About the role:
The Philanthropy & Events Executive will support our Philanthropy Lead and Managing Director to effectively manage existing match funding partner (“Champion”) relationships, and help to develop new Champion relationships. You will support with Champion onboarding, stewarding and reporting as well as research, prospecting, and business development activities. You will also manage events for high-value supporters, and play a key role in helping us grow the number of Champions through our events, such as our annual Big Give Christmas Party and Philanthropy Lunches.
About you:
You will be an organised self-starter with exceptional personal and communication skills. As a “tech first” organisation, we’re looking for someone with exceptional digital skills, experience in data administration and management and able to collate, segment and analyse donor information. You will also have experience with CRM systems (experience using Salesforce would be advantageous) and processes to help manage the journey of our match funding partners (“Champions “). An understanding of the UK charity and philanthropy sector would be helpful.
How we work:
We're currently hybrid working and are based in our Covent Garden office 1-2 days per week, where we're hosted by Reed (UK's #1 Job Site). This means you will get all the benefits of working in a small non-profit team with a start-up mindset whilst being supported by a larger corporation.
What you will do:
- Manage the effective delivery of all Big Give events, focused on supporting our existing Champion relationships as well as growing our network of Champion funders
- Provide administrative and communications support to help support new and existing Champion partnerships
- Conduct research into potential new Champion partners
- Help develop systems and processes to effectively manage Champion relationships
- Communicate directly with current and potential Champion partners
- Update records of Champion funders in Salesforce
- Support with Champion reporting
- Ad-hoc tasks to support Champion development

We are looking for a motivated, creative, and organised Engagement and Communications Officer to join our team. The Role
Reporting to the Social Media Manager, the role works closely with colleagues across the charity including fundraising, health & social care, and retail. Our social channels play a key role in providing support to people who are struggling with grief, as well as being an important engagement tool with our supporters. The role will be responsible for the content creation and planning across our accounts, including content around grief and bereavement, as well as taking ownership of key paid social campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
· Content planning for our local channels and leading on social media activities for fundraising events, PR campaigns and other projects.
· Creating content with a story-led approach including copywriting and developing visual assets for our national and retail accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn and TikTok.
· Manage the response matrix for our social media moderation and escalation processes in line with organisational safeguarding procedures.
· Moderation cover for the Online Community and deputise for the Social Media Manager in meetings/project groups. Supervise the Social Media Assistant through proofreading, monitoring and delegating tasks.
· Gather data and insights to develop reports with actionable recommendations.
· Plan and implement paid social campaigns for fundraising events throughout the year.
· Provide training and support for colleagues in social media best practices.

· Experience in planning and coordinating social media content for different platforms
· Highly proficient digital copywriter with excellent attention to detail
· Intermediate level of Photoshop or Canva skills

About the role
We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Bid Manager who can actively craft commercial tender submissions and work with the team to ensure we submit high-quality, winning bids within UK government procurement rules.

About you

As our Head of Brand and Health Engagement, you’ll be responsible for managing a team to produce sector-leading, highly effective, marketing campaigns and customer journeys, inspiring more people to engage with and support the British Heart Foundation (BHF) and its lifesaving work.
Every penny counts so each piece of activity needs to achieve demonstrable results, driving active support and engagement with the BHF aligned with our brand & marketing strategies. You’ll champion effectiveness within your own team and take a lead role in the development of integrated marketing communications.
Working with peers, this role will ensure the integration of activity across all the BHF’s marketing communications and challenge agencies and in-house teams to develop the most effective approach.
Crucial to making sure activity is effective and delivers against targets will be the successful leadership of the Brand and Health Engagement team – a team which will need to work at pace and with clear direction.
As part of the BHF leadership team you will identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvements in ways of working.
Working arrangements
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, covering an internal secondment.
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London Office.
At the BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least two days each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
In addition, the role involves regular attendance at the offices of our London-based agency partners.

About you
As our perfect candidate, you bring significant marketing communications experience including briefing creative and media agencies for the development/delivery of multi-channel through the line campaigns (TV, digital, print, and social content) and end to end customer journey planning (online and offline).
A strategic and self-motivated individual who can be both innovative and creative, you have experience of tracking campaign results, ROI modelling, and managing significant creative and media budgets.
Your knowledge and expertise will span brand strategy, agency, and campaign management. The successful candidate will work with the Head of the Gambling Action Lab (GAL) and the Senior Research Officer to bring together a handful of representatives from financial services firms to explore ways to reduce gambling-related financial harms. They will build and maintain stakeholder relationships and play a key role in facilitating group discussions with financial services representatives. This exciting role will also involve driving and promoting the work and visibility of the GAL, and planning and delivering a programme of events to promote our work.
