We are looking for a Multimedia Producer to lead on the day-to-day production of video content, including filming and editing, as well as supporting with ad-hoc design work for the charity.

We are Chance to Shine: a children’s charity dedicated to harnessing the power of cricket to transform the life prospects of young people in the UK.

 Key responsibilities  

· Capture high-quality video content at Chance to Shine events, programmes, and community initiatives.

· Produce and edit compelling video content for use across digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.

· Create broadcast-quality assets to support media outreach and press opportunities.

· Develop creative concepts, scripts, and storyboards that align with strategic objectives.

· Conduct on-camera interviews and direct pieces to camera with professionalism and sensitivity to context.

· Organise and maintain a well-structured archive of video content for ongoing and future use.

· Design and produce engaging video graphics, including lower thirds, stings, and motion elements, in line with our brand guidelines.

· Support the creation of day-to-day graphic design materials, such as infographics, social assets, event materials, and presentations.

· Contribute to the broader work of the Communications & Digital department, assisting with various tasks and campaigns as required.

 Skills, Knowledge & Personal Competencies

· Ability to deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail.

· Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

· Creative thinker with a passion for developing engaging and original content ideas.

· A proactive self-starter who can take projects from concept to final edit independently.

· Good understanding of the social media landscape, including video best practices for each platform.

Experience & Qualifications  

Essential: 

• 1-2 years’ experience of filming and editing at a professional level
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects, or equivalent video editing software 
• Confident in operating professional camera equipment, including models such as the Sony FX30, or similar DSLR cinema-style cameras.
• Willing to travel throughout the UK, Full clean UK driving licence

Action for Refugees in Lewisham (AFRIL) are recruiting for a Community Activities Coordinator to join our growing, dynamic organisation. This exciting new role will sit within AFRIL's busy Casework and Advocacy Service, working collaboratively with our asylum seeking and recently granted refugee clients to plan and deliver a range of activities, improving wellbeing and community solidarity. 

We are looking for a good people person, able to engage and inspire others, who demonstrates a collaborative approach to working with a range of stakeholders and in particular AFRIL clients who come from a variety of backgrounds. The postholder will be highly organised, have good project planning and execution skills, and a good working knowledge of the issues affecting refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. Pre-Action Protocol letters to challenge unlawful public law decisions. The service currently provides Level 1 immigration advice under the Immigration Advice Agency.

• Destitution Support - a fortnightly Food Bank in partnership with St Peter’s Church providing food, food vouchers, toiletries, and other essentials, alongside a warm hub with free cafe, information and support. Small grants for essential items and cash payments for food in emergencies. Securing and distributing gifts in kind, e.g. winter coats, laptops and data. 

• Allotment of Refuge - a welcoming community of food growers that supports improved health, wellbeing and integration of members, whilst protecting the local environment. 

• Immigration Project in partnership with Southwark Law Centre, providing free legal advice and representation to support people to regularise their immigration status. 

We also use our frontline experience, together with our clients, to engage in Policy and influencing work to improve the services and policies that impact our client group. This includes advising the GLA on 3 asylum related working groups, and as a member of the London Housing Panel.

About the role

We are seeking a Substance Misuse Worker who has a specialism in mental health and substance use to join our team in Catford. You will be based within a 24 hour service which provides enhanced rehabilitation support to adults who have been diagnosed with severe and enduring mental health, who would benefit from an intensive rehabilitation and recovery-focused approach. Within this role, you will provide specialist knowledge and experience to support the wider team and residents to help them to overcome their personal barriers.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills. You will be a specialist in comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of your duties will include:

• Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.
• Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.
• Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.
• Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.
• Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning. 

About you

We are looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with experience in interventions, and in a similar role. Qualifications are desirable if paired with practical experience which is relevant to this role. We look at individual characteristics with the ability to engage with various people who may not want to receive the support, able to build trusting professional relationships, and able to demonstrate resilience, solve challenges, and be proactive. What the job involves

We are part of the Students & Education Directorate, a collection of wide-ranging professional services in place to support King’s students and their education. As a directorate we manage the student lifecycle from application to graduation and beyond, to ensure a coherent and seamless student experience and effective administrative processes, working closely with King’s faculties to do so.

About the role:

As part of our mission to break down barriers to university access and address broader educational inequalities, the Social Mobility & Widening Participation department has developed a dedicated strand of community organising within our work, which is becoming increasingly impactful across King’s and recognised in the sector. Through our Access & Participation Plan 2025–2029, we have made ambitious commitments to expand of this work to improve young people’s educational outcomes and address challenges to university access and broader inequalities.

