Call for Expressions of Interest  

Anticipated timeframe: November 2025 to mid-February 2026.

Title of Consultancy: Finance Consultant

Location: Sightsavers Bangladesh Country Office in Banani, Dhaka, operating during regular office hours (09:00 to 17:00, Sunday to Thursday), the consultant will require on occasion to travel within the country and abroad for supporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare periodical cash flow forecasts and monthly fund requests
• Review expenditures to ensure all supporting documents are attached to vouchers and correctly coded in SUN/UniFi
• Ensure month-end and project-end financial processes are completed on time
• Collect bank reconciliation certificates alongside financial reports from partners
• Finalise partner budgets, review periodic reports, and ensure accurate posting; monitor budget burn rates including partner projects
• Conduct financial monitoring of projects, including audits and oversight of partner organisations; carry out regular monitoring visits
• Support the Country Director and Finance & Support Services Manager (FSSM) in preparing project budgets and reforecasts as required
• Ensure timely preparation for project audits, including those involving partners
• Maintain finance records systematically in both hard and soft formats
• Conduct financial monitoring visits to partner organisations on a regular basis
• Verify partner project expenses against approved budgets and protocols
• Provide financial and logistical support as requested by partners or as needed
• Follow up on timely submission of financial reports from partners to Sightsavers
• Ensure proper financial monitoring of projects, including audits and financial management of partner organisations
• Support partners with budgetary control, revisions, and forecasts as needed
• Assist partners with regular budget variance analysis

Duration of the consultancy

The Finance Consultant will be engaged for a period of three and a half months, commencing in November 2025 and concluding in mid-February 2026. Any extension beyond this period will be subject to mutual agreement and dependent on project requirements.

Payment terms

The agreed budget for this consultancy will be discussed during the interview process. Consultants with a proven track record in the areas outlined will be engaged through an expression of interest process. Consultant’s expertise

• Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, Management, or Business Administration is desirable, though equivalent and relevant professional experience will be considered
• Experience working within reputable NGOs or INGOs
• Experience managing donor funds
• Experience in project accounting and working with partner organisations
• Strong skills in accounting data processing and financial report writing
• Knowledge of national tax and VAT regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Effective communication skills in both English and Bangla

Role Overview and Main Responsibilities

One of the main areas of this role is to improve the Digital Marketing systems of the college. This involves managing multiple projects and supervising other team members within their roles. The postholder will also work alongside the CEO to develop and implement a new marketing strategy to enable ANCC to achieve its vision and mission globally. This will include shaping the Marketing and Communications team to support the stakeholder journey for students, partners and donors.

• Enhancing the digital systems of the college for the purposes of marketing
• Work collaboratively with the CEO and Marketing & Communications team to ensure new marketing assets are designed and produced for optimal results

· Generating leads for new applicants, students, partners and donations to the college, optimising our efficiency, and maximising opportunities for engagement.

• Manage the website development project which includes the improvement of the college website for marketing purposes, and improving the User Experience (UXP) ensuring that it is optimised for search engines
• Manage team members for the maintenance and development of the college’s website, SEO, user journey experience, and website assets
• Support and collaborate with the Social Media officer to ensure digital marketing across our platforms, including LinkedIn for digital community engagement.
• Monitor and review performance of digital marketing channels for analytical reporting and making recommendations for improvement.
• Email marketing across stakeholder groups to support recruitment and engagement for the college. This includes the management of Mailchimp and ensuring Donorfy data is up to date.
• Direct marketing to students and partners for college courses, training options, collaborative design, delivery and lifelong learning. This may include digital marketing via website, social media, email, content marketing, print marketing and campaigns.
• Developing a digital marketing campaigns calendar and system for use within the team including the implementation of campaign briefs and tracking of campaigns across ANCC products
• Play an active role within the team to help at promotional events, including national exhibitions and conferences, at the college and elsewhere
• Assist the team with organising college open days and other promotional events (graduations, multicultural evenings, carols at Easneye etc).
• Work creatively with the team to continue to develop strong relationships with ANCC alumni through digital communications, and maximising opportunities for engagement
• Fully participate in All Nations community activities when possible

· There is a genuine requirement for this role to be filled by a committed Christian who is passionate about cross cultural mission and fully able to articulate the overall purpose as well as the detail of the College’s mission, from a personal faith basis.

The International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF) is looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Office to lead our presence in India and shape the future of transport workers' rights.

This is a unique opportunity to be at the helm of our Delhi office, overseeing our programmes, engaging with key stakeholders, and strengthening the labour movement across all transport sectors in India and South Asia.

