About the Role

We are seeking an organised and proactive International Programmes Manager to support the Head of Programmes in delivering and growing our international operations. You will oversee programme delivery through international field partners and branch offices, ensure reporting and payment schedules are met, and contribute to the development of policies, processes, and strategic partnerships.

This role includes line management of the International Programmes Officer, ensuring clarity of objectives, high-quality outputs, and timely delivery. You will also play a key role in troubleshooting operational challenges, building strong partner relationships, and improving our frameworks for efficiency, accountability, and impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with field partners and branch offices to remain up to date with events on the ground.

Person Specification

Essential

• Degree in a relevant field.
• 3 or more years’ experience managing international NGO programmes.
• Staff management experience: 1–2 years supervising teams.
• Proven ability to track spending, approve reports, and use calculation frameworks.
• Experience troubleshooting field-level issues (logistics, procurement, compliance).
• Track record in donor reporting/report checking/approval.

Founded in the aftermath of the Second World War, Cumberland Lodge works with young people to understand the causes and impacts of social conflict and division, developing the next generation of leaders to create more just and inclusive futures. As we approach our 80th anniversary we have ambitious plans to scale up our activities and are looking for an experienced Fundraising Officer with strong storytelling skills and a passion for making a difference.

This is a permanent part-time role, two days a week. The successful candidate will join a thriving organisation as part of a small Programme team under the leadership of the Programme Director.

We are seeking to appoint a strong team player who can also work independently, who is well-organised, with excellent communication and inter-personal skills. They must be able to demonstrate success in fund-raising, and have strong knowledge of the fund-raising landscape in the UK, and preferably internationally. A background of funding raising for education or youth sector organisations would also be desirable.

Job description

Main Duties:

Funding Development

Research and identify funding opportunities aligned with Cumberland Lodge programmes.

· Write compelling, youth and/or education focused funding applications and proposals.

Relationship Management

· Build and maintain strong relationships with funders.

· Provide timely updates, reports, and impact stories.

Person specification

Essential Criteria:

· A track record of securing five-figure grants or more from trusts, foundations and other donors;

· Knowledge of the fundraising landscape in the UK;

· Excellent communications skills, verbal and written, for a range of audiences, including creative storytelling and project framing;

· Ability to analyse and synthesise research and data into compelling reports and funding applications;

· Ability to develop full cost recovery budgets and carry out all compliant financial reporting;

· Ability to carry out all grant management reporting accurately and in a timely manner, with knowledge of GDPR-compliant data management;

· Ability to work independently, being proactive, organised and results-driven, while maintaining an ethos of collaboration and teamwork;

· Excellent time-keeping and ability to meet deadlines;

Desirable Criteria:

Further information

Hours: 14 hours per week (through an annualised hours working pattern).

Location: Remote working although the successful candidate will be expected to work from Cumberland Lodge a minimum of one day per month.  Applicants should be aware that Cumberland Lodge is not easily accessible by public transport, so alternative forms of transport (bicycle, car) are helpful.

Annual leave: 33 days including Bank Holidays which will be pro-rata. The charity is closed over the Christmas period which will be deducted from the leave allocation.

Pension: Standard Life contributory pension (up to 10% contributions to support 5% personal contributions, with the option to increase personal contributions over and above 5%).

About the role:

In September 2024, National Numeracy launched a new ‘Schools & Families’ programme to support Primary School staff, parents and carers in increasing pupils’ confidence with numbers, positive feelings about maths, and awareness of the value of maths outside of the classroom. Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.

Overall job purpose

The future of CCT’s outstanding collection of historic churches depends on us supporting communities around our churches caring for, opening, using and raising money for them. About the Role

We are looking to hire a skilled and engaging Education Officer to join a busy team, supporting the implementation and expansion of an established educational outreach programme, which reaches children in Scotland and Northern England.

At present, this post has funding for three years from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, 1.5 years of which is now complete and we are looking for someone to deliver the second 1.5 years of the project.

The purpose of the role is to extend passion and knowledge of beavers into communities around Britain, to engage and enthuse young people and to reconnect (or reinforce) their love of nature. Using and tailoring current materials and resources, you will do so by delivering high-quality learning sessions within schools, community groups or virtual training sessions, sometimes delivered in conjunction with beaver site partners and their education teams.

You will also be responsible for supporting wider aspects of the programme together with the Education Team, according to the requirements for each country and in partnership with relevant organisations

Key responsibilities include:

· Deliver a range of exciting, curriculum-linked workshops, non-curriculum home education talks, school and group sessions associated with beaver release sites.

· Run regional events and outreach activities to expand engagement in beaver education.