We work to address local barriers to education such as mental health, pathways to citizenship, access to English language provision and issues around employment and fair wages. We do this through our partnership with South London Citizens. This role leads on the development and delivery of community organising initiatives and supports the wider integration of these methods across King’s. Through community organising, the role empowers school leaders, young people and parents to design, launch and sustain impactful campaigns. The post holder will work closely with Citizens UK organisers and colleagues across King’s to build strong partnerships and drive meaningful change, including engagement in broader, high profile local, regional and national initiatives.

The postholder will use community organising methodology to lead and expand our core community organising programmes which are currently, Parent Power South London, Empoderando Familias (in partnership with Citizens UK) and Empower ESOL. A key focus will be driving the strategic growth of our flagship Parent Power programme into new regions in collaboration with The Brilliant Club, where we have a commitment to support the launch of a new chapter each year through to 2028/29. This initiative empowers parents and carers to engage actively in their children’s education while building strong networks of community organisers who drive meaningful change at both local and national levels. The postholder will act as the main liaison with Citizens UK, The Brilliant Club and work closely with internal key stakeholders to support wider community organising initiatives and deliver training for SMWP staff.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who would like to develop their place-based work and use their skills within a university setting.

4. Evidence of having acted in a leadership role with peers or in local community activities (e.g. organising clubs or societies).

5. Ability to communicate complex and specialist information orally and in writing in a compelling way.

6. Ability to inspire, build relationships and bring people from a range of backgrounds together to deliver short-term projects and to build power.

7. Ability to plan significant projects or areas of work delivered to a high standard.

8. Understanding of the widening participation agenda and/or the role of higher education in social mobility.

1. Direct experience of broad-based approaches to community organising.

FTWW is looking for a full-time Volunteer and Community Coordinator! The successful candidate will strengthen community activity by engaging with external stakeholders and members of the public, increasing our reach and volunteer numbers. They will ensure that volunteers are supported and equipped to participate in a wide range of activities, both in-person and online.

The role is full-time home-based within Wales, with occasional travel to events and meetings, so a driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage.

We are a small but mighty charity where no two days are the same. You may be involved in facilitating an online coproduction event one day and speaking at the Senedd the next so excellent communication skills are a must. We currently have over 90 registered volunteers and a key part of the role will be to develop our volunteer programme.  As a small team, you will also support our part-time Engagement Coordinator, so there will be plenty of opportunity to demonstrate your creative skills too.

The ability to speak Welsh, or a willingness to learn, is desirable. We may also consider part time hours, or a job share for the right candidates. Please note in your application if this applies to you.

We have an excellent opportunity for an Individual Giving Officer to join King’s College Hospital Charity. The money the charity raises helps to fund cutting-edge facilities and equipment as well as pioneering research and treatment. The Individual Giving Officer role has come about due to growth and investment in the team. You will report into the Individual Giving Manager and will help achieve the income target of £1.3 million. You will be given the opportunity to work across all channels (f2f, telemarketing, direct mail and digital) and income streams (regular giving, lottery, in memory and legacy giving). Tasks will include, day to day admin for campaigns; running a direct mail appeal (with income between £10-20K); copy and content creation; research; invoice processing and complaint handling; speaking to donors; liaising with external agencies; and working on the stewardship journey.

There is a wealth of potential in the fundraising team at King’s College Hospital Charity and there is a lot of opportunity for you achieve new things and help shape the direction and future success of their IG programme.

A little bit about the role

As a member of the Admissions & support team, you will be supporting the recruitment and development of new social workers, who will then go onto change the lives of vulnerable children and families. You will play a key role in supporting the completion of all suitability checks (conduct, health and previous social care involvement) for Approach Social Work applicants, managing competing deadlines and multiple applicant cases at any one time.

The role requires a qualified social worker with experience of statutory practice and ideally substantial working knowledge of implementing reasonable adjustments in practice. The role involves primarily risk assessment to inform often difficult discussions around health, conduct and social care experience for applicants to Approach Social Work. Experience of taking part in panels, navigating sensitive discussion around criminal, conduct, previous social care involvement would be required.

Our suitability advisors are social work qualified and experienced members of the team who hold a vital position in ensuring all pre-programme checks are completed fully and fairly, for applicants to Approach Social Work. Suitability advisors are responsible for completing risk assessments where for applicants who disclose criminal, conduct, previous social care matters or disabilities which may need to be considered pre-programme. Suitability advisors also provide organisational guidance on conduct, reasonable adjustments and disability.
