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping Martingale’s external profile, strategic partnerships, and policy influence.
As Head of Communications and External Engagement, you will join our growing senior management team, overseeing several critical aspects of Martingale’s work: communications and recruitment; partnerships and fundraising; and policy and advocacy. Objectives of the post
To lead and ensure the smooth operational running of ATLEU, with particular focus on finance, people, information technology and governance and compliance.
To manage ATLEU’s team of operations staff including human resources, operations and projects, finance and external bookkeepers.
To work closely with the Chief Executive to develop systems for implementing and monitoring ATLEU’s strategic plan.
Main Responsibilities
1. Leadership and Strategy
- Participate in strategic and business planning processes and play a leading role, working with the CEO and trustees to develop the strategic plan, ensuring all team members understand it and their role in it.
- Serve as a key member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) contributing to the strategic direction and day to day management of the organisation.
- Develop and lead monitoring and evaluation processes for all activities associated with our strategy, including setting and reviewing annual business plan priorities and targets, communicating progress and highlighting potential areas for development and increased focus. Be a champion for embedding learning into the culture of the organisation and collaborate with consultants and staff to ensure there are effective monitoring learning and evaluation frameworks in place across ATLEU’s projects and services.
- Lead and manage ATLEU’s operations staff, including ATLEU’s Operations and Projects Coordinator, People and Inclusion Manager and Billing Coordinator.
- Lead the development and maintenance of organisational policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- To work closely with the Director of Saltworks to support the operational running of ATLEU’s trading subsidiary Saltworks, through developing the financial and operational infrastructure and management of the organisation.
2. Finance
- Lead ATLEU’s financial planning, management and reporting processes.
- Direct, manage and document ATLEU’s financial policies, systems and controls, ensuring that financial systems are effective and up to date.
- Scrutinise monthly financial data and produce financial reports for the CEO and trustees, including quarterly cashflows
- Prepare ATLEU’s annual operating budgets and financial reports for funders and oversee project budgets.
- Ensure the year-end financial accounts and audit process is completed satisfactorily and delivered on time, ensuring all financial data and other data needed is provided.
- Ensure that accurate records and accounts of monies claimed are held on all cases and liaise with the Head of Legal Practice to ensure compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
- Oversee ATLEU’s bookkeeping and legal aid billing and reporting and ensure all monies, including grant monies and training invoices are claimed and paid promptly.
- Maintain oversight of bookkeepers and auditors, taking responsibility for managing relationships with them
- Manage ATLEU’s banking arrangements, ensuring that they are effective, secure and fit for purpose.
3. Office and Operations
- Work with the Senior Management and Operations teams to ensure that all colleagues have the operational support needed to do their jobs effectively;
- Liaise with building management for both offices, manage any rent negotiations and any future office moves
- Lead on the annual insurance renewal process, provide the required data and lead discussions with brokers to ensure good value for money on all policies;
- Support the Operations and Projects Coordinator to ensure that both ATLEU offices provide a safe and welcoming environment for ATLEU staff, clients and other visitors and that they comply with all appropriate legislation and regulations;
- Work with the Operations & Project Coordinator to maintain the Office Manual and associated policies and ensure that they are up to date and reviewed as appropriate and monitor compliance with those policies.
- Oversee day-to-day operations including premises, equipment, IT systems, ordering supplies, procurement and workflow and archive management and ensure that processes are in place to restore functionality as required.
- To ensure the most effective use of resources and identify areas for cost reduction or cost avoidance along with process and functional improvement, including developing ATLEU’s IT infrastructure to reduce reliance on paper files.
4. Human Resources
- The Head of Operations plays a pivotal role in mentoring and supporting the People and Inclusion Manager across all HR-related matters, including staff wellbeing and EDI activities.
- In the absence of the People & Inclusion Manager or when facing conflicting deadlines, the Head of Operations is expected to actively participate in all HR tasks.
- Support the People & Inclusion Manager with day-to-day HR tasks, processes and systems, responding to queries and problem solving when needed;
- Provide guidance to the Senior Management Team with regular updates on HR related issues as needed;
- Support the People and Inclusion Manager to review, develop and roll out HR policies and provide training to staff where required, ensuring they are legislatively sound, fit with our values and align with our strategic goals.
- Oversee the coordination of the organisation’s volunteer programme, and explore ways to maximise the value both ATLEU and volunteers gain from the programme.
- Model positive, fair and open people leadership and support other managers in their supervisory capacity.
5. Governance and Compliance
- Work with the Chief Executive to continue to strengthen the governance of the charity, ensuring that all aspects of governance adhere to best practices and meet regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that ATLEU complies with the requirements of all relevant regulatory bodies including the Charity Commission and Companies House and ensuring ATLEU is compliant with all compliance relevant to a not for profit legal firm e.g the Legal Aid Agency, Solicitor’s Regulation Authority, Specialist Quality Mark, Immigration Advice Authority and CILEX.
- Manage the Board, AGM and committee meeting calendar, ensuring well-structured agendas and facilitating effective decision-making processes with clear records of these meetings and management of actions arising.
- Develop and implement governance policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and organisational needs.
- Ensure the SMT, Board and other parts of the governance receives comprehensive, timely, and accurate information to support informed decision-making.
- Stay abreast of relevant legislation and governance best practices, implementing changes as necessary.
- Develop and maintain effective systems and frameworks for compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency.
6. Information Technology / Data Protection and Cyber Security
- Support the Operations and Projects Coordinator in ensuring IT systems function appropriately and securely and new systems are developed to improve efficiencies for caseworkers and for audit and research.
- Work with the Head of Legal Practice and Operations and Projects Coordinator on the continued development of and improvements to our legal aid case management system.
- Ensure ATLEU has robust IT and cyber security policies and procedures in place, and oversee their implementation across the organisation.
- Develop and maintain the organisation’s IT and business continuity plan and update it annually.
- Oversee ATLEU’s day-to-day relationships with external IT support, ensuring IT systems function effectively and providing or facilitating staff support;
- Collaborate with external IT support on projects to enhance and modernise ATLEU’s systems, ensuring they remain up-to-date and secure;
- Take overall responsibility for the data protection obligations of the organisation. Oversee the implementation of up-to-date and compliant data protection policies including data retention and destruction, home and remote working, emails and the internet, and ensure that sensitive and financial information is securely stored and confidentiality and privacy is maintained.