· Network and build contacts and relationships with key personnel in schools, youth groups and community groups in order to create engagement with the education programme and expand its reach.

· Support the development of further resources, activities and events specific to the country and region, and deliver existing activities for group learning.

· Monitor, collate and report on work carried out, toward learning goals and impact reporting, coordinated by the Senior Education Officer to support the programme evaluation.

· Support volunteers and build capacity working with partner site staff in the delivery of beaver education programmes.

About You

· A foundation degree level or equivalent in a zoology, biology or conservation-related field, OR; A teaching/education qualification or equivalent experience in teaching, using different delivery methods including virtual delivery. We are looking for an individual with experience of working in a leadership role with a board of Trustees, ideally with hands-on experience in grant-making and grant management, including managing a portfolio of live grant-holders.Strong financial and budgetary management skills are also desirable, in particular to reduce the Charity’s reliance on the Voluntary Treasurer.

The Trustees wish to appoint an individual who has a demonstrable understanding of, and commitment to, supporting the mental health and wellbeing of Children and Young People.The role will include upholding the charity’s vision, values and strategic focus, including championing equality, diversity and inclusion across our work.

The appointment is currently offered on a part-time basis of 3 days per week, with the potential to be extended in future.Candidates should note that The Pixel Fund does not have a permanent base and almost all activity is conducted online (including grant management). 

Hours and place of work are flexible, but as all Trustees are based in the South-East of England, that location is desirable. The successful applicant will be required to attend all Trustee meetings (around 7 a year), which are generally held in the evening (usually online, but occasionally in person) and some travel will be necessary to visit grant holders and other stakeholders.

The Pixel Fund (Charitable Incorporated Organisation No. 1191052) is a small charity that makes grants to support improvement in the mental health and wellbeing of Children and Young People.Since we were first established in 2011, we have distributed more than £1.5million to UK registered charities.We have a preference for supporting projects, but do also fund core costs.The work of the Trust, including all grant-making, is currently overseen by three experienced Trustees, together with a Voluntary Treasurer and a part-time Administrator.

This role combines essential Salesforce administration skills with a hands-on data management. While you'll need strong Salesforce technical capabilities for system configuration, user management, and troubleshooting, much of your day-to-day work will involve processing and maintaining supporter data. What You'll Do

Salesforce Administration:

• Manage Salesforce CRM including user management, permissions, system configuration, and security
• Deploy updates, maintain custom fields and flows, and ensure data integrity
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues

Data Management & Processing:

• Process and maintain data from multiple external platforms and income sources
• Keep supporter records up to date including addresses, direct debit details, and preferences
• Conduct regular data quality checks, error correction, and reconciliation processes

Reporting & Analytics:

• Generate data reports and create dashboards for management and teams
• Extract and compile data for mailings, campaigns, and impact reporting

Technology & Innovation:

• Support implementation of AI integration (Dataro) and evaluate new Salesforce features

The Degrees Initiative is a UK-based NGO that builds the capacity of developing countries to evaluate solar radiation modification (SRM), a controversial proposal for reducing some impacts of climate change by reflecting sunlight away from the Earth. Degrees is neutral on whether SRM should ever be used, but we believe that developing countries should be empowered to conduct their own research and to play a central role in SRM discussions.

Degrees’ programmatic work is centred on capacity-building through research grants and North–South and South–South collaboration schemes, outreach activities, and cross-cutting community building. As part of this, Degrees runs workshops in the Global South that bring new voices into the SRM conversation, and our research funds support scientists and other experts in developing countries as they research what SRM could mean for their regions and become part of a global research community.

The Administrative Officer role offers a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to help scale up the organisation’s work, building on the successes of the last decade, and to help the most climate-vulnerable countries make up their own minds about SRM. 

Joining a growing team, the Administrative Officer will support the Policy Engagement and Programmes teams through the provision of administrative services to ensure the efficient organisation of, execution of, and participation in events. Secondarily, the Officer will provide general administrative support to the Policy Engagement team. 

The Administrative Officer will work under the supervision of the Policy Engagement Director, while supporting the Policy Engagement Managers and the Programmes team. Responsibilities will include: 

• Arranging travel, lodging and other travel logistics for Degrees staff, funded scientists, policymakers, and other external participants; 
• Managing the policy engagement events budgets;
• Arranging meeting facilities; 
• Facilitating requests for visas and other travel authorisations; 
• Serving as a point of contact for external event participants’ queries about travel and events; 
• Ensuring proper distribution of information documents and meeting minutes in a timely manner;
• Drafting general and formal correspondence; reviewing and formatting documents and slides according to style;
• Organising and maintaining the policy engagement team’s shared mailbox and filing system;
• Scheduling staff and other meetings;
