The role and your key responsibilities

As a Partner Success Lead your role is to provide world class customer service to our partner base of over 2,500 schools and colleges. You will be responsible for onboarding our new schools and supporting our existing schools to make the most of the Unifrog platform. Solutions and customer service focused, you will make sure that all interactions with Unifrog are prompt, positive and successful. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Partner management

• Being the first point of contact for enquiries from our existing 2,500+ partners.

• Onboarding our new schools by setting them up on our platform and making sure teachers and students are ready to get the most out of Unifrog.

• Continually improving our onboarding materials and processes using feedback from our partners.

• Partner training and support

• Training staff remotely on how to use the platform.

• Troubleshooting issues and providing on-the-spot support via phone, email and video calls.

• Ad hoc tasks

• Leading on and supporting a variety of other projects across other parts of the business during quieter periods.

• Proactively working to foster a sense of community amongst our Unifrog partners and always thinking about how we can promote the sharing and embedding of Unifrog best practice across our partner schools.

• Supporting the team with general admin.

Key details

• £29,624 per annum (Grade A) plus a share in a company-wide performance bonus (pro rata).

• Full-time.

• 6-month fixed term contract.

• Working hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm or Monday to Thursday, and 8:30am to 4:00pm on Friday.

• 28 days paid holiday per year (plus bank holidays) (pro rata).

• Split your time between home and our office in Hoxton, London (a minimum of 2 days per week).

Earthsight is looking for a Researcher/Campaigner to work alongside our Northern Forests Team Lead delivering impactful research, analyses and advocacy on wood products supply chains.

Earthsight is a non-profit organisation dedicated to researching and investigating environmental and social crime and injustice. We use cutting-edge investigative methods to uncover and expose wrongdoing. Since emerging as a fully-fledged organisation in 2016, our reports have garnered headlines, won awards and triggered major changes by governments and corporations.

We seek to create positive change by influencing government policy, uncovering greenwash and raising awareness among key constituencies about the impacts of global supply chains on the world’s forests and forest communities.

Over the years Earthsight has played a leading role investigating and exposing the links between illegal timber from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus and Western importers and retailers. We have shone a light on how flawed certification schemes are undermining effective law enforcement in Western markets and sought to influence internal reform at these bodies. The Russian invasion of Ukraine has prompted new focus on uncovering how Russian and Belarussian wood products still reach Western consumers and support these countries’ economies despite Western sanctions against them.

You will play a crucial role by helping drive forward Earthsight’s efforts to clean up global wood supply chains, including by debunking industry spin and monitoring and analysing relevant green labels and traceability technologies. You will support the delivery of advocacy campaigns aimed at key stakeholders to help strengthen law enforcement and increase transparency in opaque markets. You will also help expose how Western markets continue to fuel Russia and Belarus’ timber sectors, including through supply chains that are in breach of EU/US timber regulations or sanctions.

The position is offered as a full-time permanent contract. The successful candidate would preferably be based in the UK and able to come into our office in London regularly. Main tasks and responsibilities

• Monitor relevant media, NGO, think-tank, government and academic reports on EU, UK and US supply chains linked to forests and other biomes in relevant producing regions, including related to relevant sanctions on Russia and Belarus
• Monitor developments with industry lobbying efforts – particularly in relation to certification and traceability systems and technologies
• Provide regular summaries from this monitoring to the team lead
• Build and maintain a strong understanding of relevant trade links between key producing regions and consumer countries/regions of particular interest (e.g. EU, UK, US), through analysis of third-party reports, raw trade data and shipment records
• Keep abreast of wider policy and industry developments in key producer countries, including case studies of deforestation or rights abuses related to relevant commodities, general developments with forests and with government policy related to the impact of commodities on forests and other biomes
• Carry out additional desk research into chosen case studies, including by exploring shipment data, company reports and websites, satellite imagery, corporate records and trading websites, and holding remote meetings with relevant actors including researchers and activists in the countries concerned
• Assist in planning and carrying out field research on selected cases if needed
• Provide detailed reports of research findings for internal review
• Assist with turning research findings into published reports, analyses, policy messages and recommendations, films and other external outputs
• Assist with efforts to secure media coverage for reports, analyses and op-eds, including by helping draft press releases and brief journalists on details of research
• Support team lead in developing and implementing advocacy activities based on research findings and the organisation’s overall strategic goals, including by participating in meetings with policymakers, civil servants, NGOs and other key stakeholders
• Help build and maintain relevant contacts, including with NGOs, journalists and researchers in key countries
• Other suitable tasks as required by the team lead, such as supporting tropical timber research carried out by other teams

Person specification

Essential

• At least three years’ paid experience working as a campaigner, researcher or journalist on environment, forests, climate change, human rights or a related field
• Excellent research and/or campaigning skills with proven ability to find and analyse complex information from a variety of sources to produce meaningful content or influence change
• Ability to find and develop sources, and maintain effective contacts and relationships
• Strong attention to detail and factual accuracy
• Excellent written English skills with ability to produce clear and compelling reports, blogs and press releases
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Self-motivated and collaborative team player

Ideal

• Fluency in Russian, Polish or Ukrainian

Desirable

• Experience working with shipment records and satellite imagery
• Knowledge of GIS software and platforms

Members are the lifeblood of the RCR and we’re seeking a Membership Operations Team Leader that will ensure member’s interactions with us are seamless, easy and professional.

