About the Role
The Programme Administrator will organise exciting programmes across St Hilda’s East which improve the lives of the whole community, including children and young people, adults and older people. The Programme Administrator will support the Head of Programme Development in planning, delivering and reporting across all St Hilda’s programmes.

The Latin Programme
The Latin Programme is a small educational charity working with primary state schools across London to embed high-quality, inventive Latin lessons into the curriculum.
Every year, our Latin teachers deliver our transformative programme to thousands of pupils from KS2-4, providing them with the tools they need to unlock a rich and fascinating ancient language.

The Opportunity
The Latin Programme is an entrepreneurial charity which functions like a start up. What we are looking for in our Programme Design Officer:
Experience of creating activities for young people, of diverse backgrounds, preferably on a regional or national level. This doesn’t have to be Scouts, and we’re interested in experience from other areas of youth work
Experience of delivering activities in the youth sector, preferably to young people of Black, Asian and other minority ethnic backgrounds, or in underserved areas or with different learning needs. Interested in experience overseas
Experience of researching, consulting with people of different backgrounds, and collaborating on ideas with others
Experience of working with agile methodologies (or any other collaborative, flexible, creative ways)

JOB SUMMARY:
Day-to-day Headquarters liaison for assigned country programs advocating for the needs of the program within the organization and coordinate communications between all departments, including compliance, programming, logistics, legal, security, human resource and communication.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Day to day coordination of proposals, donor reporting process for assigned countries.
- Support dissemination of country specific information with relevant departments. Support with any country specific reporting requirements from other departments and vice versa. Regularly deploys to the field to assist in startup, staff coverage, and close out
- Monitor grant performance and overall assigned country portfolio and flag any issue to the Program Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Typically, a Bachelor's degree in related area. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

King’s Global Health Partnerships (KGHP) aims to improve health outcomes in four African countries– Sierra Leone, Somaliland, Zambia and DR Congo – working with local partners and drawing on the skills of volunteers from the NHS and King’s College London.
The Programme Officer plays a key role in supporting programme delivery, with a focus on the Somaliland and DR Congo partnerships. In Somaliland, KGHP is working together with local partners to address Somaliland’s health workforce crisis by transforming the health education and training of doctors, nurses and midwives. In DR Congo, the focus is on developing a trauma system and improving clinical care in the province of Kongo Central. Working at individual, institutional and national levels, both partnerships seek to bring about systemic and sustainable reform to the health sector.
The role will be responsible for ensuring dedicated programme staff and NHS volunteers are well-supported and able to deliver programme activities. The postholder will support the smooth running of the programme, supporting volunteer experts to deliver an extensive portfolio of activities to strengthen the health system and improve the quality of care in fragile countries. The postholder will also have a responsibility to support grant management, proposal development and logistics as required.
This role is based in London but there will be opportunities to travel to DR Congo and Somaliland.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 1 year (with possibility to extend)

Key responsibilities
• Lead on the engagement and recruitment of volunteers for our Somaliland and DRC partnerships, ensuring that opportunities are advertised via agreed external and internal channels, responding to enquiries and organising recruitment interviews
• Lead the on-boarding process for volunteers, ensuring that they have timely and comprehensive information about their assignment via a structured induction; organising travel and logistics; liaising with security and logistics partners as necessary, and ensuring that standards around safeguarding and occupational health are met prior to engagement
• Ensure that volunteer data is stored safely and securely and that details are kept up to date, in order to support knowledge management, future recruitment, and performance monitoring. Support the development and roll out of an electronic platform for volunteer management
• Provide finance and administrative support to the DRC and Somaliland partnerships, leading on procurement, and ensuring that payments to partners and contractors are made in a timely fashion
• Support monitoring of fundraising opportunities, pipeline tracking and the gathering and sharing of intelligence on funders.
• Work with the Programme Manager to develop, design and write funding proposals, concept notes and budgets
• Provide support to grant management, notably in the area of expenditure tracking, donor reporting, collating background information and analysis, liaising with MEL and Finance colleagues for high quality narrative and financial reporting
• Support programme management meetings (including meetings with partners and Volunteer Specialist Groups), documenting and disseminating information, and responding to information requests from colleagues, partners and volunteers
• Support implementation of the KGHP communication plan, working with the Senior Communications Officer to produce engaging and informative internal and external communications and support dissemination of impact

We are waiting to move to our new office space so for now we are home working when we do not have an in person event. When we have an in person event, you will be expected to attend to help run the inspirational visits. Most of our events are city / west end based but some are further out.

About the role:
To partner with the Youth Programme and Content Manager to co-ordinate and host an inspirational and impactful programme experience for the RF young people, with the ultimate aim of becoming the leading programme of choice. This role is focused on the smooth delivery and development of the existing programme to support growing numbers of young people, ensuring regular impact measurement points are met. Additionally, focus will also be on ensuring that safeguarding frameworks are adhered to as well as developing the range and scope of referral partnerships, current and new.

Your key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Programme
- Work with your manager to plan, create and deliver positive and engaging experiences for the CYP , following the agreed yearly timetable
- Delivery of semi-formal learning experiences through workshops to develop CYPs soft skills
- Facilitate workshops in a variety of settings (e.g. digital, at RF’s Hub and other venues)
- Liaise frequently with CYP throughout their time at RF utilising the most effective methods of communication (in person, telephone calls, messaging, email, etc)
- Point of contact with CYP families in order to ensure CYP are fully engaged with the programme
- Onboard new joiners to the RF programme, with the support of the wider RF team
- Informally mentor and support individual young people if they are going through a particularly challenging time
- Develop new referral partnerships with schools, hospitals and partner agencies and maintain good relationships with existing referral partners, looking for opportunities to develop these relationships as appropriate
- Deputise for your manager as and when required
Data and Reporting
- Collate programme data in a timely fashion, ensuring it is accurate and up to date at all times
