About the role:
The Advice Service Manager is responsible for all advice team operations and developing the Kinship advice pathway.
You’ll manage a team to deliver a consistent, high quality and effective service. You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing systems and monitoring service quality and performance.
Continuously improving the service, embracing digital solutions and creating efficiencies and processes to drive performance, you’ll increase our ability to provide more support to kinship carers across England and Wales.

Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver high quality, targeted and tailored advice to kinship carers in England and Wales.

As Regional Manager you will represent, manage and co-ordinate FoodCycle meals for your allocated regional Projects. Our Projects are spaces where volunteers are empowered to run their own community meals using surplus food. You will manage local relationships with venues, community partners, supermarkets and volunteer recruitment channels to enable this to happen. You will continually be looking to increase our impact by working towards targets of increased meals served to our guests, expanding our existing Projects and setting up new ones within East Midlands.
An excellent communicator, you will manage the volunteers at each Project ensuring they are trained, supported and on-message with FoodCycle strategy. You will have experience of recruiting and managing volunteers, as well as programme development and delivery.
This role will require some attendance at our Community Meals projects, to support with delivery as necessary, which will include evening and weekend work. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this exciting role.

About the role
Smart Works exists to empower all women who need help getting into work. We are currently in a significant growth phase, doubling the number of women we support to 10,000 women a year by 2025. As such, we require vital cornerstone funding and are seeking to establish a Major Gifts function, to secure donations from high-net worth individuals, that will enable us to achieve our mission and help thousands of women to transform their lives.
This is an exciting new role that provides an opportunity to build a new major gifts programme from scratch. Supported by the Director of Partnerships, you will work closely with the CEO, Board, and our network of 750 volunteers, to develop a giving strategy that will engage and grow a new pool of crucial supporters for Smart Works.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing major donors, as well as conducting prospect research, developing bespoke stewardship materials, and securing five-figure and six-figure repeat gifts.
We seek an excellent communicator, with significant experience in influencing, negotiating and exceeding set targets. Creativity, an understanding of women’s fashion, and knowledge of wealth circles would also be advantageous.

- Research and identify prospective major donors who could support Smart Works, through existing warm networks and via outreach to cold audiences

The Hardman Trust supports people on long prison sentences to take their next steps in life. As the office, grants and programmes administrator your role is to help make this a reality through the day-to-day support of our work. Are you a technology and information security leader looking to put their mark at British Heart Foundation (BHF)?
As our Programme Lead, you’ll deliver a cyber security programme that will improve BHF’s information security, raise its awareness internally, and protect its assets. You’ll work closely with our Head of Information Security and will manage a team to deliver organisational change and achieve the programme goals and benefits.
You’ll work with key stakeholders across the business and provide regular updates to BHF’s Ops Board and Executive Group.
As part of the Technology Senior Management Team, you’ll work closely with senior leaders in the department to advance the overall objectives set by the Chief Technology Officer.
About Technology Enabling Functions
As we evaluate BHF’s foundational technologies, as well as plan our Cloud, Device and Workplace technology strategies, our Enabling Functions portfolio team supports and improves our infrastructure, enabling teams to better leverage technology & data to improve BHF’s day to day business operations and cybersecurity.
Our three product teams support the following areas:
• Workplace Tech & Infrastructure – responsible for & managing BHF’s Tech infrastructure, & applications roadmap. The team will identify, implement & maintain solutions, to deliver the appropriate infrastructure, hardware & software.
• InfoSec – responsible for supporting and servicing the InfoSec portfolio delivery, across security initiatives to protect BHF data & systems.

Working arrangements

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

About you
With a deep understanding of project and programme processes for a similar sized organisation, you’ll be an accredited Practitioner in industry standard qualifications (e.g. Prince2, MoP, MSP, Agile) and will have knowledge of cyber security frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls).
You’ll have previous experience in senior roles within a Technology team of 20+ as part of an organisation that turns over at least £50 million. You also have experience in a leadership role overseeing major change initiatives and working with other team leaders to matrix-manage teams across numerous roles, such as business analysts, technical engineers, developers, and testers.
Able to take a strategic approach to Technology, you’ll have a deep understanding of the partnering role Technology plays in a modern organisation.
You’ll also have the following skills and experience:

About Furthering Talent
Furthering Talent helps musicians from the earliest stage in their musical journey. The programme is specifically designed to help young people from low income families sustain their musical learning after initial state-funded whole-class lessons end, so they can keep on progressing and playing music well into their teens and beyond. The programme aims to effect significant change in how the musical potential of young people from low-income families is identified and supported.

The role
You will be the first point of contact and support for the team of Connectors in your Hubs, attending Teachers’ Forums and Get Togethers where possible and helping with the coordination of data gathering and management. You will help drive the promotion of the Connector role and handle any incoming Connector enquiries via the Young Sounds website, allocating them to the appropriate Connector. You will oversee the mentoring and youth voice offer in each Hub. You will be a champion for Young Sounds’ musically inclusive approach throughout the sector and will support the promotion of Young Sounds’ CPD and learning resources, especially the Charanga hosted Individual Learning Plan.
