In the short term, your focus will be: 

• Overseeing the introduction of a new member data collection portal being developed by a third-party organisation.
• Developing, deploying and improving our internal performance reporting and hospice sector reporting using Power BI and related Microsoft tools.

You’ll be passionate about data and using it to improve decision making and operational processes. You’ll be able to engage with colleagues at all levels to understand their needs, champion good data management and reporting practices, and provide technical advice and guidance.

The Digital Lead is the operational backbone of the Digital team, responsible for ensuring the smooth, day-to-day running of all digital functions. This role is a key partner to the Head of Digital, freeing them to focus on strategy, vision, digital transformation and high-level stakeholder engagement.

The Digital Lead will be the primary line manager for the digital managers (web, social media and digital campaigns & email), focusing on workload management, resource allocation, and supporting the development of a high-performing culture. While providing support and a delivery mindset for the broader Digital Transformation Programme (DDT), the Digital Lead’s core focus is on maintaining a sustainable workload, effective planning, and managing the team's operational goals and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management & Team Leadership

· Line Management and People Development: Serve as the primary line manager for the digital managers of web, digital campaigns & email and social media, overseeing day-to-day operations and team performance. Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and support individual development plans, iterating and embedding the "Digital Wavemakers Manifesto" and team development approach.

· Demand & Workload Management: Actively manage the team's workload and capacity. Implement and maintain processes for demand management and effective planning to ensure the team can deliver its goals sustainably.

· Resource Planning: Ensure resources are allocated effectively across the team's goals, from daily operations to specific projects.

· Team Culture: Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture. Monitor team health and morale using surveys and qualitative feedback, ensuring the team is well-supported and motivated.

Goal & Objective Delivery

· Operational Goal Delivery: Drive the delivery of the Digital team’s operational goals and objectives for the fiscal year. This includes ensuring all goals related to digital purpose, principles, and team objectives are met, as per the established department plan.

· DDT Programme Support: While not a core part of the role, the Digital Lead will provide operational support to the Head of Digital and the broader digital transformation programme. This includes ensuring the Digital team's resources and deliverables (e.g. website development, cyber security, Salesforce embedding) are planned effectively to support the DDT's success, without taking on direct project management responsibility for them.

Planning & Reporting

· Operational Planning: Support the Head of Digital with the development of the team's operational plans, including learning and development initiatives, and the Digital Acceleration Training Programme.

· Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key departmental metrics, such as learning programme participation rates and team satisfaction, to the Head of Digital. Ensure all departmental objectives and goals are on track.

What we are looking for:

· Extensive experience in an operational management role within a digital or technology team.

· Proven ability to Line Manage and mentor a team, with a focus on people development and wellbeing.

· Strong skills in workload and demand management, with a track record of building sustainable and effective operational processes.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

· Familiarity with digital project lifecycles, and the ability to support project teams without direct management of the projects themselves.

· Strategic thinker with the ability to translate organisational goals into impactful digital

· Proactive, results-oriented, and passionate about using digital platforms to drive positive impact.

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Job purpose

You will work closely with teams and partners across regions, using insight and analytics to enhance reach, visibility and engagement.

1. Content creation & production

Caudwell Youth exists to level the playing field for young people at risk.

We support at-risk young people who are care experienced, have mental health challenges, or are at risk of exploitation or offending.

WHAT WE DO

Caudwell Youth shapes young people’s futures by providing person-centred support to at risk 11 to 24-year-olds through volunteer-led mentoring for up to 18-months, alongside a targeted intervention programme.

Our mentoring service is designed to ensure every young person feels safe, heard and supported. Each young person gains a trusted adult (a trained volunteer) who meets with them once a week to support them as they take steps towards a more positive future.  

This year, we have supported more than 400 young people.

ABOUT THE ROLE

To support the Deputy CEO in ensuring the effective delivery and growth of Caudwell Youth’s services.

To oversee the management of operational programmes, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support for young people. To contribute to business development, leading expansion via statutory grants and contracts.

KEY DUTIES

Strategic and External Leadership:

• Lead the effective delivery and development of Caudwell Youth’s programmes, in line with our strategic plan.
• Build and maintain relationships with funders, and strategic partners, with support from the Deputy CEO.
• Identify and secure new funding opportunities, leading on public sector bids and tenders, in line with our strategic plan
• Ensure a youth participation and evidence-based approach in all aspects of service delivery and development.

