Summary
The National Society for Education (NSE) is both an NCI and a Royal-charter charity. It's aims are to support Church schools and the wider education sector by developing leaders, shaping policy and growing faith.
The NSE leads the Church of England's national work in education in partnership with 41 Diocesan Boards of Education and approximately 4,700 Church of England schools. We also support the national education work of the Church in Wales, which includes around 150 schools. Key role requirements
- This is a fully remote role.
- A salary of £59,248 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

About the role
We are recruiting for a Campaigns and Mobilisation Officer to join on a full-time, permanent contract, working 35 hours per week.
Campaigning is at the heart of our mission to end the devastation caused by dementia, and this position is key to Alzheimer’s Society’s ambition to drive meaningful policy change across England, Northern Ireland, and Wales.
As Campaign and Mobilisation Officer you will be focussed on delivering impact focussed campaigns; including the mobilisation of audiences, to change policy at both a local and national level across England, Northern Ireland and Wales; making the case for dementia to be the priority it needs to be and ensuring policy objectives are implemented to improve the lives of people living with dementia.
You will help deliver our campaigning strategy, by deploying a range of online and offline tactics and ensuring that all campaigning action is mobilised to affect change in dementia at all levels. You will support and deliver campaigns that are collaborative and impact focused, working closely with other teams across the organisation, including, but not limited to, colleagues in External Relations, Marketing and Brand and Fundraising.
This role is home based, with some travel expected for team and directorate away days.

About you
Joining us, you’ll be able to combine skills across communications and influencing disciplines, along with technical ability related to the management of campaigning platforms and data handling. Job Purpose:
The Operations Assistant provides support to the HR and Operations Manager by taking day to day responsibility, under guidance, for various facilities, safety and administrative processes, including HR administration, as well as responsiblity for locking/unlocking of meeting rooms, routine health and safety tasks and other matters that contribute to making the office a pleasant and functional environment in which to work.

Maintain and Update employee notice boards for HR and H&S

Opening, logging and distributing inbound post

Support with answering phone calls into the Office and responding to general enquiries

Recording and reporting on Environmental data

Assist with co-ordinating maintenance activities for the Office space

Support with H&S administration, such as Risk Assessments and Accident Reporting

To complete basic H&S checks including walk arounds, first aid kit maintenance

Support with Training requirements, booking of courses and the maintenance of a skills matrix

Monitor and maintain stationery requirements and office supplies such as milk, water

To assist with the setting up and presentation of the Meeting Rooms, to keep them well presented and to ensure that they are unlocked and locked each day.

To support the Fulfilment Manager on a regular basis with processing orders and deliveries

To cover in the absence of the Fulfilment Manager, the processing of orders and deliveries
-
Participate with and support the HR & Operations Manager in HR projects on an adhoc basis

Ensure that relevant charity and other legislation is complied with

To comply with Brain Tumour Research’s internal policies and procedures

To undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the HR and Operations Manager and Director of Finance and Ops

Community Fundraiser - Home Counties
Are you ready to take on a new challenge with a leading charity making a real difference in brain tumour research?
Brain Tumour Research is seeking an experienced and motivated fundraiser to join our team. As a key part of our fundraising efforts in our high-performing East region, you will have the opportunity to drive income generation through a variety of initiatives, including challenge events, fundraising groups, and corporate partnerships such as charity of the year. You will also be responsible for driving initiatives to increase our profile and supporter base within Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire and Essex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate income across a range of community fundraising initiatives and events, with the opportunity to lead on key projects
- Steward supporters to help drive the charity’s fundraising activities and growth
- Work with the fundraising team to develop and maintain strong relationships with fundraisers, donors, partners, and key stakeholders
- Contribute towards the growth and success of fundraising efforts, ensuring a sustainable income stream for the vital ongoing funding of brain tumour research
Requirements:
- At least one year of fundraising experience, with a proven track record in income generation
- Strong experience in supporter stewardship
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire supporters and partners alike
- Passion for Brain Tumour Research and its mission to fund research and ultimately find a cure

The Case Coordinator will work closely with the Head of Direct Work to ensure the delivery of high-quality Independent Social Work Reports (ISWRs) across the direct work strand of SWWB. The Case Coordinator will supervise volunteer social workers, carry out social work assessments themselves, and support quality assurance processes to maintain excellence in social work practice.
