Early Years Programme Advisor

We are looking for Early Years Advisors to join the team supporting the contract delivery of the Champions programmes.

Maths Champions is an online professional development programme, enabling early years settings to access CPD from their setting without the need to release staff to attend external training. The programme contains a range of evidence based training, reflective tools, resources and support from an Early Years Advisor.

This role offers hybrid or remote working.

Position: Early Years Advisors (Champions Programme) x3 posts available

Location: Huddersfield/hybrid or remote

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (with flexibility to allow for evening and occasional weekend work)

Salary: £30k increasing to £32k following probation

Contract: Temporary until July 2026

The Role

You will support the contract delivery of the Champions programmes, ensuring contract milestones are met. The Champions programmes are online professional development programmes designed to support early years settings to drive continuous improvement and increase high standards in early education for children from birth to five years, in line with the organisations mission to promote quality in early years for UK and international customers.

Working closely with other early years advisors, delivery partners, managers and cross teams, you will be responsible for the delivery of Champions programmes.

You will work with the private, voluntary, maintained and independent sectors, and school provision providing advice and support relating to Champions programmes that enable practitioners within nursery settings with practice improvement resulting in better outcomes for children.

About You

Educated to degree level/early year’s teacher specialising in children’s speech, communication, language and mathematical development or equivalent in early years you will have experience of:

• Working in early years, leading practice specifically in mathematical, language, literacy and communication as an early years professional or teacher
• Coaching and mentoring early years practitioners to support practice improvement
• Customer service or related experience
• Multi-agency partnership working
• Developing and securing strong partnerships
• Involvement with early year’s networks or groups
• Product development and review

Your role

The business development team aims to expand Contact’s reach to parent carers and practitioners by exploring opportunities for new projects, partnerships, commissions and paid for content including webinars, workshops and training. We also work with forums to offer support on areas not covered by their grant​. We expand our reach and support offer alongside of funded programmes.​ We aim to increase organisational sustainability by generating income and contributing to core organisational costs.

The Business Development Co-ordinator reports to the Business Development Operations Manager and is the linchpin for our business development programmes.  You will be responsible for setting up events online and face to face, contacting trainers, taking bookings and supporting with promotion; making sure the support and content made available to families is kept up to date. The role also involves updating our CRM database, making sure invoices are raised and paid and collating information for reports from the database or Excel.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who has excellent IT and digital skills, ideally with experience of online event systems such as Eventbrite and Zoom, a good knowledge of Excel and experience using a CRM database. You’ll need to be highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a friendly, confident phone manner and a good knowledge of the issues and concerns families with disabled children face.

Purpose of the role

The Senior Technical Associate role is a key member of the Senior Technical Team at ENN. The post holder will bring extensive skills, expertise and capacity to deliver on a portfolio of our projects, provide strategic and technical direction and leadership, and manage their teams.

Terms and Conditions

· Hours of work: This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) for a 12 month fixed term contract (maternity cover). We will consider appointing two part-time positions to secure the right technical fit and skillsets.

1. Technical

The Senior Technical Associate will manage a portfolio of projects, lead on, and support, project delivery and develop content of technical outputs. This will involve being accountable for quality and timely delivery. The priority areas for this position are:

· Portfolio lead for ENN’s Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies (IFE) and Management of small and at-risk infants under 6 months and their mothers (MAMI) projects

· Project lead for Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies (IFE) Project.

· Technical lead for pieces of work/activities within the IFE/MAMI portfolio.

· Senior editorial role in Field Exchange

· Institutional engagement; particularly donors and foundations

Distinguishing role characteristics include:

· Portfolio lead: – Provide oversight of the balance, delivery and directions within the portfolio, managing the portfolio team, and with responsibility for ensuring plans are resourced.

· Project lead: Ensure delivery and assure quality technical outputs

About the role

Corporate Partnerships are a vital income stream for Habitat for Humanity GB, and with the guidance of our Head of Corporate, the Corporate Partnership Manager will work to maximize fundraising opportunities and strengthen relationships with our current partners.

What the role involves

The Partnerships Manager will help to retain long term support and drive growth within in our portfolio for Habitat for Humanity GB. With an understanding of corporate partnerships and a passion for the charity sector and international humanitarian work, you will work as part of a team to ensure long-term relationships are fostered. Principle activities will include:

· Develop creative and innovative fundraising strategies for corporate partnerships, including writing proposals and pitches.

· Foster long-term relationships with partners through personalized and proactive engagement.

· Collaborate across the network to implement global partnership activations locally.

· Produce regular reports on progress, financial targets, and key learnings from fundraising efforts.

· Work with the Head of Corporate Fundraising to streamline the transition from new business prospects to account management.

GamCare is recruiting a Services Team Leader to lead the delivery of effective, responsive, safe, caring and well-led support services that identify, support and provide interventions for women at risk of or experiencing gambling related harms.

Founded in 1997, GamCare is one of the leading providers of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling harms. We operate the National Gambling Helpline, provide treatment for anyone who is harmed by gambling, create awareness about safer gambling and treatment, and encourage an effective approach to safer gambling within the gambling industry.

The Role

You will assist with the day-to-day delivery of a support service across the UK, including regular line management and case management supervision of Outreach and Engagement Practitioners and Womens Services Officers. You will also support the Programme Manager in planning the set up and launch of the support service in Northern Ireland.

Alongside service delivery, you will develop innovative ways to listen to and support women experiencing gambling harm. You will incorporate the opinions of women with lived experience of gambling harm into current and any new service design and delivery to ensure the support is responsive to the diverse needs of women.

