What You’ll Do:
As our new Philanthropy Lead for the USA, you’ll:

• Develop and implement strategies to cultivate, solicit and steward donors to support the charity.

• Deputise for other philanthropy managers where required and share your experience and ambition with the wider philanthropy team.

• Work with programme colleagues to create opportunities for programme visits open to key donors – either in the UK or internationally, whilst also extracting key programme asks for funding

• Work with talent team colleagues to create engagement opportunities with Laureus Academy Members and Ambassadors that support HNW engagement and stewardship

• Use sector knowledge and insight to keep on top of best practice around HNW donor engagement, cultivation and stewardship

KEY REQUIREMENTS

About the role:

The post holder will support Respect’s Head of Finance to deliver an efficient budget holder support service to Respect’s Deputy Director of the Drive Partnership. This will ensure effective  financial planning, monitoring, reporting, fundraising support as well as identifying and implementing potential for system improvements.

About you:

You must be able to work remotely and at a level where you are able to prioritise your workload and provide good financial customer care to your budget holders. 

This role requires exemplary financial and inter personal skills. 

Alongside experience of financial management including setting up budgets, completing budget forecasts, accounting and providing meaningful commentary, we are particularly interested if you have that experience in a charity or similar not-for- profit service area.

As Major Donor Manager you will lead the major donor team whilst managing three major donor officers. You will be responsible for leading the team to deliver excellent account management and stewardship of the major donor portfolio, contributing to our goal of sustaining and increasing income from high-net-worth individuals. You will also support the team to identify, research and cultivate relationships with new prospects.
 
You will have substantial experience of successfully creating and managing relationships with donors to secure high value gifts. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to build relationships, negotiate, influence and collaborate with stakeholders, and you will have excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you'll join a high-performing team of eight, reporting to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager. You'll play a pivotal role in stewarding and growing existing partnerships, securing income, and ensuring our values and impact are reflected in every collaboration.

• Develop and grow existing corporate partnerships, securing incremental income.