As the team lead you play a critical role in supporting the high-performing Operations team through day-to-day supervision to meet service-level agreements and deadlines. About Pancreatic Cancer Action:

Pancreatic Cancer Action (PCA) was founded in 2010 by a rare survivor of the disease. We are a small, creative and passionate team committed to improving early diagnosis and saving lives. In August 2020, Pancreatic Cancer Action merged with Pancreatic Cancer Scotland making our team stronger than ever. 

Pancreatic cancer has only a 7% survival rate and this figure has not improved significantly for over 50 years. Despite it being the 5th biggest cancer killer in the UK, pancreatic cancer receives only 3% of overall research funding. 

With a strong focus on early diagnosis, it is Pancreatic Cancer Action’s aim to improve survival rates through raising awareness, medical education, improved patient information and by funding research specifically into the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Simply put, we want more people diagnosed in time for surgery, currently the only potential for a cure.

Main responsibilities:  

• Develop and grow the annual programme of fundraising events such as the London Marathon and Great North Run.
• Grow and steward a pipeline of new and existing community and events audiences and fundraising opportunities with a particular focus on England. Ensuring to always maintain the highest quality supporter journey.
• Manage the delivery of the virtual challenge events. Add insight and support the annual Pancreatic Awareness Month Campaign and help to further develop Pyjama’s for Pan Can to new audiences.
• As a senior member of the Income Generation Team you will contribute to robust financial planning, management and reporting of income and expenditure in your own areas of expertise.
• Responsible for the delivery and recruitment into PCA’s Challenge Events programme making sure participants receive exceptional supporter care.
• Develop compelling and engaging third party fundraising materials to inspire supporters to reach their maximum fundraising targets.
• Contribute to the development of automated and integrated supporter journey and engagement plans with the support of the Head of Income Generation to ensure a consistent and efficient supporter experience.
• Seek out engagement opportunities to support donor acquisition and retention utilising new and existing channels and platforms.
• You will be an excellent relationship manager who can maintain accurate records on our CRM system (Salesforce) to ensure that we develop, engage and update our supporters.
• Work closely with colleagues in Marketing and Communications, to create engaging products and community and event campaigns. Updating the fundraising section of the PCA website and other third party platforms with compelling content and seamless user journeys.
• Be competent at data inputting, IT literate and very organised. Empathy and excellent communication skills are vital in this role and the candidate must be able to collaborate and work well as part of a team.
• Attending when necessary, external events, conferences and exhibitions across the UK and being the face of Pancreatic Cancer Action, acknowledging that some of these may involve overnight stays and weekends.

Income and targets

• Help to grow Pancreatic Cancer Action’s income from community and challenge event fundraisers.
• Develop ongoing stewardship journey for Community/DIY Fundraisers and increase average gift though exceptional supporter care.

The role

The Head of Practice leads on best practice and practice development across Business Disability Forum. This includes leading and overseeing the work of the Advice Service to support our members and Partners and acting as the primary referral point for complex queries, collating and sharing best practice from within our membership and the impact of BDF best practice advice. They will also lead the delivery of the BDF internal upskilling programme to ensure that all Member and Partner facing teams are at the forefront of best practice in delivering high quality advice and support.

They will also work closely with the Content Team to ensure that BDF’s resources reflect the latest best practice and with the Policy Team to ensure BDF’s advice and resources reflect the latest policy and research thinking and to maintain our position as thought leaders.

The requirement

• Experience of leading and managing experts on diversity and inclusion related situations and of motivating.
• A demonstrable track record of relationship building at a senior level leading to tangible results.
• Experience of providing consultancy, training and advice on disability related issues.
• Experience of presenting to senior management and the board.
• Experience of working in human resources, talent management, or organisation development to at least adviser level.
• High level of understanding and knowledge of the Equality Act 2010 and recent disability related case law in the UK and Globally.

The purpose of the Senior Direct Marketing Officer’s role is to deliver and evolve the acquisition and retention strategy, inspiring the people of London to become long-term supporters of the Charity.

Working closely with the Senior Direct Marketing Manager, you will manage campaign activity, from briefing through to execution, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement within the programme, particularly with regards to retention and delivery of the supporter journey.

Job Purpose 

Sitting within BSR’s exciting External Affairs & Audit team the Clinical Audit Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the on-going work of the National Early Inflammatory Arthritis Audit (NEIAA) to gather evidence and drive up the quality of care for patients living with inflammatory arthritis. With touch points across the Rheumatology community, the NHS and health regulators, the NEIAA project is an essential tool in achieving this part of our five-year strategy. At a busy and important time for the NEIAA project this is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to develop their organisational, project management and stakeholder relation skills as we work towards producing our 6th ‘State of the Nation’ report and securing an extension of the Audit contract. 

Main responsibilities

• To provide administrative support to the NEIAA project manager such as setting up business processes, engaging with stakeholders and managing the audit mailbox as the first point of contact.
• Liaise with the governance groups for the audit project and assist with the coordination of NEIAA meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, and undertaking follow-up actions.
• To assist in the development of communications around the NEIAA project including with the Annual Report.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to encourage participation with the audit from Trusts and Health Boards.
• To support the project manager in the planning and smooth running of the NEIAA project plan.
