Headway is seeking a passionate and driven Individual Giving Fundraiser to join our Fundraising Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting people affected by brain injury by helping us grow and nurture our individual donor base.

About the Role

You will lead on managing and developing our portfolio of individual donors, including Friends of Headway members, regular givers and cash appeal donors, and in-memory supporters. Director of International Fundraising

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work closely with the Vice President of International Fundraising and senior department staff, as well as key contractors and vendors, to identify short- and long-term fundraising goals, objectives, and metrics, and effective strategies to meet those goals

• Work with all department staff to ensure strong morale, effective team building, and intradepartmental communications

• Work with staff members to create a work environment conducive to creativity, cooperation, and “best practices”

• Work with PETA and other PETA entities to increase online and e-mail donations, direct-mail and telemarketing donations, prize-led fundraising, and net income

• Support the Vice President of International Fundraising to develop and implement strategies to solicit major gift income and planned gifts for PETA and other PETA entities

• Develop PETA’s and other PETA entities' annual direct mail/telemarketing and online/e-mail fundraising budgets, including setting specific fundraising goals and benchmarks

• Work closely with the Vice President of International Fundraising and the Events team to develop a schedule of donor events, both in-person and virtual, for PETA and other PETA entities

• Serve as a liaison between PETA US' Policy and Marketing departments and the PETA Foundation's (US) Production, Legal, and IT departments for all direct-response fundraising projects and content, including privacy, technology, and design issues

• Ensure that all international direct-response fundraising efforts are streamlined and coordinated to make the best use of resources and minimise duplication of efforts

• Identify new technologies, fundraising programs, staffing requirements, and strategies to boost net income across the department and the organisation

• Work with the PETA Foundation's (US) Development team to coordinate and integrate fundraising campaigns globally

• Provide back-up and support as requested by the Vice President of International Fundraising

• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Significant and demonstrable experience working within an international fundraising program

• Significant management experience

Job Purpose

The Partnership Coordinator role is varied, offering the chance to develop a wide range of skills. Responsibilities include delivering programme and network activities, managing local hubs, supporting events and meetings, and participating in recruitment and retention activities led by the Partnerships Team.

Working closely with school and trust leaders and hub managers, you will need excellent relationship management skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

This position requires individuals who are self-motivated, organised, detail-focused, and strong communicators. 

We are looking for new colleagues to focus on delivering our programmes and networks, ensuring a great experience for our partner schools (about 60-80% of your time). The remaining time will be spent on hub account management, supporting knowledge exchange and network growth, and handling general partner queries.

Key Responsibilities

Programme and Network Delivery:

- Support the planning and delivery of programmes and networks, including scheduling dates, organising training sessions, and other activities.

- Support the organisation and delivery of programme-specific and national events.

- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including resolving operational issues and escalating as needed.

- Provide year-round support to local Hub Managers to ensure schools receive necessary support.

- Monitor programme, network, and hub data to identify risks and/or trends, providing regular reports and updates to support the continuous improvement of our activities. 

Partner Relationship Management:

- Work with the Challenge Partners Central Team to ensure an excellent experience for partners and help schools maximise their partnership value.

- Support the induction and onboarding of new schools to their hubs and the National Network of Excellence.

- Troubleshoot and respond to school or trust queries through internal customer care systems.

- Utilise and update our CRM system (Salesforce).

Communications:

- Respond to email and phone queries about Challenge Partners, programmes, networks, and hubs professionally and promptly.

- Collaborate with programme, network, and partnership leads to provide high-quality communications to partner schools, including renewals, induction, onboarding, engagement emails, and hub updates.

Recruitment and Retention:

- Support year-round recruitment of schools to the Network of Excellence, working with hubs to deliver introductory events.

- Provide updates on schools in your hub to inform retention campaigns.

- Manage leads within your hubs, connecting schools with local hubs and Jubilee Networks.

The role:

Administration of the Membership and Workforce Board of Council

• Lead on administration of the Membership and Workforce Board of Council and its sub-committees, including setting meeting dates, sending invitations, preparing papers, taking minutes and actions, and dealing with queries.

About the Role

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps of Lebanon. 

MAP seeks a Head of Logistics Systems and Training to lead the development and implementation of standardized logistics policies, procedures, and tools (excluding procurement). This role is central to ensuring that logistics systems are fit-for-purpose, efficient, compliant, and supportive of MAP’s medical aid delivery across the occupied Palestinian territory and Lebanon. A key focus will be on staff capacity building and field support to ensure high-quality logistics practices aligned with medical and humanitarian standards. 

About You

You are an experienced humanitarian logistician who enjoys designing and building systems, ways of working, and governance to support more effective logistics processes and function. You have a broad range of expertise across warehousing, transport, customs and fleet management, and particular experience in health supply chains and medical logistics.  You are able to bring a team with you through training to develop adherence to policies and procedures, and apply your experience in emergency response to give context appropriate advice. A solid communicator, you convey both the detail of processes and the reasons behind them to ensure buy-in from stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

Duties and key responsibilities

1. Policy and Systems Development

• Develop, document, and roll out logistics policies and SOPs in the following key areas:

o Warehousing and cold chain management (with sensitivity to medical supply needs)

o Stock control, inventory, and distribution tracking

o Fleet and transport management (including movement of medical supplies across checkpoints and borders)

o Asset tracking and management

o Import/export procedures and customs clearance, especially for medical goods

o Logistics record-keeping and audit readiness

• Ensure that logistics systems are context-appropriate, compliant with MAP’s internal policies, donor regulations, and relevant health standards (e.g., WHO guidelines, GMP).

