As Supporter Engagement Officer you’ll play a key role in helping us to engage new and existing supporters as well as helping to deliver first-class stewardship to retain support and build trust. In addition you will develop appeals and communications that engage and inform supporters which help to raise more voluntary income.
Directly supporting the Direct Marketing and Legacy Manager and working closely with all of the Supporter Engagement team it would be beneficial if you have previous experience or an interest in Fundraising. Being a confident communicator with a “can-do” approach is essential as well as being able to demonstrate proven administrative skills, the ability to manage a varied workload and be highly organised.
We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working. Please note that all employees are contractually required to work from the office a minimum of 4 days a month.

Overview / purpose of the role
We’re looking for a Finance & Operations Assistant who is interested in developing a career in bookkeeping and/or accountancy within the nonprofit sector. No previous experience is required, just lots of passion and a motivation to pursue a long-term career in charity finance. The successful candidate will undertake training with the AAT (funded by us) towards a bookkeeping qualification alongside working as our Finance & Operations Assistant, you will be given some time to study during your working hours for this qualification.
The Finance & Operations Assistant is a central resource within CGP, working with colleagues in the Operations Team, and across the organisation to provide financial and operational support to all areas of our work. They will work closely with the Head of Operations & Evaluation to process invoices, expenses and conduct weekly payment runs, ensuring that all financial policies and procedures are carefully adhered to. They will also support colleagues to follow our financial policies and processes and act as the first point of contact for any questions on these procedures. Additionally, they will provide general administrative and operational support to colleagues as outlined in the below job description.
We do not require the successful candidate to have any particular/specific formal qualifications, you may have just finished education or be looking for a change in career, what you will need is excellent attention to detail and a strong interest in developing a finance career with us.

Responsibilities
Finance
● Managing our accounts payable inbox, monitoring all incoming invoices and following up with team members on any missing information if required
● Processing and coding invoices in Xero accounting software ahead of weekly payment runs
● Checking that correct coding and approval procedures are followed for staff expenses in Soldo
● Conducting weekly payment runs via our online banking system
● Coordinating our monthly payroll processes (working with external providers)
● Working with the Head of Operations & Evaluation and Director of Finance to support the development of funding proposals
● Working with the Head of Operations & Evaluation and Director of Finance to support financial reporting on grants for external donors
● Supporting the Head of Operations & Evaluation and Director of Finance with general financial administration, record keeping and tracking budgets
● Provide training on expense and invoicing processes to new members of staff and generally acting as the first point of contact for all staff on any finance procedure questions (full training will be provided)

Person specification
The right candidate is less likely to be defined by their qualifications and prior experience, but will be someone who meets the below criteria, and is ready to learn. They will have an aptitude for maths and finance, excellent attention to detail and a meticulous, methodical approach to work and troubleshooting.

An exciting opportunity has come up to join the Community Fundraising team at Cystic Fibrosis Trust. You will be joining a dynamic community fundraising team at an exciting period of growth in our fundraising programme. You will be organised and a great relationship builder, with excellent communications skills which you will use to engage and help to deliver the best fundraising support.
You will work along side the Community Development and Fundraising Manager and the Digital and Social Community Fundraiser and be responsible for providing a high level of administrative and triage support for Community Fundraising activity, with specific responsibility for accurate data inputting and exceptional initial stewardship of community fundraising supporters.
Our current fundraising activities vary to include a wide range of supporter led events (Team CF [1]), ranging from football tournaments to bake sales, silent discos, balls and more. You will also support in the delivery of our fundraising campaigns with a key focus on Wear Yellow Day [2] and Festive fundraising [3].
The Community Fundraising team all work from home and regularly keep in touch with weekly online team meetings, individual catchups as required, as well as in person meetings throughout the year. This role would suit someone who is passionate about relational fundraising, is extremely organised and can work both on their own and in a team.
Typical responsibilities in the role are:
- To triage and respond to incoming enquiries, material requests and bookings via phone & email, efficiently and accurately.
- To ensure the management of accurate supporter records/bookings for key community events using third party external sites such as Enthuse to support this

