We are looking for a vibrant outward thinking and dynamic Project Co-ordinator who is self motivated and can work with minimal supervision on an exciting project that will provide evidence and information for future funding applications.
Overall Purpose of the role:
The Project Co-ordinator will be responsible for liaison with the Project Team and consultants on the delivery of a number of studies and activities as part of a National Lottery Heritage Fund award.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Role Specific
· New Jetty Project
- Lead on the New Jetty Project reporting to the Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager
- Revising project work plans for the Jetty Project as appropriate, to meet changing needs and requirements with Management Team.
- Business Plan and Feasibility Study
- Supporting Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager on managing the day-to-day operational aspects of The National Lottery Heritage Fund resilience project.
- Ensuring the Management Team keeps to schedules and agreed project plan.
- Collect and organise data that is required for Management Team and Consultants
- Monitor expenses ensuring budgets are not overspent.
- Keeping details of all budgets.
· To create and maintain a log of work records, in an agreed way, ensuring all tasks are undertaken within pre defined time parameters
· Maintaining an online filing system for all elements of work plan
· Scheduling and attending meetings where required.
· Being the key point of contact for The National Lottery Heritage Fund
· Manage own diary and annualised hours contract.
· Update Social Media as requested.
General:
· Be proactive in identifying and reporting all activities.
Key Skills
• 1-3 years’+ experience within a project coordinator, or junior project co-ordinator role
• Experience in multitasking with and managing multiple projects.
• Attention to detail for ensuring the project meets all the business' standards and goals.
• Strong administrative skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.

It’s life changing and challenging raising children who’ve been hurt or neglected, but kinship carers do it anyway because they put the children first.
Kinship have been awarded funding from the Department for Education to deliver the first ever national training programme to support kinship carers in their caring role. We are at the start of that journey.
About the role:
Kinship are seeking to recruit experienced event co-ordinators with a whole range of skills and great energy to join our brand-new training team. They will be responsible for delivering this first ever programme of its type supporting kinship carers across England in their caring role.
As a pivotal part of the team, you’ll be supporting delivery of high-quality in-person and online training events across England. You’ll be the first point of contact for the team and be experienced and responsive in dealing with enquiries. You’ll be used to working with suppliers and have proven experience of planning, co-ordinating and supporting the delivery of large events. You’ll bring significant working experience of using Microsoft tools, and other platforms and technology including Zoom. You’ll have a positive, can-do approach and the ability to work with initiative, being curious and always thinking ahead to anticipate need and deal with issues.
Collaboration will be key to your approach, and you’ll be detail orientated and be great at managing your time and priorities, and working to consistently high standards. You’ll plan, co-ordinate and support the successful delivery of all our online and in-person events, including being available and involved as needed on site.
In this role, you’ll travel across England and may have overnight stays from time to time. We offer training and support to enable you to be successful in your role and we’re happy to discuss requirements if you have kinship caring responsibilities.

The Peer Support Coordinator will play a critical role in the delivery of Day One's Peer Support Service. The primary objectives are to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to our beneficiaries; to develop our regional peer support model; and to facilitate a positive volunteering experience for our lived experience volunteer team. Responsibilities will include the day-to-day coordination of peer support activity. This will involve sensitive communication with trauma-affected individuals to understand their needs and preferences, using this information to facilitate suitable peer support matches.
The postholder will contribute to building a diverse volunteer team by supporting the volunteer recruitment and induction processes. They will offer ongoing support, guidance and motivation to our volunteers, ensuring meaningful opportunities to engage with Day One. The postholder will support the Peer Support Manger to conduct regular reviews with volunteers to gather feedback on their experiences as well as supporting their personal and professional development.
The Peer Support Co-ordinator will monitor service delivery and volunteer activity to ensure it is operating within agreed policies and processes. To ensure we can evidence the success and quality of the service, a key aspect of the role will involve keeping accurate records of interventions as well as collecting regular evaluation/impact data and personal case studies.
You will be a compassionate individual, dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of support for our beneficiaries and volunteers alike. You will be empathic with strong active listening skills, able to demonstrate sensitivity and discretion in your communication with trauma-affected individuals. You will be adept at identifying individual’s support needs and have strong social/communication skills enabling you to facilitate appropriate and meaningful peer support matches. Possessing excellent organisational skills, you will thrive in the fast-paced and reactive environment of peer support service delivery.
You will be committed to maintaining high standards and have a keen eye for detail able to keep accurate records of interventions and collect evaluation/impact data with regularity. Additionally, you will have a proactive approach to building and supporting a diverse volunteer team. You will be a ‘people-person’, enjoy speaking with others, and have the knowledge and confidence to offer ongoing guidance and motivation to our volunteer team. Your ability to conduct regular reviews to gather feedback to support volunteers' personal and professional development will be essential in driving the continued success of our peer support service. - Be responsible for service key performance indicators (KPIs), governance, leading on design and delivery of training to volunteers, and proactively managing the quality of our services.
- Alongside the Team Leader of our Support Line, act as a safeguarding lead, ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed and staff and volunteers receive the support that they need to deal with difficult situations.
