Co-ordinator (Full-time)

We are looking for a non-judgmental, compassionate individual who would fit into our passionate team.

Purpose of the Role

Manage and support a caseload of volunteers to empower vulnerable families in giving their children the best start in life, occasionally providing direct support.  Contribute to volunteer recruitment, training, development, and the effective day-to-day operation of the organisation

Key Responsibilities. As a HSH Co-ordinator you will:

• Carry out initial home-visits and support families to set and monitor goals
• Match volunteers with families according to need and capacity
• Assess the suitability and complexity of referrals, liaise with referrers for additional information, and support onward referrals
• Supervise an appropriate caseload of volunteers and enable them to support families
• Monitor safeguarding concerns and liaise with the Operations Manager/Director as needed
• Contribute to the delivery of the Volunteer Preparation Courses
• Contribute to recruiting, selecting and preparing suitable volunteers
• Support the evaluation of the impact of HSH’s volunteering programme and family support
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key health partners, including those from Parent Infant Mental Health Teams, Midwifery, IAPT, Perinatal Teams, Health Visiting and other groups

Headway is seeking a passionate and driven Individual Giving Fundraiser to join our Fundraising Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting people affected by brain injury by helping us grow and nurture our individual donor base.

About the Role

You will lead on managing and developing our portfolio of individual donors, including Friends of Headway members, regular givers and cash appeal donors, and in-memory supporters. Working closely with the Director of Fundraising and the Marketing Manager, you’ll deliver engaging campaigns, strengthen donor relationships, and help us meet vital income targets.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work closely with the Vice President of International Fundraising and senior department staff, as well as key contractors and vendors, to identify short- and long-term fundraising goals, objectives, and metrics, and effective strategies to meet those goals

• Work with all department staff to ensure strong morale, effective team building, and intradepartmental communications

• Work with staff members to create a work environment conducive to creativity, cooperation, and “best practices”

• Work with PETA and other PETA entities to increase online and e-mail donations, direct-mail and telemarketing donations, prize-led fundraising, and net income

• Support the Vice President of International Fundraising to develop and implement strategies to solicit major gift income and planned gifts for PETA and other PETA entities

• Serve as a liaison between PETA US' Policy and Marketing departments and the PETA Foundation's (US) Production, Legal, and IT departments for all direct-response fundraising projects and content, including privacy, technology, and design issues

• Ensure that all international direct-response fundraising efforts are streamlined and coordinated to make the best use of resources and minimise duplication of efforts

• Identify new technologies, fundraising programs, staffing requirements, and strategies to boost net income across the department and the organisation

• Work with the PETA Foundation's (US) Development team to coordinate and integrate fundraising campaigns globally

• Provide back-up and support as requested by the Vice President of International Fundraising

The role:

Administration of the Membership and Workforce Board of Council

• Lead on administration of the Membership and Workforce Board of Council and its sub-committees, including setting meeting dates, sending invitations, preparing papers, taking minutes and actions, and dealing with queries.
• Supporting with actions arising from the Board, including supporting the development of projects and programmes as directed by the Board.

Administration of key workforce processes  

• To act as the main point of contact for clinicians looking to recruit new SRH professionals

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Communications and Policy Influencing Lead to spearhead the implementation of the Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub (RSH) communications and policy influencing strategy globally. The position will shape and oversee the programme’s global communications and policy influencing strategies, ensuring coherence across national and global levels.

This role is central to translating strategy into action at national and global levels: working closely with country teams, donors, civil society, and survivor-led organisations to strengthen prevention, accountability, and justice frameworks. The role will align communications outputs to influencing and other strategic goals and making sure national and global work connects. The programme will support teams across Bangladesh, Jordan, Pakistan and Syria, as well as other countries still to be decided. 

About the Programme

The Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub (RSH) is a programme that aims to support organisations in the aid sector to strengthen their safeguarding policy and practice against Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Sexual Harassment (SEAH). RSH supports organisations working in both the humanitarian and development sectors and is driven by the needs of smaller national or local organisations in developing countries.The programme is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) until 2030.

About the Role

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps of Lebanon. 

MAP seeks a Head of Logistics Systems and Training to lead the development and implementation of standardized logistics policies, procedures, and tools (excluding procurement). This role is central to ensuring that logistics systems are fit-for-purpose, efficient, compliant, and supportive of MAP’s medical aid delivery across the occupied Palestinian territory and Lebanon. A key focus will be on staff capacity building and field support to ensure high-quality logistics practices aligned with medical and humanitarian standards. 

About You

You are an experienced humanitarian logistician who enjoys designing and building systems, ways of working, and governance to support more effective logistics processes and function. You have a broad range of expertise across warehousing, transport, customs and fleet management, and particular experience in health supply chains and medical logistics.  You are able to bring a team with you through training to develop adherence to policies and procedures, and apply your experience in emergency response to give context appropriate advice. A solid communicator, you convey both the detail of processes and the reasons behind them to ensure buy-in from stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

Duties and key responsibilities

1. Policy and Systems Development

• Develop, document, and roll out logistics policies and SOPs in the following key areas:

o Warehousing and cold chain management (with sensitivity to medical supply needs)

o Stock control, inventory, and distribution tracking

o Fleet and transport management (including movement of medical supplies across checkpoints and borders)

o Asset tracking and management

o Import/export procedures and customs clearance, especially for medical goods

o Logistics record-keeping and audit readiness

• Ensure that logistics systems are context-appropriate, compliant with MAP’s internal policies, donor regulations, and relevant health standards (e.g., WHO guidelines, GMP).

