Gulab Sorkh Foundation (GSF) is an independent charity supporting former members of the Afghan security forces and their families, who have come to the UK under the Government’s Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy (ARAP). You will manage communications with Sponsor Groups, funders, and the wider community. This includes creating newsletters, maintaining website content, managing social media, and responding to media and public enquiries. You will also moderate online community platforms and ensure knowledge sharing within the Sponsor Group network. 

We are looking for someone who is creative, highly organised, and able to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.

Are you organised… creative… a good planner?

We’re looking for someone to plan and organise our activities programme which offers Unpaid Carers in Lewisham the opportunity to have a break from their caring responsibilities in a social environment where they can meet other carers and focus on their wellbeing.

You’ll work closely with the service manager to plan and arrange a wide programme of activities for young and adult Unpaid Carers. This will involve researching activities, and liaising with providers, ensuring health and safety, insurance and other checks are in place, arranging resources and refreshments, completing risk assessments and booking venues.

You will actively promote activities to Unpaid Carers, manage bookings and respond to queries. The role is based in our Carers Hub, so you will interact with Unpaid Carers visiting the team or enquiring about the service. You will also prepare regular newsletters for the service and provide additional admin support to the team as needed.

Applicants should have experience in an admin or activities planning role and excellent customer service skills. You will require exceptional communication, organisational and written skills, and should be proactive and resourceful. You must be proficient in using Word and Excel, and experience of using databases would be an advantage.

The part-time hours (22.5) can be worked as 3 full days or shorter days across the week. Some flexibility is required for occasional evenings or Saturday working.

About the role

We are looking for a Website Content Officer to work alongside Communications Officers in Gaza and the West Bank and the Lebanon Team to produce highly engaging content for MAP’s website. The Website Content Officer will be responsible for ensuring content across the website is maintained and kept up-to-date, and supporting colleagues across the organisation to deliver the highest quality web content that reaches their audiences and meets the strategic goals of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Write, edit, and publish engaging SEO-optimised content, blogs, and stories.

About you

At Purposeful, communications is political. It is how we amplify girls’ voices, sharpen feminist narratives, and push back against regressive agendas. The Communications Director will sit at the heart of this work - shaping and delivering a bold communications strategy aligned with Purposeful’s vision, mission, and growth.

This role leads the stewardship of Purposeful’s voice, visual identity, and storytelling practice, ensuring that everything we produce - whether op-eds, reports, campaigns, or digital content - carries our politics with clarity and conviction. The Communications Director will work closely with the Co-CEOs and across all Purposeful teams, including Advocacy, grant-making, Learning & Insights, Programmes, and Resource Mobilisation, to amplify girls’ organising, showcase our impact, and influence the broader philanthropic and activist ecosystem.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role, requiring a deep commitment to feminist movements, an instinct for storytelling as political practice, and a proven track record of positioning organisations on the global stage.

SCOPE OF WORK

1. Communications Strategy & Leadership

• Lead on delivery and implementation of a new communications strategy, building on 2025 planning foundations.

• Work closely with the Co-CEOs and director team to horizon scan and adapt strategy in response to organisational vision and external landscape.

• Provide leadership to a small team of staff and consultants (designers, digital specialists, artists) and work collaboratively with partner communications leads on joint campaigns and initiatives.

• Meticulously manage and forecast the communications and editorial budget, ensuring value for money and strong planning.

• Track and analyse content performance, using insights to refine reach and engagement.

2. Storytelling & Content Development

• Oversee the creation of compelling storytelling content that highlights Purposeful’s impact, amplifies girls’ and young feminists’ voices, and influences funders.

• Lead editorial planning and content workflows, balancing evergreen storytelling with crisis-response or time-sensitive outputs.

• Oversee production and capture of content from live and digital events (webinars, IG Lives, panels, etc.).

• Coordinate brand refresh projects, including a website refresh, and strengthen Purposeful’s digital visibility with a focus on graphic-led content across social platforms.

3. Writing & Editorial Oversight

• Review and edit all external content to ensure quality, editorial standard, and alignment with Purposeful’s voice and values.

• Write op-eds, blogs, social media posts, campaign messaging, press materials, and executive summaries.

• Collaborate with colleagues in Learning & Insights to integrate data into storytelling and publications.

Through robust research, the department shapes and drives improvements to cancer policy and practice across prevention, early diagnosis, treatment, outcomes, inequalities, and innovation.

What will I be doing?

• Managing the analysis and interpretation of statistical information related to cancer prevention, to inform the charity's policy, information and influencing functions

• Ensuring insights are generated in a timely fashion

• Overseeing delivery of analytical projects from development to completion

We are seeking a qualified Specialist ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) to join our Advocacy team at Respond. The role includes providing pro-active emotional, practical and advocacy support for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people with complex or multiple needs who have experienced any form of sexual violence and are engaging, (or considering engaging) with the criminal justice system. The ISVA will work across London to provide non-judgmental, trauma-informed emotional support, working in partnership with other London sexual violence support services. 

