You will lead the BCP Community Micro-enterprise Project. You will find and mentor local people and community organisations, helping them to create new ways for people who need care and support to live the life they want.

About the role

Right now, the Partnerships and National Engagement Team is in an incredibly exciting period of growth, as Partnerships Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in building new transformational partnerships which support Crisis new ten-year strategy.

Working as part of a friendly and enthusiastic team you will be you will be responsible for identifying, nurturing and developing a robust pipeline of new partnerships, with value-aligned businesses, developing opportunities for us to work together to help us end homelessness in the UK.

About you

We have recently received funding to explore expansion into Scotland for the Faith in Affordable Housing project. This will be a 15-month project with potential to expand, subject to funding.

The proposed project is to undertake a scoping exercise across Scotland, to ascertain the need for social and affordable housing, and the key stakeholders providing housing, as well as the potential presented by faith organisation-owned assets to meet housing need. The resulting feasibility study and business plan will then inform the potential next steps for Faith in Affordable Housing Scotland.

We’re looking for a self-motivated and driven public health, inclusion and awareness manager. This is an exciting time to join Breast Cancer Now and the public health, inclusion and awareness team as we continue to grow as a charity and our work across the UK. Your role will continue to help drive forward our team’s work, which is to empower patients and the public to play a full role in managing their own risk of getting breast cancer, diagnosing breast cancer earlier and improving their quality of life after a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. You’ll be responsible for managing and expanding the development and implementation of behaviour change programmes across the UK. This includes growing our public health talk programme for external organisations and specific partners.

About you

You’ll be a self-starter with proven experience of developing and delivering public health and inclusion initiatives, campaigns, behaviour change projects and programmes. This includes community based and digital interventions. You’ll have strong experience in people and volunteer management.

A confident communicator, you’ll have experience of developing and delivering training programmes or public health activities in a community setting to diverse audiences. You’ll be able to develop and maintain positive relationships at a local level with external organisations and groups including those from under-represented communities. You’ll also have experience of managing and supporting volunteers.

• Assessing funding applications received, undertaking due diligence and make recommendations to the grants panel.
• Producing high-quality documentation for all panel meetings including providing the panel with accurate and timely data to support decision-making.

• Effectively manage contractors for our grant's programmes including Community Grants, Employment and Skills and grants for customers.
• Deliver a good user experience for grant applicants and awardees and ensure there is consistency across grant programmes.
• Work with the Funding and Innovation Manager and Social Impact Manager and leads in each team to ensure monitoring and evaluation requirements are being delivered through the grants programme that demonstrate our social impact.

• Supporting opportunities via our grant programmes to bring in external funding to benefit SNG communities and customers.

About the role:

This newly created role will be responsible for resourcing external talent across all areas, partnering with managers from scoping the resource to the successful candidate joining the team.

The role is pivotal to the design and implementation of the HR Operating Model and the successful candidate will be responsible for management of the in-house recruitment function. You will ensure a first-class direct recruitment service to stakeholders, at the same time providing an excellent candidate experience to anyone who applies for a role. 

Exceptional people are intrinsic to the work of Advance, and as we work towards our vision, the need to introduce talent and ensure vacancies are filled quickly and effectively will only become greater. The role holder will contribute as part the HR team working collaboratively to support effective hiring across multiple functions. You will be the go-to contact and champion for safer recruitment and engagement initiatives, and oversee the full recruitment lifecycle.

About You:

To be successful as the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be an experienced professional with a proven track record, ideally within both the private sector and the charity or not for profit sector.

You will bring a high level of motivation, skill and ambition to actively source the best talent and simultaneously manage multiple cases/roles. Whilst collaboratively working with stakeholders you will proficiently share your knowledge surrounding employment legislation and actively and efficiently work closely with the Talent Acquisition Officer.

The Group Finance Director holds a key role in the executive team in the Foundation Office of the Charity.  They are accountable for all matters relating to the UWGCF Charity finance, including the oversight of school income, endowment investments, loans, subsidiary companies, VAT, and the leadership of the Foundation finance team.  To succeed in the job, the post holder needs to build effective working relationships with independent school bursars and finance teams and link effectively with the Business managers in the state funded academies.

The UWGCF is a complex organisation, and the post holder will need to demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build effective and supportive working relationships with other and be prepared to engage fully in the work of the Foundation. This may mean working outside of normal working hours but most importantly means communicating and work with colleagues as part of the team.

Initially they will report to the Chair of Trustees, although following a Governance Review and further work on Foundation Strategy, the Trustees may appoint a Foundation CEO.  In the meantime the Foundation Office is led by a joint executive comprising three executives: Director of Governance and Operations, Director of HR, and Director of Finance.