• Ensure that there is one version of the truth in MAP’s logistics systems, working with other systems, projects, and governance bodies as required.

• Support the development of the required systems to enable improvements in the supply chain function.

2. Training

• Conduct multiple needs assessments to identify logistics training gaps across MAP’s country offices.

• Develop training materials such as competency frameworks, learning and development programmes, and associated training materials tailored to MAP’s operational and medical logistics context.

• Deliver training and coaching to logistics, operations, and program staff in Lebanon and the oPt (West Bank and Gaza).

• Build staff capacity in cold chain, medical warehousing, and cross-border logistics procedures.

• Establish systems for ongoing learning, including refresher trainings and knowledge sharing.

3. Quality Assurance and Compliance

• Monitor field implementation of logistics procedures and identify areas for improvement.

• Ensure all MAP medical logistics operations conform to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.

• Support internal audits and donor reviews by ensuring logistics documentation is in place and systems are audit-ready.

• Work with MAP’s MEAL and Operations teams to develop KPIs and performance metrics for logistics operations.

• Develop and maintain a logistics risk management plan (RMP) and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) plan, supporting the identification, assessment, and prioritisation of risks. 

4. Operational Support

• Provide technical support to country teams during emergency responses, including surge capacity for logistics planning and setup.

• Liaise with program teams to ensure alignment between logistics support and medical programmatic needs.

• Work closely with MAP's Procurement function to ensure consistency between Procurement and Logistics systems, policies, and procedures.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Humanitarian Operations, Public Health Logistics, or related field.

• Significant experience in humanitarian logistics, including field-based experience in complex or protracted crisis contexts.

It’s an exciting time to join the Philanthropy and Marketing Team at SCF.

After investing in our Philanthropy and Marketing capacity, we’ve grown fundraising income by 60% and added almost £4 million to SCF’s endowment since 2021.  We’re about to launch a new 10-year strategy with ambitious plans to grow our endowment to £35 million by 2035 to significantly increase the funding we can provide our communities for generations to come.

This role will be key to our growth, particularly from gifts in Wills. We’re looking for someone passionate about delivering an outstanding donor experience that will ensure our supporters feel engaged, inspired and motivated to give through SCF to build stronger communities in Somerset.

We need someone who can confidently create and deliver fundraising strategies for growth, using data and insight to inform and evaluate their success. You’ll be methodical and analytical, confident balancing multiple workstreams and have superb attention to detail. And you’ll be a great communicator, able to effortlessly write clear and compelling copy that’s tailored to our audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead SCF’s legacy fundraising programme, working closely with the Philanthropy Director and Senior Marketing Manager to create and deliver a legacy fundraising strategy.
• Lead on the creation and delivery of a stewardship framework to deliver an outstanding donor experience for SCF’s supporters and partners, including fundholders, corporate partners, charitable trusts, legacy pledgers and individual donors.
• Lead on ensuring the team are making best use of Salesforce to support effective portfolio management and reporting, and maintaining high-quality data.
• Lead on the delivery of our annual Fundholder Impact Reports, working collaboratively with the wider team including Finance and Programmes and embedding more efficient use of CRM and AI to support this.
• Work with our Senior Marketing Manager to create and deliver a high-quality stewardship events programme, including our Annual Celebration, donor visits to charities and research and insight events tailored to the interests of our supporters and partners.
• Work with the Philanthropy Director and Senior Philanthropy Manager to refresh and grow our mid-level giving programme, reviewing our existing donor base, embedding stronger donor journeys, and undertaking research and data analysis to explore new opportunities such as next-generation philanthropy.
• Lead on the delivery of SCF’s Surviving Winter Appeal and any ad-hoc emergency appeals.

At Ambitious about Autism, we're currently looking for a Youth Engagement Officer – Autistic and OK to join our team on a 2 year fixed term contract.

The Youth Engagement Officer will play a central role in ensuring autistic young people are meaningfully involved in shaping and delivering the next phase of the Autistic and OK programme. • Experience of working directly with young people, particularly neurodivergent young people, and facilitating their meaningful involvement in projects, workshops or campaigns, including both in-person and online formats.
• Proven experience of co-design or co-production with young people, with a strong understanding of inclusive and accessible facilitation practices.
• Understanding of autism and the barriers that autistic young people may face in education and participation settings.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will have an essential and diverse role supporting the operations and administration of a ~£1.8m charity, which has ambitions to grow. You will support the Finance Director through payment processing, CRM management, IT management and HR support/ ensuring team well-being. You will be the first point of contact for all enquiries, providing a critical ‘face’ and ‘voice’ for the charity.  You will be responsible for the smooth running and effective administration of the London office and delivery of our all-team Team Days and meetings.