About the Role

As the Head of the India Office, you will be the senior representative and strategic leader for the ITF in the region. You will have overall responsibility for the operational and political effectiveness of the Delhi office, ensuring our work is aligned with both regional and global objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership: Providing high-level oversight of all work programmes and administrative functions, ensuring the office contributes decisively to the ITF's regional and global strategies.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Union Strengthening: Building and maintaining strong, strategic relationships with ITF-affiliated unions and potential affiliates. You will offer high-level political and strategic support to advance organising, advocacy, and leadership development.
•  Programme & Project Delivery: Ensuring the effective implementation of ITF priorities and regional work programmes. You will facilitate the development, implementation, and reporting of donor-funded projects to achieve their contractual objectives.
•  Team & Office Management: Overseeing the operational functioning of the Delhi office, including staff management, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Championing Inclusion: Leading on the commitment to advance the leadership and empowerment of women and young workers, ensuring they are central to all regional strategies and activities.

You will report directly to the Asia Pacific Regional Secretary and work closely with the regional leadership team.

About You

We are looking for a proven leader who is passionate about workers' rights and has the strategic vision to grow our impact in India. You are a politically astute professional with excellent communication skills and a talent for building consensus.

How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community. 

When you need to travel for work, expenses will be paid (mileage or public transport costs).  

VoiceAbility offers the usual regular manager one to ones, Staff forums and communities of practice depending on role. Team meetings with a mix of virtual and in person approach.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Education Executive plays an important role in the facilitation and delivery of RLSS UK’s Education Strategy and will be a key contributor towards our organisation’s goal to ensure everyone can Enjoy Water Safely, Free From Drowning. The role supports the Education Manager with the implementation of educational initiatives throughout the whole of the UK and Ireland and works with both external partners and colleagues within RLSS UK to communicate our vital water safety messages to young people in an accessible, engaging and inclusive way. RLSS UK are leading experts in water safety and this role aims to grow both the number of children that receive our life-saving education but also looks to diversify the audience through adaptable resources and new approaches.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the Education Manager and colleagues throughout the organisation to deliver the RLSS UK ‘Education Strategy’, ensuring that that more young people have access to quality water safety education
• Facilitate education pilots and new interventions that are informed by the ‘Education Strategy’
• Administer future developments of RLSS UK’s education packages, ensuring that they are impactful and inclusive
• Work closely with the Volunteering Team to extend the capability of the community to deliver water safety education, providing volunteers, partners, and members with the relevant information and resources, thus standardising the delivery of our education programme
• Communicate regularly with schools, colleges and other educational institutions, encouraging the growth and stewardship of our education workforce, so that RLSS UK is more visible in schools and youth settings across the UK and Ireland
• Deputise for the Education Manager and occasionally represent RLSS UK at wider forums and groups as someone knowledgeable about water safety education
• Work with RLSS UK internal teams to ensure educational resources are up to date, accessible and attractive to a variety of different audiences
• Under direction from the Education Manager, work on new projects and initiatives which particularly seek to make water safety education accessible to ‘harder to reach communities’
• Maintain relationships with external agencies and individuals delivering similar work in the education space to network and elicit best practices
• Support the Education Manager with developing partnership work, empowering and enabling other organisations to deliver RLSS UK water safety education on our behalf
• Have a ‘finger on the pulse’ and an understanding of new initiatives in the educational landscape, with a view to utilising new technologies or methods which could help to increase the reach and impact of our work
• Always demonstrate and uphold the Society’s values and behavioural standards
• Ensure compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 by complying with internal information governance policies and maintaining up to date as part of RLSS UK’s compliance programme
• Proactively participate in the Society’s equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives and training, and to promote a culture of respect and inclusion for all staff and customers

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Relevant Experience, Skills and/or Aptitudes

• Qualified Teaching Assistant or higher
•  At least 5 years’ experience of working in an education setting
• Demonstrable experience of designing educational materials, schemes of work and lesson plans
• An ability to adapt educational materials and resources so that they are inclusive and accessible to all
•  Dynamic and proactive with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solve problems
• The capacity to be a participative member of a group or team and to actively contribute ideas and suggestions
• The ability to relate to, motivate and emphasise with a range of people from different backgrounds
•  Experience of collecting research and insight to inform continued development
• A positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Great at building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of people
• Good team player who works well under pressure and to deadlines
• Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate persuasively to a wide range of audiences
• Have good computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office
