The Executive Management Administration team of 5, headed by the MD, run the organisation on a day-to-day basis. The team is supported by the REB board and committees, together with 3rd party providers for accounting, payroll, banking, media & public relations, website hosting and IT services.

Role and Responsibilities

DUE TO THE INCREASE IN REB MEMBERSHIPS, NETWORKS AND ACTIVITIES, AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY CROSSING BOTH ADMIN AND EVENTS SUPPORT, IS BEING RECRUITED.

TIME AND WORKLOAD WOULD BE DIVIDED BETWEEN BOTH ADMIN AND EVENTS SUPPORT AT AN AGREED SPLIT, BASED ON BUSINESS NEEDS.

Key Tasks –

Admin Assistant Role

· Work with the MD to provide services to the Board, the Patrons Group and Network of Networks (where required) including:

o Booking meeting rooms

o Setting meeting dates and sending calendar invitations (For MD and Executive team on an ad hoc basis)

o Circulating agenda & papers

o Attending meetings and taking minutes, predominantly with MD- both in person and virtually

o Maintaining the Terms of Reference

o Updating Board

o Main point of contact for Next Gen and NofN  committees -updating membership on the CRM and webpages for both and attending meetings

o Provide admin support to MD as required including setting up meetings, preparing presentation slides and uploading meeting notes to Sharepoint

Events Assistant Role:

· Support the Events Administrator in the delivery of the REB events programme including:

o Event logistics planning and delivery

o Venue liaison

o Contributor liaison

o Event marketing and booking support

o Event materials preparation

o Event set up and set down

o Maintaining CRM records

o Supporting with event comms and marketing on Dynamics Marketing system and website

The Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA) is the national charity for people affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom.

CLAPA supports people affected by cleft to take control of their journey, connect with others, and use their voices to impact the future of care. Our vision is that no one affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom will go through their journey alone.

We are seeking a Fundraising Coordinator (Individual Giving) to join our small but dynamic Fundraising team.

The role requires excellent donor care and stewardship skills. All forms of communication will be required including the proactive use of digital channels such as the website and social media platforms.

The Individual Giving Fundraiser will play a vital role in increasing income from our existing supporters. You will support donor acquisition as well as taking the lead on retention of our supporters across multiple channels including cash appeals, regular giving, lottery and in celebration giving. The role will also support the Head of Income in the delivery of a legacy and major donor program.

You will develop and deliver excellent stewardship programmes that drive retention by deepening audience understanding of the challenges that people affected by cleft face and the impact that their donations make. Using data and insight, you’ll deliver compelling campaigns, with people affected by cleft right at the centre. Join our dedicated regional team of 12 staff and 180 volunteers working towards the vision of ‘No More Victims’ of sexual abuse.

About Circles South West

We are an award winning independent charity providing services that prevent sexual re-offending by people who have sexually harmed, as well as support services for non-offending partners, family and friends impacted.  Our core service is Circles of Support and Accountability; a ‘Circle’ is a small group of local volunteers who assist the safe integration of an individual who has sexually harmed, meeting with them over a year or more. Working closely with responsible statutory agencies we provide a complementary risk management approach, making communities safer. Informed by our practice expertise, our training and consultancy for professionals is designed to enhance skills, knowledge and understanding in order that they can more effectively engage with people who sexually harm and contribute more widely to the prevention of sexual abuse.

With experience of working with adults convicted of sexual offences, you understand how local communities can support risk management and be committed to the safe integration in the community of people who have sexually harmed. You will be skilled in the management and support of volunteers, the critical success factor for Circles. As an Area Manager you will give leadership, direction and guidance to the staff of Medaille Trust to ensure the provision and development of a high quality service in line with the Trust’s Mission, Values and Strategy.

You will have a good understanding of the CQC framework relating to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.  You will carry out quarterly assurance audits in all safe houses ensuring any appropriate action is taken where necessary.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to build their corporate partnerships career. The nature of our work means that there are significant opportunities to develop existing and new relationships that we have with companies and create transformational corporate partnerships that change the lives of the young adults with learnign disabilities and/or autism that we support. This work is also delivering real change within company culture.

Fundraised income has grown rapidly over the last three years, focusing mainly on income from trusts and foundations. We are now looking to diversify the strategy and have created this new role to take forward opportunities with companies. This new role will support the Director of Development in shaping and implementing the next phase of DFN Project SEARCH’s fundraising strategy and will lead on the development of major new corporate partnerships. They will also lead on the development and management of a small number of existing corporate relationships and sponsorship opportunities.

To support the development of this new element of our strategy we have been working with a leading corporate partnerships consultancy. They have been helping to develop our proposition for companies, developing our strategies for approaching individual company prospects, and will be available to support you in your role when you start in post.