To lead and manage the day-to-day operations of Dacorum Foodbank, ensuring the effective delivery of emergency food support to individuals and families in crisis. The Foodbank Manager will oversee a team of staff and volunteers, manage suppliers, stock and logistics, and work collaboratively with supporters, internal teams, referral agencies and support services to provide holistic, person-centred support. Education Delivery Specialists are the front-line delivery posts for all programmes, leading workshops, training peer educators and mentoring ambassadors across the country. You will be committed to equality with the skills to engage 9 to 15-year-olds through learning and empowerment. This role is a temporary maternity cover, ideally starting in March 2026. You will be covering a range of brilliant London schools with established relationships and programmes. You will join a supportive team including two London and Essex-based workers.

Key responsibilities

• Programme Delivery: You will plan and deliver educational programmes for young people (ages 9-15) focused on challenging prejudice, empowering them with knowledge and skills. You will book programmes into schools, maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, and lead workshops and online sessions. You will prioritise equality and diversity, emphasising inclusive educational activities and impact.
• Training, Mentoring and Support: You will train young people as peer educators and Ambassadors to disseminate anti-prejudice messages effectively, and provide mentoring, offering support and guiding them.
• Events: You will organise events, study trips, and projects with Ambassadors and communities, working to targets, curriculum, and quality standards. You will monitor and evaluate activities, maintaining records.
• Database and Fundraising Support: You will maintain comprehensive records on the Trust's databases and contribute occasionally to fundraising efforts, such as grant applications and supporting at donor events.

The Education Delivery Specialist will have substantial experience of running learning activities with groups of young people, including aged 9-15 years, and experience of engaging with and meeting the needs of disadvantaged young people. You will also have experience of providing pastoral/emotional support, working successfully as part of a team, and keeping records and writing reports. You will have knowledge of best practice in teaching and/or youth empowerment, as well as be familiar with the needs and issues of young people. You will understand and have ideas about how to challenge prejudice, and an understanding of safeguarding. You will be highly organised, with excellent administration skills, and able to build and maintain effective relationships. You will use your initiative, creativity, and energy to solve problems and develop new ways of working. You will have an inspiring presentation style with warm, professional interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about Anne Frank and the work of the trust.

The role is home-based within London. Ideally, you will have access to appropriate working space which can be discussed at interview. There will be frequent local and regional travel and occasional UK-wide travel and overnight stays. Expenses are covered and time off in lieu is given for evening and weekend work. Ideally you will have a current valid UK driving licence and access to a car, but this is not essential as it is a London-based role. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Heritage Activity and Evaluation Consultant to support the delivery and evaluation of our tower restoration and heritage project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. This role is crucial in ensuring the project meets its approved purposes and outcomes, while providing valuable insights for future development.

Scope of Work

1. We expect that the appointed Heritage Activity Consultant will deliver the following:

· Lead on the successful delivery of the heritage engagement activities as per the Project Plan to achieve The National Lottery Heritage Fund’s outcomes and approved purposes

· Lead on the promotion and publicity of the project

· Lead on the recruitment and management of volunteers

· Liaise with the project partners listed in the Project Plan, as well as any other connections that are created through the project

· Maintain high quality records of all project activities

· Submit Progress Reports and Grant Claims to the Heritage Fund

· Support the Evaluation Consultant with the evaluation of the project

2. Regular Monitoring Support

· Assist the church with the submission of The National Lottery Heritage Fund grant reports and payment claims.

The Local Storytelling Exchange (the Exchange) exists to change the conversation about the ‘green transition’ in the UK. We tell the human stories of how everyday people, communities, and places are building fairer, greener futures, especially where narratives around climate action are more contested. Our place-based storytellers use community insights, journalistic expertise, and creative storytelling to shift narratives and humanise the transition.

About the role  

We are looking for a Digital Innovation Lead to position us at the cutting-edge of digital, locally based storytelling about the climate transition.

Part of this role will be overseeing our approach to social media. But more than that, the successful candidate will bring their know-how and entrepreneurial flair to help us reimagine our digital storytelling on the climate transition.

From TikTok to hyper-local Facebook groups, from AI-powered analysis to multimedia experimentation, you will help the Exchange build a digital game that’s contemporary, sector-leading, ethical and true to both our mission and our USP as locally rooted, authentic, people-led storytellers.

In depth technical expertise (for example, in the mechanics of video creation) is not essential. Knowing where to get it, how to use it - and what great looks like for an organisation like us - is.

The Digital Innovation Lead will deploy audience and platform insight, social listening, and restless creativity. They will ensure our digital storytelling has scale, reach and narrative-shaping impact in its own right, and as a complement and added dimension to our existing, sector-leading print, broadcast and online journalism.

We want someone who can work collaboratively to challenge our assumptions and try new things, while holding on to what makes the Exchange’s storytelling special: our authenticity and people-first approach.
