Reporting to the CEO, we are seeking a Director of Income Generation to lead on securing income. This is an exciting role which will focus on:
- maximising our unique portfolio of corporate supporters; further growing our Trust and Grants income, including building partnerships with like-minded charities;
- building our events-based fundraising, including bespoke events;
- looking for new areas for growth which could include developing a HNWI giving programme.
This role sits within our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and will manage our Fundraising team. You will seek to maximise value from opportunities across the organisation and ensure that fundraising is consistent with the charity’s broader goals. You will also work closely with of Director of Employment and Opportunities and team to co-design a Corporate Supporter Strategy.
To be successful, you will need proven success in securing five and six-figure value partnerships (both in corporate and philanthropy), as well as an overall understanding of our wider key income streams. Previous experience of working in a youth charity is highly desirable. Whilst your income generation achievements are important, your mindset and the way you approach your work are equally important to us, and we are looking for an inspiring and collaborative leader who seeks out opportunities alongside supporting your team to achieve their potential.
We are a remote-based organisation which promotes flexible working. This role will require frequent travel to our hub cities (Birmingham, Liverpool, London and Manchester).

About the Role
Working closely with the Chief Executive and senior leadership team, you'll lead the development and delivery of a bold, creative and high-performing fundraising and communications strategy to generate £1.4m annually.
You'll grow and nurture a portfolio of committed individuals and local businesses (founder patrons). You'll also build new income streams across trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, and major donor giving.
At the same time, you'll oversee all things brand, PR and communications, with a talented Communications Manager in place to help you raise awareness and build strong community relationships ahead of launch and beyond.
This is a leadership role with legacy. You'll inspire Barnsley's business community, philanthropists and champions to believe in and back the potential of their town's young people.

This role would suit a relationship-led fundraising leader who brings energy, creativity and ambition to their work. You'll be a strategic thinker, a compelling communicator, and a natural connector of people and ideas.

About this exciting opportunity
Working as part of a multi-agency team, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or being released from prison. You will undertake assessment and action planning with individual service users, create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users, plus deliver a range of interventions to service users which contribute towards achievement of prescribed outcomes.
We will also count on you to develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies, including probation, prisons, partners, and others who will assist in achieving prescribed outcomes for service users, ensuring you work towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales. Using agreed CRM databases and recording all activity relating to caseload and providing updates and reports are also key duties.
What we are looking for
- Experience working with partner agencies either as part of a multi-agency team working towards common objectives or negotiating to establish links to further the aims of a project
- L3 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent
- The ability to assess clients’ needs and provide tailored, client-led support through action planning and interventions involving advice, guidance, advocacy, and coaching
- An ability to work sensitively with clients applying trauma-informed strategies
- Impressive IT, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written

About WeSeeHope
WeSeeHope is a small international development organisation committed to creating sustainable change for vulnerable children in Southern and Eastern Africa. We work across three countries – Malawi, Tanzania, and Uganda – in areas where children are acutely impacted by a lack of opportunity, exploitation and isolation. Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a rota varying 08:00 - 16:00 and 09:00 - 17:00, you may need to work outside these hours, including bank holidays as per service requirements. You will also take part in our out of hours on call rota for managers.

The postholder will develop and lead fundraising and partnerships, raising crucial funds to support MumsAid’s growth. We are looking for an experienced, versatile fundraiser who can hit the ground running, bring a holistic approach and work with a range of donors and funders to help MumsAid develop a sustainable income pipeline.
This role has strategic accountability for fundraising and managing funder relationships. You will lead our competitive tendering and grant application work, and develop our corporate partnerships.
This is a part-time post, flexible on location, although some travel within the UK may be required. The role will provide support at fundraising events, requiring some occasional evening and weekend commitments (for which time in lieu will be granted).
Main Duties
Leadership and Management:
· Work alongside the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Board (particularly the Fundraising and Marketing Subgroup) to proactively identify potential sources of funding and realise opportunities for growth.
· Devise and develop appropriate strategies, produce and deliver strong proposals and pitches.
· Provide knowledge of current fundraising practice and develop a consistent working strategy that is sustainable.

Over the past 25 years alone, RABI has delivered almost £250 Million in direct financial support to the farming community, whilst the charity’s professional counselling service has provided 11,500 free sessions to farming people since 2022. RABI’s wrap-around support services continue to evolve, reaching more people year on year.

Key Purpose:
- The Business Development team leads and co-ordinates pilot service projects for RABI.
- This role would include supporting the Business Development Team in the planning and management of a major new pilot project.
- The role will involve an element of cross departmental working, to ensure both the smooth running of the project, but also the development of it to ensure it reaches its full potential.
- Building and maintaining successful working relationships both internally and externally and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery are essential to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and tracking project activities and milestones.
- Maintain and update detailed project documentation, including risk logs, Gantt charts, and status reports.
- Coordinate and minute project meetings, circulate actions, and follow up with stakeholders
- Support the development and submission of internal and external progress reports.
Stakeholder & Team Support
- Liaise with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to support timely delivery of tasks.
- Maintain strong, professional communication with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Organise events, workshops, or training sessions as required.
Monitoring & Evaluation
- Support data collection and performance monitoring in collaboration with the project team.
- Assist in capturing lessons learned, project reviews, and evaluation activities.
- Be an ambassador for Business Development internally within RABI and with external organisations.
- Demonstrate commitment to Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity and Health and Safety promoting a safe and inclusive environment.
- Undertake any other responsibilities commensurate with the post which management representatives may require.
Person Specification:
Essential
- High computer literacy and technical skills including the use of Microsoft 365 programmes, databases and CRM systems.
- Preparing data and samples to support with Departmental and Organisational reporting.
- Good ability to manage feedback and data reporting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to understand and translate complex information to a variety of audiences.
- The ability to work with people at all levels with tact and diplomacy.
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage own workload and priorities.
- Affinity with the goals and objectives of RABI.
- Flexible, resilient and solution focussed working with sensitivity, integrity and without prejudice.
Desirable
- Farming background or knowledge of the farming community environment.
