Junior UX Designer

We’re looking for a talented and innovative UX Designer to join our team. You will assist in creating user-centred designs by understanding business requirements, user needs and technical constraints.

This is a remote working role.

Position: CE319 Junior UX Designer

Location: Homebased, UK, Nationwide, however, occasional travel will be required as part of this role

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (flexible working available)

Salary: £29,260 per annum (inner London weighting £3,950 per annum or outer London weighting £2,100 per annum may be applied in accordance to where you live)

Contract: This is a fixed-term contract for 23 months

The Role

Reporting to the UX Manager, the Junior UX Designer role will help develop user-centred products and services across our website and other digital platforms, with a strong focus on accessibility, usability and engagement to support those impacted by stroke.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Design and prototyping – create wireframes, user flows, site maps etc. across multiple devices.

· User research – conduct and analyse user research including surveys, usability testing and A/B testing.

· Collaboration – work collaboratively with developers, designers and stakeholders.

· Accessibility standards – ensure all designs are accessible for our users and inclusive.

· Help to conduct and evaluate research studies to inform the design process and ensure that our products and services meet the needs of our users.

· Convert research findings into actionable insights and present research findings to a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

· Collaborate closely with product teams to ensure that design solutions are aligned with the organisation's goals and are feasible to implement.

About You

You will need to be:

· Enthusiastic, hard-working and passionate about creating user focused experiences.

· Understanding of web and mobile technologies, and ability to create designs that are responsive and accessible.

· Proactive in staying up to date with new UX trends and best practice.

· Proficient in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Hotjar, Google Analytics or similar.

· Experienced in applying user-centred design methodologies in past projects.

· Skilled with attention to detail.

Occasional travel will be required as part of this role, including team meetings, team away days or other work-related meetings.

About the role

The key aspects of the role:

• Responsibility for analysing and reporting on PLS customer data on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Deliver data dashboards across the department to improve data accessibility, presenting timely and accurate information for decision making
• Provide evidence-based insights such as customer profiles, buying patterns, repeat business opportunities to support our customer retention and marketing strategies
• Analyse and report on the PLS customer feedback data to improve our customer experience

We are looking for someone with: 

• Highly developed knowledge and experience of data management systems and ability to use statistical and data analysis packages
• Experience analysing large datasets and an understanding of how to gather, segment and report data insight, ideally on customer or audience data
• Experience of developing and managing data dashboards through PowerBI
• Experience of developing data, coding, or analytical best practice within an organisation

The International Programme Officer will report to our Global Operations Director and will work closely with personnel and partners in different countries where WW supports development programmes, to ensure the work we support is aligned with WW’s strategy, and that the delivery of our work has impact, is on track and is in line with donor agreements and budgets.

The Researcher will be trained to apply our ratings system to the companies behind the brands in our product guides, as well as to perform company screenings for external clients. Researchers input research into our database, write accompanying articles for our magazine and website, and produce research for external clients and for consultancy projects as and when required. This role will also include some business marketing.

We are the Military Wives Choirs, the only charity that focuses on building wellbeing and resilience, through singing, for all women impacted by their military connection.   Our mission, Sing, Share, Support, is at the heart of everything we do.  

This role is part of the Choirs Support Team (CST), a small, dedicated team, that supports the network of individual Military Wives Choirs and the performances of Military Wives Choirs as a recording and performing artist. The CST manage the day-to-day running of the charity and the network, providing support and advice and seeking ‘once in a lifetime opportunities’ for our choir members, such as recording music or participating in the Kings’ Coronation.

