Key Responsibilities:
- To develop, implement and manage regional (community) fundraising the associated income and expenditure budgets, ensuring that all budget targets are achieved
- To evaluate regional fundraising plans on a regular basis and make changes when necessary
- To cultivate relationships with existing individuals, fundraising committees, businesses, schools and community groups by executing exemplary, personalised stewardships in order to maximise fundraising income, and to ensure their life long support.
- To research and identify prospective new regional fundraising opportunities and activities and to produce funding proposals for donors and prospects, ensuring that the potential of these sources is fully maximised
- To secure charity of year adoptions for organisations, including community groups, golf clubs, schools and smaller companies.
- To undertake talks to community groups to maintain relationships, nurture new contacts and elicit donations.
- To work closely with the Supporter Services Team and to uplift support under £1,000.
- To actively promote and recruit participants to the Event Programme as per event target (to be outlined) for each activity.
- To input into the development of the Ambassador programme, working with members of the Volunteer Support Team.
- To work in conjunction with the Marketing Team to ensure strategic marketing and communication plans are created to promote community fundraising activity effectively
- To support and manage volunteers utilising skills and resources available, working with other Trust personnel as appropriate.
- To develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the region, the companies, community and events including the smaller parishes that are in the region.
- To produce monthly activity plans and reports.
- To monitor income against agreed targets, escalating issues as necessary and agreeing remedial actions
- To carry out any other duties as required by the Fundraising Management Team.
Hours and Benefits:
This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. You will work Monday – Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours required.
This role offers hybrid work, working 3 days in the office at our Hospices in Sutton Scotney, and 2 days remotely. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to travel around the region to meet community leaders, donors and supporters.
Salary - up to £30,750 FTE, dependent upon experience.

At the beginning of 2025, Laura was seconded to lead a cross-departmental project to align internal systems, processes and tools, which is why she is hiring a support role at the moment to drive forward key initiatives of her original role. Laura is an experienced project manager with experience working in the humanitarian and international development sector for more than five years before joining ClientEarth.
Main Duties
- Contributing to the delivery of the global Fundraising Strategy through driving improvements of relevant policies, processes and tools along the entire funding management cycle ensuring effective and efficient internal operations
- Effectively plan and deliver priority initiatives (including policy revision, risk matrix tool development, streamlining corporate income processes) collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that relevant perspectives are incorporated and work with their line manager on effective prioritisation
- Enable effective decision-making across ClientEarth’s existing and continuously growing funding portfolio, and occasionally review new funding agreements and advise staff during the contracting process

In 2021, the team doubled their income after the passing of HRH the late Duke of Edinburgh provided a significant opportunity to raise awareness and the profile of the charity.
The Philanthropy and Major Giving team looks after a variety of relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family trusts and foundations, many of whom are long-term supporters of the charity committed to supporting young people to fulfil their potential. The team is proactive when it comes to new business, seeking opportunities from our current networks and events. We collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders including our CEO and Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Trustees, Strategy & Engagement and Operations teams.

Reporting to the Supporter Acquisition Manager, this role joins at an exciting time to grow supporters and deliver engaging audience-led communication. This role will lead on the development and delivery of the DRTV and Print programmes whilst raising understanding internally of DRTV and championing programme support.
This role offers the opportunity to optimise all elements of the DRTV programme and develop and action all telemarketing and online responses.
Brooke requires a passionate individual who has excellent communication, campaign experience, who enjoys looking for ways to optimise creative campaign content and media testing.
To be successful as the Individual Giving Officer – Acquisition you will need:
- Experience working in a fundraising or marketing role across a range of channels such as DRTV, telemarketing, print, email and SMS
- Understanding of individual giving and fundraising KPI’s in relation to DRTV, Print, telemarketing, email and landing pages

The Talent Set are partnering with a brilliant charity to recruit for a Senior Individual Giving & Legacies Manager, leading the retention programme and a team of 5 to generate significant income across Appeals, Regular Giving and Legacy income streams. This role has a flexible hybrid working environment, with 1-2 days per month working in their offices in East Anglia.
Key duties include:
- Oversee the development and implementation of Supporter Retention and Legacy strategies and budgets for the charity, including mid-value, gaming and in-memory programmes.
- Assist with the strategic development of the charity’s overall Individual Giving strategy to maximise voluntary income and support.
- Optimise donor engagement journeys across online and offline channels to increase the lifetime value of donors and legacy prospects.
- Manage and monitor a range of direct marketing campaigns, including direct mail, telemarketing, OOH and digital, ensuring all campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure effective relationships with external agencies and suppliers to ensure the effective delivery of the charity’s direct marketing programmes.
We’re looking for the following skills and experience:
- Extensive experience of leading a diverse range of direct marketing campaigns across online & offline channels, working to agreed budgets and targets.
- Demonstrable track record of developing supporter retention plans, including appeals, regular giving and mid-value campaigns.
- A strong eye for data and analytics, with the ability to enable insight-led development and measurement of strategies and campaigns.
- Experience of leading individual giving teams and raising income upwards of £1M.

LandWorks is a national award-winning project. It is a pioneering rehabilitation and resettlement charity that provides a supported route back into employment and the community for people coming out of prison or at risk of going to prison.
LandWorks is a small organisation with a strong determination to get the best outcomes for its beneficiaries and ultimately influence change in the Criminal Justice System (CJS). The Operations Manager is part of the Senior Leadership Team and will deputise in the Project Director’s absence.

Job description:
General Management:
· Deputise in the Project Director’s absence or as required.
· Support the Project Director (PD) and Project Co-ordinator to manage and organise daily operations with trainees to help support a trainee’s journey at LandWorks.
· Monitor and take the ‘temperature’ of the site as it operates.
· Occasional out-of-hours trainee phone calls.
· Lead morning team meetings and facilitate afternoon de-brief meetings two days a week, and in the PD's absence.
· Act as a core part of the Senior Leadership Team, to facilitate the smooth running of daily tea breaks and communal lunches, to ensure that all trainees, staff and visitors take part and feel included.
Staff Management:
· Direct line management of the LandWorks enterprise team (that includes the wood workshop, market garden and pottery)
· Oversee HR processes, including recruitment, induction, training, and performance appraisals of the whole LandWorks team.
· Provide team motivation and promote professional development, including identifying training needs and setting team goals, across the whole LandWorks team.
Policy and Compliance:
· Manage and ensure on site adherence to organisational policies and procedures.
· Take responsibility as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, Health and Safety lead and Data Protection Officer.
· Support and assist with the mandatory review of organisational polices in consultation with the Charity Manager and PD.
