About the role
The Partnerships team is looking for a new member to join our team. You will be working with a variety of major trusts, foundations and statutory sources. This is an exciting opportunity that will enable you to develop your fundraising experience and skills whilst helping us to develop and deliver new initiatives.
Hybrid working with ability to travel to Twickenham Office and our Homes in High Wycombe, Solihull, Surbiton and Worthing.

Purpose of the role

Income generation
• Research, identify, and secure income from major and local trusts, foundations and statutory sources that align with our organisational priorities.
• Write compelling and persuasive funding applications, ensuring all required information is accurate and wellpresented.
• Maximise income through both unrestricted and restricted funding opportunities.
• Work closely with the Partnerships Manager to implement the trusts and statutory fundraising strategy effectively.
Donor stewardship and communication
• Provide excellent stewardship to all funders, ensuring reporting and communication requirements are met timely and professionally.
• Maintain and nurture strong relationships with funding organisations and bodies to secure long-term support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create impact reports and regular updates that bring our work to life
Finance and administration
• Track and report on income progress against targets, ensuring accurate records are maintained in the CRM system (Donorfy).
• Ensure all fundraising activities comply with relevant legislation and guidelines, including GDPR and safeguarding regulations.
• Support the Partnerships Manager with administrative tasks linked to applications, reporting, and compliance.
Other
• Stay informed of changes in statutory and trust fundraising landscapes, sharing insights with the team.
• Contribute to broader fundraising projects as required.
Person specification
Experience of:
• Securing income (five-figure gifts min) from Trusts, foundations and statutory sources.
• Writing successful funding applications with proven income generation.
• Building and maintaining relationships with funders to support long-term income streams.
• Using fundraising CRMs, ideally Donorfy, to track income and manage relationships.
Skills:

Our client offers a range of quality, exciting and inclusive short break clubs and activities across Surrey and West Sussex for children and young people aged 5-17 with a disability and additional needs. They are now looking to recruit 2 Senior Children's Disability Coordinators (one for Reigate/one for Epsom), to oversee the delivery of high quality, stimulating, safe services for a range of children and young people.
As Senior Disability Coordinator you will plan and deliver a structured programme of enjoyable, recreational, high-quality activities to meet the needs of children and young people with additional needs and disabilities who attend Short Breaks clubs. You will coordinate and take responsibility for the planning, allocation of places, and sufficient staffing to ensure safe delivery of Short Breaks clubs, and will assist in the recruitment, training and ongoing development of the Disability staff team. You will h ave responsibility for processing new referrals, initial assessments, individual care plans and any associated risk assessments or specialist plans to ensure individual needs are met.
This exciting and rewarding role will require a passion for working with SEND as well as excellent coordination skills to manage the delivery of high quality, stimulating, safe services. Job Purpose
By providing high quality governance and administrative support you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation. By supporting our Trustees and SMT you will improve our internal accountability and reduce the administrative burden on our senior team; freeing them to focus on organisational development, on building external relationships and pursuing opportunities which align with our strategy.
Key Tasks
Overseeing our Governance & Administration:
- You will organise and service the Trustee Board and Board Committee meetings, including agendas, minute-taking, follow-ups on actions, ensuring compliance with governing documents and charity law.
- Be the key contact for trustees, including overseeing their recruitment, induction and training.
- Better connect our governance and management processes through improving alignment of our Trustee and management reporting cycles and coordinating meetings and the delivery of Exec reports.
- Act as company secretary and ensure the Company House and Charity Commission websites are kept up to date.
Supporting our Executive team:
- Manage the CEO's diary, coordinate and prepare for SMT meetings, and monthly whole team meetings, maintain action logs, and provide proactive support in work planning.
- Lead on liaison with, and reports to, Age UK national. This will include coordinating visits and the collection of data.
- Develop and oversee our internal knowledge sharing systems
- Ensure our intranet is up to date and our new SharePoint file structure is maintained.

Additional Requirements

The Development Assistant is an essential part of the Cathedral’s fundraising function and provides important support to the team, streamlining processes, acting as a first point of contact and managing the fundraising database for the organisation.
As Development Assistant you will:

· Enhance the development team through robust administration processes and providing essential administrative support across all income streams, including administering the Cathedral’s Planned Giving scheme.
· Work with the Finance team to efficiently manage payment processes and administration and ensure timely acknowledgement of gifts.
· Support excellent donor engagement and stewardship through thank you letters, mailings, creation of literature and event co-ordination and support.
· Assist collating information and co-ordinating regular supporter communications across different channels to inspire people and demonstrate the impact of support.
· Deepen supporter relationships through accurately recording all income and activities on the Cathedral’s CRM system. Maximise the effectiveness of the CRM and keeping records up to date. (We are currently reviewing our systems, and this role will be instrumental in supporting implementation of any new systems.)
· Assist in the preparation and analysis of data and reports for use by the wider team to support future plans and activity.
· Amplify the prospecting work of the team by undertaking preliminary research and preparing briefing materials, in consultation with members of the team.
· Showcase the work of the Cathedral through supporting event organisation.
· Be keen to develop your fundraising skills and undertake relevant training and skills development to keep up to date with the changing requirements of the role.
· Support the team through additional duties as reasonably required to assist the smooth and efficient running of the Development Team and maximise the impact of the fundraising function. Some weekend and out of hours working may be required.

Finance
· Provide effective oversight of the day-to-day banking, invoicing, expenses and supplier payments on Sage accounting software.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Programme Development Manager represents an evolution from our Programme Manager role, focusing on shaping the future direction of The Avenues Youth Project's programmes whilst maintaining oversight of current delivery. This isn't just about managing what we do now, it's about looking ahead and designing what comes next.
Working closely with the Programme Director, you will be responsible for researching innovative approaches to youth work, developing funding proposals, and creating programmes that respond to the changing needs of young people aged 8-19. Job Summary: Coordinating and improving student democracy to ensure all student voices are heard and acted upon

Founded in 1897, LSE Students' Union is one of the oldest Students' Unions in the UK and is the representative and campaigning body for students at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Like other Students' Unions, it also funds and facilitates student activities of campus, including societies, sports clubs through the Athletics Union (AU), the Media Group and Raising and Giving (RAG) charitable fundraising initiatives.
About the job
LSESU is looking for someone who is highly organised and passionate about student experience to join our Student Voice Team. You will need to have a good eye for detail, a proactive approach, and be willing to get stuck into all aspects of student democracy. The successful candidate will support the Student Voice Team in the delivery of LSESU’s democratic processes, and lead on key projects such as our annual elections.
This role will involve supporting with a variety of tasks, including liaising with key stakeholders, engagement and outreach planning, and database administration. This is the ideal opportunity for someone with an ability to work collaboratively with people, and a passion for delivering high quality opportunities for membership engagement.

We are looking for a highly motivated team player who is passionate about delivering change within a dynamic and democratic organisation. The successful candidate will have great communication skills and will be able to work with a variety of stakeholders. An interest in democratic procedure and processes, a commitment to equality and diversity, and an ability to handle politically sensitive situations, are all key to the successful delivery of this role.
Further to the above, we’re also looking for someone who is proficient in both Microsoft Office, and various social media platforms, and who holds excellent time management skills.