The Finance & HR Manager will sit within the Development Team to support the smooth and efficient operation of the charity. This role will assist in managing financial processes and lead on recruitment, HR policies, and people operations — helping to maintain a transparent, inclusive, and positive working environment.
This position is ideal for someone seeking part-time work who holds either a finance assistant qualification or an accountancy qualification. Candidates with a finance assistant background will work closely with the finance department of our parent organisation, Oasis, to manage accounts and financial operations. Those with full accountancy qualifications may take direct ownership of financial oversight.
Finance
· Support the Operations Officer to reconcile transactions, issue invoices, process payments, and file quarterly Gift Aid claims.
· Oversee and manage Xero, ensuring all transactions are accurately coded and financial reporting is transparent and up to date.
· Prepare regular cash flow statements, budgets, and financial position reports for the Senior Leadership Team to support data-driven decision-making.
· Actively monitor income and expenditure, making recommendations to ensure financial sustainability and strategic use of resources.

Human Resources & Data Protection

· Coordinate quarterly team surveys, analyse feedback, and make recommendations to strengthen workplace culture and wellbeing.
· Support the Executive Team in delivering STOP THE TRAFFIK’s people strategy, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing working environment.
· Serve as the organisation’s Data Protection Officer (DPO), getting pro-bono advice from our network where needed for support.
Pro-bono Legal Coordination
· Manage network of pro-bono legal advisors to oversee all organisational contracts with partners, ensuring they align with key terms agreed with Senior Leadership and our Risk Committee, supported by the Director of Development.
· Responsible for managing our internal legal sign-off process, and ensuring all legal requests are managed in an accurate and timely manner.

About the role
This new Lead role sits within the Design Council Programmes Team led by the Chief Design Officer and has responsibility for leading the development and embedding of our funding strategy. Coordinating income generation of ~£2m per year including securing £250k of philanthropic (T&Fs, corporates, other sources) funding in the first year, the role also has the objective of growing overall revenue but in line with the refreshed Design Council business and funding model to ensure it remains strategically aligned and sustainable.
Reporting to the Head of Programmes with a dotted line to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for oversight of the overall revenue pipeline, working across the organisation to have full line of sight of funding opportunities and partnerships and ensure a consistent approach to how we generate revenue.
You will drive an effective stakeholder engagement plan, working closely with the Communications team to ensure campaigns and events help build and maintain a strong network of funder relationships and strengthening our profile as a charity.
The scope covers directly securing philanthropic/corporate partner funding as well as supporting wider commercial income generation and also ensuring they are all anchored in our Theory of Change and enable long term income growth.
Our core programmes of work support delivery of our Theory of Change encompassing Skills, Capability, Innovation and Research. We are looking to create and grow funding partnerships through a variety of activities including events, learning and training and world leading research, and the Fundraising and Partnerships Lead will play a critical role in developing funding relationships, securing them, both directly and also supporting the wider team.
Key Responsibilties
1. New Funding Generation and Planning

Lead the identification of new revenue opportunities across the range of Design Council propositions with the objective of growing total revenue base, in line with the Design Council funding strategy and business model

Who we're looking for
We are looking for a driven, self-motivated and hands-on individual, with a track record of securing funding from a range of sources and growing revenue in a national not-for-profit or commercial organisation.
You will be ambitious for Design Council’s aspiration of reaching £8m revenue by 2031 and be able to demonstrate commercial acumen and experience of developing revenue generation strategies and converting opportunities into secured income.
You will also know that fundraising is challenging and competitive, so you will be resilient and experienced in building the relationships that can secures six-figure+ multi-year income. Job Purpose
· To manage the delivery of Young Marketeers in Knowsley in five primary schools
Background to School Food Matters
At School Food Matters we believe that school food can unlock a happier, healthier, more sustainable future for every child. We want a school food system that delivers for all children, so they can enjoy nutritious, delicious and sustainable school food and leave school with an informed and positive relationship with food. To achieve this, we campaign for a better school food system, bringing the voices of children, parents, and teachers to government policy, and deliver fully funded food education programmes in schools across the country.
Young Marketeers
This much-loved programme was started in London in 2012. It is now running in 16 cities across England. We have been commissioned to deliver the programme in Knowsley by Knowsley Public Health. The programme provides hands-on opportunities for children from primary schools to grow fruit and veg from seed to sell at their local market. Young Marketeers is also a platform for School Food Matters to promote food education to schools and communities as a way to support children to live happy and healthy lives. Children learn the art of growing veg from seed, and market traders will share their secrets on how to create a winning market stall. Primary schools will be visited by our gardener in March/April and then again in May/June and receive further tips on how to ensure a bumper crop. Then in July, they head to the market to sell their produce, and to meet the Mayor!
Key Tasks include:
· Assist with recruitment of five schools to take part in Young Marketeers
· Build and maintain relationships with teachers, teaching assistants and senior leaders to ensure the smooth running of the project
· Build and support relationships with contacts in partner organisations

o One assembly in each school
o Two food growing sessions in each school
o One market trader training session in each school