This role is instrumental in determining our musical content, the quality of our core repertoire, our future musical direction and for ensuring that our musical approach delivers the well-being benefits of singing to our network.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Leading on the development and delivery of the music plan for Military Wives Choirs 

Assuring the quality of our choirs’ music-making, event activity, rehearsal and performance practice and relationships with Musical Directors and other key stakeholders  

Providing advice and support to choirs with the recruitment and management of their Musical Directors

Ensuring that our Musical Directors, Assistant Musical Directors and accompanists are of consistent quality and understand and support the direction and ethos that we want for our choirs

To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience working in a community setting, delivering information and training sessions, leading workshops or educational activities

We are seeking a dynamic and organised Office Administrator to join our team. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual with excellent communication and analytical skills. You’ll enjoy looking for ways to optimise all elements of campaigns from creative, content and media testing and able to act as a key point of knowledge in this area. Experience of DRTV is required, with an understanding of individual giving fundraising KPIs, including in relation to: DRTV, print, telemarketing, email and landing pages. You will be confident working with data with attention to detail and accuracy, from briefing data criteria for emails to using excel to review and share results. You will also be able to engage wider stakeholders in our acquisition testing plan development, providing clear regular communication to update on progress and learnings.

Most importantly, you’ll be keen to deliver insight and audience-led, best in class fundraising campaigns to help Brooke realise an ambitious acquisition growth programme.

Are you looking for a senior marketing role, where you can help implement an exciting new fundraising strategy? 

At RBL we’re looking for an experienced marketing manager to join our Fundraising directorate and lead a brilliant team to develop and implement a range of supporter acquisition marketing programmes to achieve the growth ambitions of our Fundraising strategy.

The Supporter Acquisition team is responsible for all marketing to attract new supporters across a large portfolio of appeals/products and media.  We are looking for someone to join us who has significant expertise with a wide range of marketing channels and can really add value to large well-established programmes with their experience, knowledge and drive to continually improve, identify appropriate new opportunities and shape supporter acquisition programmes.

The role involves leading an experienced team of two managers and two co-ordinators, and leading relationships with key suppliers.  The marketing programmes include most significantly face-to-face fundraising (from stands in retail space or expos/outdoor events and door-to-door) and DRTV advertising, plus some print campaigns, payroll giving and 3rd party marketing.  The role will also manage development projects that could include aspects of digital fundraising.  An important part of the role is developing advertising for the nation’s largest charity appeal, the Poppy Appeal each November.

As an experienced senior marketing manager, you would hit the ground running to optimally deliver plans with your team and whilst helping to shape programme strategies and review supply requirements.  You will need experience of managing and coaching teams and working in a truly collaborative way with colleagues, teams and suppliers, leading by example in accordance with RBL’s values.

You won’t shy away from complexity and getting to grips with the details of the broad array of appeals/products your team will be marketing and associated systems, budgeting, reporting and KPI measurements for each of them.  You’ll strive for excellence, ensuring campaigns are compelling and effective and will be able to capably resolve issues at a senior level and take on new challenges.

As a Supporter Contact Officer you will be joining an incredible team that acts as the first point of contact for existing and potential supporters - whether that’s by phone, email or social media. The Supporter Contact Team ensures existing and potential supporters receive great customer service, whilst facilitating continued interest and connection between supporters and the vital work that we do! This may take the form of: processing payments, maintaining supporter records, managing enquiries and providing information about ongoing appeals, campaigns and child sponsorships. 

Building rapport with supporters and upselling donations and marketing various donation options and products will be a key element of the position as will maintaining supporter records, managing enquiries and providing information.

You will be responsible for:

Being the voice of ActionAid, building rapport and working with colleagues across the organisation to resolve supporter queries and problems 
Providing information about ongoing appeals, campaigns and child sponsorships 
Processing payments and looking into transactions 
Maintaining supporter records and recording communications
Discussing the work of ActionAid and our range of products 
Handling complaints and complex queries 

Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be asked to participate in criminal records checks at the point of offer.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need some experience of working in a procurement function, working across a number of different categories (including IT). You’ll need excellent communication skills, with some experience of negotiating with suppliers. Attention to detail and accuracy is an important part of this role, as well as strong problem-solving skills, underpinned by a focus on cost-effectiveness. A genuine passion for dogs and animal welfare is essential.
