The role
The Corporate Partnerships team manage award-winning, long-term, strategic partnerships that raise more than £5m for the charity. Partnerships with household names, such as Asda, M&S and ghd, deliver both commercial results for our partners and benefit women and their families affected by breast cancer.
You will take the lead in designing and securing the next wave of strategic, long-term, high profile and high value (6 figure+) partnerships. You will take ownership over sectors, research and identify top prospects, and proactively approach and build relationships with Director level contacts of key companies.
You will work in a supportive, creative, and ambitious environment, managed by an experienced Head of Corporate Engagement and alongside a passionate and talented team.
Corporate Engagement is of huge importance to the charity and it is important to harness all available expertise, so we would expect you to liaise across the whole charity and to act as a role model for collaboration across our team and the charity.
About you
We need someone with a proven track record of securing 5 figure+ corporate partnerships. You will be ambitious, proactive, tenacious, and a commercially driven corporate fundraiser.
You will demonstrate experience of securing a variety of partnerships, including Charity of the Year, strategic, sponsorship or cause-related marketing campaigns - by establishing strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
You will need to be a great relationship builder with excellent public speaking and presentation skills. You will be results driven and highly organised, with an ability to monitor and prioritise potential opportunities in a fast-paced environment. An eye for spotting how a business can help a charity, or its beneficiaries, is key. A natural empathy for women and their families affected by breast cancer is essential.

The Role
SCIAF has an exciting opportunity to join our team as the permanent Content Production Officer. The role sits in the Marketing and Communications team and plays a vital role in helping us to gather and tell stories of change, primarily in support of our fundraising campaigns.
The post-holder will work closely with teams across the organisation, as well as our partner and sister organisations, and travel to visit SCIAF projects worldwide, in order to gather powerful stories and turn them into emotional and compelling content that captivates, inspires and compels action. They’ll focus on producing materials and content for fundraising appeals, campaigns and core supporter communications, as well as responding to humanitarian emergencies.
The role will be based in our Glasgow office, although you may be working from home initially.
Who we’re looking for
We’re seeking a strong and creative storyteller who can use their skills in writing, video production and design to produce powerful and engaging content that helps us to reach our ambitious goals – whether through fundraising, campaigning for political change or raising our brand profile. The role would suit someone with strong project management skills and experience managing content production processes from start to finish, working with a range of suppliers. As a small team, we are looking for a high-performing individual with initiative and enthusiasm, someone flexible and responsive, who can use creativity and strong problem-solving skills to help us reach our goals.
Safeguarding
The post-holder will travel overseas to less developed parts of the world as required and will therefore come into contact with children and vulnerable adults. SCIAF undertakes to ensure that all staff, volunteers and relevant others, whose work might involve contact with children, will have completed additional recruitment procedures and have obtained a satisfactory Enhanced PVG Check from Disclosure Scotland. We would also confirm that all staff are expected to adhere to a Code of Conduct, which specifies the attitudes and behaviour that all staff are expected to maintain.

We are looking for a Technology Information and Products Manager who can oversee the development of our technology services and play a lead role in raising awareness of products and technologies that can transform the lives of deaf children and young people.
The Enablement department have an exciting, fixed term opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative candidate who takes pride in sharing technology knowledge through high quality information products.
You’ll need a proven ability to maintain internal and external partnerships to stay fully informed of the needs and requirements of deaf children and young people – but also of new research and developments that could support those needs.
You’ll need to be highly organised and have the experience of co-ordinating a team to maintain consistently high levels of customer service.
This role is UK wide in its remit. Reasonable UK wide travel would be expected as part of this role as and when required.