Our ideal candidate will have experience in the ISVA role as well as a friendly and relational approach to working with clients.  You will have the ability to build trusting relationships, work in an empowering and inclusive way and support clients to heal following sexual abuse and develop coping capacity. • Support with developing the quality of services and projects delivered by Coram Voice to children and young people. This includes under Coram Voice’s Disability Outreach Project. It is an exciting time to join this project, which has recently expanded to include educational advocacy in addition to social care focused advocacy.
• You will support in the promotion of good practice across both Coram Voice and external organisations, building equitable and inclusive practice across the sector for children and young people with disabilities.

Our advocates will have relevant experience with children and young people, and may hold a suitable Advocacy Qualification. • Act as liaison between the CEO and internal and external stakeholders, drafting communications and ensuring clear, timely information flow; supporting scheduling of meetings and tracking of actions and, with support from the CRM Manager, ensuring key contacts and relationship data are accurately and securely maintained on the organisation’s central database.
• Coordinate meetings and agendas with the CEO, Director of Finance and Operations, Chair of the Board, and Board sub-committees; manage papers and follow-up actions.
• Organise external meetings, including venue liaison, room bookings, and travel arrangements.
• Provide administrative support to the Senior Management Team (SMT), including preparing reports, presentations, and other materials as required.
• Coordinate SMT and Programme Board meetings including compilation and circulation of agendas and supporting documents.
• Prepare regular status updates on project progress; maintain a record of agreed actions from meetings and liaise with team members to gather updates and ensure timely completion.
• Act as a point of contact between the Senior Management Team and working groups focused on Equity, Diversity & Inclusion and Well-being.

Board Support & Impact Reporting

• Support board-level processes by coordinating meeting logistics; prepare, compile and circulate materials including agendas, minutes, reports, and presentations;.
• Maintain accurate records of meetings including tracking and reporting on Board decisions and action items, ensuring timely follow-up and completion.
• Assist in developing and maintaining risk management and impact reporting frameworks and tools for the Trustee Board.
• Collect, analyse, and report on data related to AVUK’s strategic programme impact and outcomes.

Governance and Additional EA Support Duties

• Support the Director of Finance and Operations and Operations Manager to ensure AVUK’s legal obligations regarding governance, record-keeping and reporting requirements are maintained.
• Oversee office management and liaise with landlords at AVUK centres in London, Bicester, and flexible workspaces in Glasgow and Leeds.
• Manage special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CEO or Senior Management Team, including planning and execution.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential:

• Proven experience as an Executive Assistant in a similar role, or in direct organisational management.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrable discretion and ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

We are recruiting two Trainee Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners to join our Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Team at YMCA East Surrey.

Trainee Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) will be expected to integrate into YMCA East Surrey’s Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health (EWMH) team and to support all early intervention work. You will assess and deliver (under supervision), outcome focused, evidence-based interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.   

This Trainee Children's Wellbeing Practitioner role includes completion of the Child Wellbeing Practice Postgraduate or Graduate level Diploma run by the University of 

Sussex, which follows the nationally agreed curriculum to qualify as a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner.

The post holder must have experience of working with children, young people and families with multiple and/or complex needs and hold a minimum qualification equivalent to a NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field. In addition, the successful candidate must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

For the Level 6 (Graduate Diploma) the minimum level would be 3 x A-levels with grades of AAB - BBB (BBC if meet the criteria for contextual offer), or an equivalent qualification such as NVQ level 3 or above, or equivalent experience (and proven ability to work at graduate level). Evidence of experience of working with children and young people.

For the Level 7 (Post-graduate Diploma) the minimum requirement is a Graduate Degree at 2:2, NVQ level 6 or above in Health Care or equivalent experience (and proven ability to work at post-graduate level) 

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm. Includes attendance at the University of Sussex 2 days per week from January to October.

Location: Tadworth, but working across various locations in East Surrey and attendance at the University of Sussex.

Key responsibilities:

· Working in partnership to support children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties

· To develop plans for successful intervention and agreed outcomes.

· To support and empower children, young people and families to make informed choices about the intervention.

· To always operate from an inclusive values base, which recognises and respects diversity.

· To accept referrals within agreed national and local protocols.

· To undertake accurate assessment of risk to self and others.

· To adhere to the service referral protocols. Under supervision, signpost unsuitable referrals to the relevant service as necessary.

· Through close case management and supervision, escalate cases where the level of need becomes beyond scope

· Provide a range of information and support for evidence based psychological treatments, primarily guided self-help.

· Attend multi-disciplinary meetings relating to referrals or CYP in treatment, where appropriate.

· Keep coherent records of all activity in line with service protocols and use these records and outcome data to inform decision making.

· Attend and fulfil all the requirements of the training element of the post including practical, academic and practice-based assessments.

· As well as attendance at the University for training, fulfil private study requirements to enhance learning and prepare assignments for examination - recommendation is 150 hours of study for each of the 8 modules, which includes the teaching days.

· Assess and integrate issues relating to transitions, education and training/employment into the overall therapeutic process.

Our Youth and Play Practitioners will play a pivotal role in the Children, Young People and Families team, working as a core team of practitioners to ensure the smooth running of our programmes and services.