We are looking for a Charity Shop Manager to cover shifts in both of the Harington Charity Shops in North London. The Charity Shop Manager (Cover) role, will be guaranteed 8.5 hours a week in our Hornsey charity shop. In addition to this there may be other variable hours over and above this, where they will be asked to provide cover when the Charity Shop Managers or Shop Assistants are on leave at either the Archway or Hornsey Charity Shops. We are looking for a new team member to provide full administrative and programme support to the Employment & Careers team. Bonny Downs Community Association has been working together to change lives and transform our community since 1998. Over the past 25 years our team has grown to provide a wide array of services that benefit Newham residents from all walks of life.
This role is specifically funded through the Youth Endowment fund as a pilot project ‘Thriving Communities’. Staff from each organisation will work together to deliver the programme and cross-refer young people to activities led by both teams. Boutique by Shelter is a series of charity shops with interiors designed by Wayne Hemingway bringing a modern, trendy retail space to the high street. Our first boutique shop opened in Finchley Road and due to its success, we have opened a number of new shops across London. You will be pivotal in assisting the Shop Manager in leading and empowering a team of volunteers to engage with the local community on Shelter's cause, maximising the contribution of gifts of time from volunteers, the gifts of products from our donors and the gift of income from our customers. You will be the ambassador of Shelter on the high street; raising vital money for our cause. You will assist the Shop Manager in the recruitment, support and development of a strong community focused shop team and empower them to maximise Shelter's income. Representing Shelter in your local community, ensuring that you and your team share your knowledge of Shelter's cause with customers, volunteers, donors and potential Shelter clients will also be important aspects of the role. You will always ensure a safe, clean, bright and happy environment for your team to work in and for your customers to shop in, in turn attracting potential donors and volunteers.

Who we are looking for:
A Permanent Customer Relations and Sales Officer to work as part of a centralised sales team, which leads all Autism Know How sales, logistic and customer support enquiries.
Managing all aspects of the customer sales journey, this role will lead and deliver an effective, timely and professional customer journey and experience, maximising income potential and repeat business to ensure performance against team sales targets and to enable the society to continue to improve its offering for autistic people.
This role will work closely with colleagues across Autism Know How, Marketing, CRM and Business Development departments, and other relevant NAS teams where required.
This role will also deliver general administration and data processing as required.

The role of the Senior Digital Marketing Executive is to ensure we provide a great supporter experience to any person, company or organisation who donates to the Epilepsy Society and to help the fundraising and marketing teams increase our number of supporters and fundraisers through digital acquisition.
As part of the Charity’s in-house marketing agency, you will support in responding to briefs from other departments and work closely with their teams to create and deliver marketing plans which deliver on revenue and strategic priorities. You will also work closely with multiple stakeholders, including our digital agency and the other teams within the Fundraising and Marketing Department and the wider organisation.
This role involves supporting various digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, content creation, and data analytics. The postholder will be responsible for a range of tasks to support the efficient and effective running of a fundraising and marketing team dealing directly with donors at all levels to ensure they have the best donor experience. We need someone to help us to reach new people online, drive income and build an enhanced online supporter experience.

Main responsibilities will include:
Administration
- Be responsible for securing contracts by confirming booking information and working with the Head of Budgets, Contracts & Policy to ensure freelance trainer contracts and Service Agreements are in place

- Ensure all finance and operations processes and procedures are rigorously implemented in collaboration with the Finance & Operations team
- Produce budget forecasts for APD and provide monthly updates on current financial position to the Deputy CEO and Head of Budgets, Contracts & Policy
- Chase debtors and regularly report any overdue payments to the Finance team
Strategy
- Contribute to the APD growth strategy through ideas and practical solutions
- Work with the APD team and Deputy CEO in the development of new programmes, routes to market and audience development
Communications

The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the Content Team within the Marketing & Communications Department, overseeing delivery of the content framework, using evaluation and measurement to enable strategic and creative development so Battersea’s content output achieves brand, marketing and organisational objectives.

• Oversee strategic delivery against the content framework, supporting the team in effective implementation and measurement
