About the role

We're looking for someone who wants to build their career in marketing and digital communications and has a knack for administrative tasks, great writing skills and an eye for detail. As part of The King’s Fund’s Marketing and Digital Communications team, you’ll be at the heart of giving colleagues and customers a consistent, joined-up experience and play a key role in our marketing and communications strategy.

You’ll deal with a spectrum of work spanning from writing and creating compelling copy to diving into our CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and managing lists; to pulling together evaluation reports, analysing campaign performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. With support from your manager and the rest of the team, it’s a great role to build your expertise and gain valuable marketing experience.

Job Purpose

This role is a senior leadership team member and strategic lead for all corporate and consumer communications, member business engagement and marketing.

You will lead the marketing and communications function and manage the Marcomms team, continually developing and implementing effective marketing and communications strategies clearly articulating TFP’s vision, aims, projects and services.

Finally, you will provide strategic oversight and development for:

· Member communication strategy including BID renewal communications

· Consumer communications and campaigns strategy

· Social, wellbeing, member event and training programmes

· All communications channels including newsletter, websites, social media

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Senior Leadership

· To play a role together with the CEO and the Director of Policy and Place in setting the overall vision of the organisation and ensuring delivery specifically in relation to the agreed business plan.

· Have a key role working closely with the Board and relevant sub-groups.

· To represent the organisation publicly as required, and step in for the CEO as required.

Member Engagement

· Driving, developing and ensuring implementation of the member engagement strategy.

Information about the Job Role

This full-time role will be best suited for applicants who are able to balance a busy work schedule being both office based and community based, working mainly with Primary and Secondary aged children and their families, and delivering workshops and one to one support in Croydon based Primary and Secondary Schools, and at CDI sites. The (Senior) Research Officer will be an integral part of the team working to tackle gambling related financial harms through delivering timely and insightful research and consultancy support.

Key tasks in the role will include: 

• Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of key developments in gambling and financial services sectors, including regulatory guidance and best practice.

• Developing and strengthening relationships within financial services firms by delivering support to practically apply existing and new research to financial services work with customers with experience of mental health problems and or gambling harms. 

• Collaborating, brainstorming and analysing to identify potential policy solutions to address gambling related financial harms. 

• Collating insights from our Research Community of people with lived experience of mental health problems, and sharing these learnings through insight reports and briefings with financial services and other stakeholders.

• Supporting the Head of the Gambling Harms Action Lab with monitoring and measuring the impact of our work, engaging with key stakeholders, and suggesting innovative new ways to increase our impact. 

• Supporting other teams within the organisation to deliver our programme of research and consultancy work

The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) is looking for a Digital Learning Designer to join our dynamic RCR Learning team. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts and RCR Learning colleagues to design and develop visually engaging, interactive online learning resources that support doctors throughout their careers.

What you’ll do

• Scope, design and develop innovative online courses to to meet the needs of our learners (Resident Doctors and Consultants)
• Facilitate course design workshops with SMEs (doctors and academics), explaining learning design principles and recommending content types which meet busy online leaners’ needs
• Develop learning design plans, storyboards and scripts for online courses which meet our pedagogical and cost/quality frameworks
• Design and develop high-quality, interactive e-learning content using tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Synthesia, and Canva.
• Create compelling interactive exercises, visuals, animations, videos and branded templates to bring learning to life.
• Stay ahead of design trends and bring fresh ideas to enhance our digital learning offer.
• Support the marketing of digital learning resources by identifying compelling features and usage trends.
• Help maintain and improve our Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure content is up-to-date and accessible.

What you’ll need 

• Proven experience in instructional design and digital learning development.
• Strong visual design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• A creative eye for visual storytelling and accessibility.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders, including medical professionals.

Job Title: Substance Misuse Worker

Location: Catford, Lewisham (Approximately 11 minute walk from Bellingham Station - Thameslink and Southeastern rail services) - The service works across two properties which are located in close proximity to each other. This service has step free access.

Salary: £29,000 (Full Time Equivalent)

Shift Pattern: 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3 days a week which can be discussed directly with the hiring manager at interview 

About the role

We are seeking a Substance Misuse Worker who has a specialism in mental health and substance use to join our team in Catford. You will be based within a 24 hour service which provides enhanced rehabilitation support to adults who have been diagnosed with severe and enduring mental health, who would benefit from an intensive rehabilitation and recovery-focused approach. Within this role, you will provide specialist knowledge and experience to support the wider team and residents to help them to overcome their personal barriers.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills. You will be a specialist in comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of your duties will include:

• Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.
• Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.
• Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.
• Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.
• Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning. 

About you

We are looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with experience in interventions, and in a similar role. Qualifications are desirable if paired with practical experience which is relevant to this role. We look at individual characteristics with the ability to engage with various people who may not want to receive the support, able to build trusting professional relationships, and able to demonstrate resilience, solve challenges, and be proactive. • Full knowledge on comorbidity and complex needs, able to share knowledge, skills, and experience with others
• Previous experience in a similar role, providing interventions and holistic assessments and support for people experiencing mental health challenges
• Ability to provide specialist support and knowledge in risk assessment and risk management, particularly in relation to harm minimisation, substance misuse and mental health
• A commitment to promoting recovery, harm reduction, and active involvement in care planning
• Ability to apply relapse prevention models to promote sustained recovery and harm reduction
