Job description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

This will be based within community venues and working alongside our REP Case Managers to deliver an employability themed curriculum on a face-to-face basis. You will ensure that all learners have completed their ESOL Assessment, are engaged in the right level of support, are learning and are thriving in their journey towards integration in the UK and progressing with their ESOL to support returning to work over their time on REP.


Your responsibilities will include:
• Work alongside Case Managers to complete ESOL assessments and design bespoke
ESOL learning plans for each individual 
• Deliver good quality in-house ESOL provision on a face-to-face basis appropriate to
learners levels and in the community and at community venues. 
• Where needed liaise with local colleges, ESOL providers, charities and other
organisations to refer learners based on their language levels and needs 
• Monitor leaners’ engagement with courses, including our own, their progress and
objectives or qualification achieved. Adapt provision where needed to maintain
engagement.
• Deliver activities in accordance with contractual Service Level Agreements and company
standards 
• Keep accurate service users’ records in accordance with data protection requirements so
that personal information is safeguarded, and progress towards KPIs accurately recorded
on the case management system.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 
Required 
• ESOL/EAL subject specialist teaching qualification or equivalent experience 
• Experience working with refugees and / or those facing complex barriers 
• Knowledge and understanding of Data Protection, Health & Safety and Diversity &
Inclusion 
• Experience in successfully managing and progressing customers to meet agreed goals
and ambitions 
• The ability to be based in, and travel around designated catchment areas
• Experience adapting delivery to meet the needs of those at varying levels whilst creating
an engagement environment and meeting high standards 


Desirable
• Trained in Trauma-informed support 
• Access to a reliable vehicle and a full, clean drivers' licence 
• Knowledge of Dari, Farsi or Pashto.

Location and compensation

You will primarily working on an outreach basis within the community. There are two part time roles available on 6 month fixed term contract, one covering Thames Valley and the other Surrey and Sussex

Compensation: You will receive a salary in the range 26,000-30,000 (FTE) GBP per annum, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including private health insurance and up to 10% employer pension contributions.
