Food Project Coordinator
This role will primarily coordinate our growing food club project, Bristol Goods, but will also provide support for our other services that utilize food to engage people in support and build community connections.
Caring in Bristol has a legacy of food-based projects; from our inception as Caring at Christmas, through to Cheers Drive, our pandemic response service. We have a fantastic network in the city’s food and hospitality sector which enables us to work in creative ways to alleviate housing insecurity.
As Food Project Coordinator, you will play a central role in organising our food club operations and ensuring Caring in Bristol upholds food safety standards. A significant part of the role will be centred around building relationships with our food club members and the volunteers that help deliver the service.
The postholder will also have the opportunity to contribute to other food-centred activity within the charity, including food provided to our young people’s services and Caring at Christmas.

Food logistics and coordination
Support the Senior Project Coordinator to oversee the sourcing, supply and distribution of food, ensuring a consistent and balanced provision of fresh and ambient products for service users each week. This includes driving the Caring in Bristol van (full UK driving licence essential).
Coordinate and monitor the stock of food, ensuring there’s always sufficient stock levels to cover all the food clubs
Coordinate the weekly Fareshare delivery and sorting/preparation of food in line with organisational procedures
Support the Bristol Goods Team to uphold food safety management within the organisation, ensuring our warehouse space is adequately clean and organised at all times

About the role
We seek a highly organised and proactive Events Manager to join our team, helping to deliver a range of high-profile events that engage key stakeholders and promote our strategic objectives. Lead and Direct Income Generation and Future Fundraising for Swindon Food Collective
The role has key responsibility for all income generation activities at Swindon Food Collective. This includes high-profile networking with local businesses, corporations and the public sector, processing grant applications, growing and managing key corporate partnerships and significantly increasing fundraising activities. This is a senior role and the role-holder will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Role Purpose
To design, deliver and secure a multi-stream recurring income generation strategy, manage charity-wide philanthropy, and strengthen long-term financial resilience.

Strategy and planning
• Develop and deliver a 12–24-month income generation plan aligned to SFC priorities and the Trustee Strategy & Fundraising Committee.

As one of the founding funders of A Bed Every Night, we have been at the forefront of efforts to reduce rough sleeping in the city region. The funds we have raised have gone to frontline services offering a warm welcome, hot food, safe shelter and wrap-around support to help move people into more stable accommodation. Lightbox Gallery & Museum is entering an ambitious new phase as we prepare for our 20th anniversary in 2027. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced and initiative-taking fundraiser to help shape the organisation’s future by developing new income streams and leading our anniversary campaign, Lightbox20.
You will take ownership of the campaign activity across the organisation - developing strategy, building relationships with donors and partners, and delivering income to agreed targets. At the same time, you will manage the practical detail that underpins successful fundraising, including stewardship and our CRM system.
Key priorities are developing and delivering the Big Give campaign this year, capital fundraising for the garden and our 20th anniversary Lightbox 20.
This role will suit someone who thrives in a small organisation, understands the unique challenges and opportunity this brings and who is self-motivated to build an ambitious campaign from the ground up. The successful appointee will combine strategic thinking with direct delivery, collaborating closely with the Director and Trustees to secure the next chapter of Lightbox Gallery’s success.

About the role
The UK’s international trade policy is at a crossroads: beginning to move on from the relentless focus on Free Trade Agreements which primarily exist to serve corporate interests, but yet to embrace a vision for trade which prioritises equality, environmental sustainability and human rights.
The Advocacy Manager’s role is to build political support for the Trade Justice Movement’s policy priorities. They will represent TJM in high-level settings including parliamentary meetings, party conferences and on government stakeholder groups. They will build strong relationships with parliamentarians, advisors, committee staff and civil servants. They will also play a key role in researching and agreeing policy positions in collaboration with civil society allies.
TJM is a small team and the Advocacy Manager will have a flexible and collaborative approach, responding to political events, seizing opportunities to influence and pitching in with broader organisational priorities.
The Advocacy Manager will be responsible for setting TJM’s political influencing strategy, with support from the Director, and will be able to plan and deliver their work independently.
About the organisation
TJM is a UK-based coalition of 45 charities, trade unions and faith groups working for a fairer, greener world by supporting international trade policies which prioritise people and planet.
TJM is composed of four staff members (Director, Advocacy Manager, Research Manager, Senior Communications Adviser), all of whom work closely with allies both within and outside our membership.
Criteria for a successful applicant
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:
Excellent communication skills, including written communication and interpersonal networking, relationship-building and influencing skills
Experience of producing high-quality briefings and developing policy positions for political audiences
Experience working with political stakeholders such as MPs, parliamentary committees, or other parliamentary actors to build support for a progressive agenda
Deep understanding of policy-making processes in the UK, both within parliament and central government departments
Demonstrable ability to build strong expertise in complex policy areas
Excellent analytical skills and political awareness
Experience of organising and running political or civil society events
Strong ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, managing own work, prioritising and meeting deadlines
A successful candidate may be able to demonstrate the following desirable criteria:
Experience of working within a network organisation and/or in collaboration with civil society groups
Knowledge of trade justice issues, international development, climate and environmental policy or another similar policy area
Experience working on fundraising bids to charitable trusts and foundations
Digital communications skills