• Ensure that there is one version of the truth in MAP’s logistics systems, working with other systems, projects, and governance bodies as required.

• Support the development of the required systems to enable improvements in the supply chain function.

2. Training

• Conduct multiple needs assessments to identify logistics training gaps across MAP’s country offices.

• Develop training materials such as competency frameworks, learning and development programmes, and associated training materials tailored to MAP’s operational and medical logistics context.

• Deliver training and coaching to logistics, operations, and program staff in Lebanon and the oPt (West Bank and Gaza).

• Build staff capacity in cold chain, medical warehousing, and cross-border logistics procedures.

• Establish systems for ongoing learning, including refresher trainings and knowledge sharing.

3. Quality Assurance and Compliance

• Monitor field implementation of logistics procedures and identify areas for improvement.

• Ensure all MAP medical logistics operations conform to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.

• Support internal audits and donor reviews by ensuring logistics documentation is in place and systems are audit-ready.

• Work with MAP’s MEAL and Operations teams to develop KPIs and performance metrics for logistics operations.

• Develop and maintain a logistics risk management plan (RMP) and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) plan, supporting the identification, assessment, and prioritisation of risks. 

4. Operational Support

• Provide technical support to country teams during emergency responses, including surge capacity for logistics planning and setup.

• Liaise with program teams to ensure alignment between logistics support and medical programmatic needs.

• Work closely with MAP's Procurement function to ensure consistency between Procurement and Logistics systems, policies, and procedures.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential:

• University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Humanitarian Operations, Public Health Logistics, or related field.

• Significant experience in humanitarian logistics, including field-based experience in complex or protracted crisis contexts.

• Demonstrable experience developing logistics SOPs and operational tools (excluding procurement).

• Experience developing and implementing logistics systems (e.g. inventory management, e-assets).

• Strong training and facilitation skills, including ability to work across cultures and languages.

• Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice, cold chain and medical logistics standards.

• Familiarity with customs, import/export, and movement constraints in occupied and conflict-affected areas.

• Understanding of donor compliance frameworks (e.g., FCDO, ECHO, UN agencies).

• Prior experience with medical or public health-focused NGOs.

Desirable:

• Arabic language skills (spoken and written).

• Experience working in or on the occupied Palestinian territory and/or Lebanon.

• Prior experience with medical or public health-focused NGOs.

• Knowledge of humanitarian standards such as Sphere, Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS), and WHO guidelines.

• Familiarity with the software development life-cycle.

It’s an exciting time to join the Philanthropy and Marketing Team at SCF.

After investing in our Philanthropy and Marketing capacity, we’ve grown fundraising income by 60% and added almost £4 million to SCF’s endowment since 2021.  We’re about to launch a new 10-year strategy with ambitious plans to grow our endowment to £35 million by 2035 to significantly increase the funding we can provide our communities for generations to come.

This role will be key to our growth, particularly from gifts in Wills. We’re looking for someone passionate about delivering an outstanding donor experience that will ensure our supporters feel engaged, inspired and motivated to give through SCF to build stronger communities in Somerset.

We need someone who can confidently create and deliver fundraising strategies for growth, using data and insight to inform and evaluate their success. You’ll be methodical and analytical, confident balancing multiple workstreams and have superb attention to detail. And you’ll be a great communicator, able to effortlessly write clear and compelling copy that’s tailored to our audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead SCF’s legacy fundraising programme, working closely with the Philanthropy Director and Senior Marketing Manager to create and deliver a legacy fundraising strategy.
• Lead on the creation and delivery of a stewardship framework to deliver an outstanding donor experience for SCF’s supporters and partners, including fundholders, corporate partners, charitable trusts, legacy pledgers and individual donors.
• Lead on ensuring the team are making best use of Salesforce to support effective portfolio management and reporting, and maintaining high-quality data.
• Lead on the delivery of our annual Fundholder Impact Reports, working collaboratively with the wider team including Finance and Programmes and embedding more efficient use of CRM and AI to support this.
• Work with our Senior Marketing Manager to create and deliver a high-quality stewardship events programme, including our Annual Celebration, donor visits to charities and research and insight events tailored to the interests of our supporters and partners.
• Work with the Philanthropy Director and Senior Philanthropy Manager to refresh and grow our mid-level giving programme, reviewing our existing donor base, embedding stronger donor journeys, and undertaking research and data analysis to explore new opportunities such as next-generation philanthropy.
• Lead on the delivery of SCF’s Surviving Winter Appeal and any ad-hoc emergency appeals.

The Role

• Overall responsible for managing and coordinating the Education and Youth development programme, part of the Training and Education project.
• Develop and support the youth education programmes, and support the Training & Development Manager with any other relevant training and community engagement
• Work with Savera UK Youth Collectives to develop and ensure meaningful youth participation and delivery of projects and programmes that align with Savera UK’s mission to end ‘honour’-based abuse (HBA) and harmful practices.