The Women’s Pathway also delivers awareness raising training for professionals and digital support tools and resources for both women and professionals across the UK. You will work collaboratively with the training provision to develop digital support content, ensuring a joined-up offer to women and professionals. 

About You

You will need the ability to provide leadership to the Women’s Pathway on delivering safe, effective and women focused gambling harm support.

You will have demonstrable experience of case management and case management supervision for clients with varying needs who are seeking a change in behaviour to overcome harm caused.

You will also be confident in identifying and recommending opportunities for continuous service improvement and expanding the reach and impact of the service.

Purpose of the job/about the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Community Fundraising Team at Dementia UK, where you will help deliver our community strategy developing new opportunities and relationships with local groups and organisations.

As an experienced and dedicated Regional Fundraiser you will deliver excellent stewardship support, proactively managing and motivating volunteers to undertake fundraising and awareness activities, ensuring a sustainable, long-term revenue stream for Dementia UK.

You will have understanding of community fundraising across both relationship management and new business development with proven success of building and sustaining stakeholder relationships. Additionally, previous experience in planning and delivering projects as well as with a history of delivering impactful presentations, will be beneficial.

Through a long-term blended programme of rugby coaching, group and 1-1 mentoring delivered by a consistent team of trusted expert practitioners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Working closely with the regional delivery teams and reporting to the Director of Programmes, the key responsibilities will be to:

1.  Manage our Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) processes. (50%)

• Work with the Director of Programmes to refine and improve the overall approach to SOHK impact management processes and the outcomes framework.
• Oversee the use of data collection tools and approaches that are appreciative of the practicalities, yet uncompromising in our ambition to achieve sector leading recognition with regard to MEL.
• Work with and support regional managers to ensure timely, accurate and regular cycles of data collection throughout the year.
• Provide coaching and support to the delivery team, including training sessions that will ensure a thorough understanding of MEL processes and measurement tools.
• Closely monitor survey completion rates, identify data collection gaps and devise a realistic plan to help fill these gaps.
• Work with the delivery team and Director of Programmes to create engaging ways to gather feedback data from young people participating in the programme, ensuring the centrality of youth voice.
• Design, plan for and implement the means by which long term outcomes are measured, post programme.

2.  Oversee the processing and analysis of data (30%)

• Lead on the data processing, analysis and internal impact evaluation from our feedback surveys and data collection methods.
• Identify and implement new ways for data quality, accuracy and completion to be improved across the organisation.
• Alongside the Director of Programmes and Regional Managers, ensure that learnings are understood and embedded into the delivery teams so our programmes are constantly refined and improved.
• Establish regular feedback loops to the delivery teams – both formal and informal - creating a consistent and regular flow of data insights.
• Create a learning culture in which data isn’t scary or about performance management, but about learning, improvement and consistency.
• Undertake thematic analysis of qualitative data, including feedback from young people, team members and other adults, to identify any learning that can be fed back into programme design.
• Establish evaluation methodologies that ensure feedback from the young people on school of Hard Knocks programmes are heard and considered.
• Share back insights and learning from impact management to key stakeholders, with the support of the Director of Programmes.

3.  Support our Fundraising and Communications  (20%)

• Support the Fundraising Team as they identify, cultivate and inform existing and new funding partners by providing them with our insights and evidence.
• Support the Marketing & Comms Manager with insights, case studies and any relevant data as they curate compelling annual reports based around our impact.

ABOUT YOU

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Experience of designing and implementing evidence and learning frameworks.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with data analysis, and a clear understanding of the importance of data quality and management and its importance to analysis and assessment.
• Experience managing and analysing large sets of data, with an understanding of the importance of data quality.
• Experience of creating practical insights from data analysis work and working collaboratively to feed these back into programme improvement and wider learning.
• Experience in setting up structured impact management practices within an organisation, including regular learning and review points across the organisation.
• Experience of supporting colleagues to understand and engage with impact management and contribute to a culture of innovation and learning.

The Regional Adoptions Facilitator will be instrumental in streamlining our adoption services to maximise the number of horses we can help by 2026! 

More about the role

As Regional Adoption Facilitator, you'll collaborate with centre-based Adoptions Coordinators to swiftly execute the Blue Cross strategy, focusing on efficient horse adoption services, including home direct placements. You'll oversee the post-adoption process in your region, ensuring smooth ownership transfers after successful loan periods to expedite horse rehoming and optimize space for new cases.

Each day you will be conducting thorough home checks and visits—both in-person and virtually—for borrowers to uphold welfare standards and address any issues promptly. Collaborating with the Rehabilitation, Trainer, and Behaviour Advisor (RTBA), you'll manage challenging horse behaviours to support successful home placements. You'll also facilitate home direct rehoming initiatives, making critical decisions to match horses with suitable owners based on your expertise and ensuring ongoing support post-adoption.

To expand our impact, you'll recruit and manage a network of volunteers, including a regional volunteer manager, for home direct assessments and checks. This includes coordinating visits and appointments, fostering partnerships with external charities aligned with our home direct efforts.

Providing excellent client experiences is essential, ensuring every interaction covers all necessary information for successful matching and adopting horses into loving homes.

This is a home-based post with extensive travel. The nature of the post will require the coordinator to demonstrate considerable flexibility in arranging their work schedule and time allocation. This will include some weekend and evening work. Due to the nature of the charity’s work, it may be necessary to exceed these hours when the workload demands. The Regional Adoptions Facilitator will be required to use their own car in carrying out their duties and will be reimbursed for business mileage as appropriate. 

This is a part-time role working 26.25 hours over four days per week on a rota which includes weekends and bank holidays.  This role involves extensive travel covering areas such as Warwickshire, Nottinghamshire and across to Norfolk.

Knowledge, skills, and experience
