Set up in 2009, Renaissance Foundation (RF) is a specialist youth charity providing support to two hard-to-reach groups: young carers and young hospital patients suffering from life-limiting illnesses. These groups have much in common, and can suffer from significant educational, social and emotional challenges including low academic attainment, high rates of unemployment, isolation and lack of self-esteem. Our mission is to inspire these young people to reach their full potential through our three-year programme, using the power of inspiration, creative and digital learning and vocational development. Our programme is designed to create high aspirations, build resilience and confidence in public settings and support positive engagement with society.
We are looking for a capable, proactive person to oversee the management of RF’s programme. You will be at the frontline of our work, working with key partners, young people and other stakeholders to make an impact. You will be responsible for all aspects of programme management and promotion of the programme through various outreach efforts.

Your key contributions
Programme
· Leading RF’s transformative programme including graduate schemes such as mentoring and the Youth Board
· Building your expertise in partnership development, working closely with the Programme Director to build effective partnerships with new partners, community organisations, local authorities and other stakeholders where required
· Attending all drop-in sessions/holiday activities to be a consistent, trusted presence for young people. Term time drop ins take place Wednesdays 5-7pm. Holiday drop-in sessions take place at different times. (Evening and occasional weekend work will be time taken back in lieu)
Outreach
· Driving RF’s Outreach strategy in order to build and enhance visibility and recognition of RF and connect with young people who could benefit from our support
· Managing referral partner relationships across London (including schools, hospitals, young carer services and others), nurturing existing relationships and building new partnerships
· Organising events that inspire referrals to RF including delivering school assemblies, presenting at meetings and taking other external visits as required
· Analysing referral data to identify opportunities and strategically expand our reach where it's needed most
General
· Collaborating with/supporting the programme team on an adhoc basis as required
· Ensuring safeguarding principles and procedures are always followed to protect the welfare of young people, including identifying, responding and reporting any safeguarding concerns

Programme Delivery Officer role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our Programmes Team as a Programme Delivery Officer. PDOs are responsible for supporting and coordinating the delivery of First Give in up to 50 schools, ensuring smooth running of the programme, providing guidance and troubleshooting for the Lead Teachers.
The role is home-based, in Yorkshire, with regular travel to schools across the county and occasional forays to schools in the North-West. Several times a year travel will be required to London, where our office is based.

Key responsibilities
- Provide logistic and programme support to teachers delivering the First Give programme at their school, including but not limited to:
- an introductory Programme Call with the Lead teacher;
- delivering a briefing to class teachers;
- troubleshooting via phone and email;
- booking in First Give facilitated sessions
- Ensure all programmes are delivering all core elements of the First Give programme
- Update and monitor Salesforce to track programme delivery
- Liaise with freelance facilitators to ensure events at schools are effectively staffed
- Deliver Launch Assemblies, Workshops and First Give Finals in partner schools
- Collect data for monitoring (student surveys, teacher surveys, identifying potential stories of impact, writing programme reports)
- Ensure prompt delivery of any programme resources required by schools (including Coursebooks and other physical resources)
- Support in the collection and distribution of comms via social media, newsletters and other formats to raise awareness of First Give’s work

1. Programme delivery - youth engagement

2. Programme delivery - digital content and campaigns

Delivery of our planned ‘Sexual health Q&As between young people & doctors’ campaign. This will include:

A series of video content, co-created with young people, for a social media campaign and series of associated website articles on the Fumble website.

3. Supporting our safeguarding

Supporting safeguarding at Fumble, as our Designated Safeguarding Officer. You’ll bring previous experience of effective safeguarding to help us build on our policy and practice.

Conduct / manage annual safeguarding training for Fumble team & stakeholder groups

We are looking for a Programmes Managers to lead the launch and development of our new regional hubs and our programmes designed to reduce the gap in employability within LGBTQIA+ young adults. The Programmes Manager (peer hubs) is a vital newly created role focused on bringing to life our operational strategy for 2026–2030.
As the programmes manager you will design and deliver a year-round curriculum, grow our digital and in-person communities, and ensure programmes are impactful, inclusive, and sustainable. The Sector Development Programme Manager will lead the design and delivery of a programme of support that strengthens, connects, and champions the local sector. They will oversee and enhance our existing offer while leading work to build the sector’s connective infrastructure.
This will include working collaboratively with our members to develop strong, inclusive networks that reflect their priorities, foster collaboration, peer support, and shared learning, and build a more unified and representative sector voice - ensuring that the insight and expertise of VCSE organisations meaningfully influence local systems, policy, and practice.
With a commitment to equity, collaboration, and community-led development, the Sector Development Programme Manager will work closely with partners, funders, and stakeholders to raise the profile of the local VCSE sector and advocate for the investment, recognition, and support it needs.
They will bring strategic leadership and programme management expertise, along with a deep understanding of the sector’s role in tackling inequalities and driving social change. Please note that this role can be offered on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of three days per week in the office. The role
The Commonwealth Sustainable Cities Coalition (CSCC) is a transformative, multi-level, multi-sector coalition designed to address the intersecting challenges of rapid urbanisation and climate change across the Commonwealth. The CSCC is a collaboration between the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), the Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA), the Commonwealth Association of Planners (CAP), the Commonwealth Engineers’ Council (CEC), and the Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF), working with The King’s Foundation (KF).
The CSCC Programme Manager will set up and oversee the CSCC Secretariat function, coordinate governance structures, and, in collaboration with the ACU Senior Policy and Networks Manager, lead the delivery of a cross-cutting skills agenda through the ACU’s newly launched Expert Group model. The role will also support CSCC partners in establishing three transdisciplinary Action Groups - focused on housing, integrated planning, and urban finance - and support delivery of three National Dialogues in selected Commonwealth countries. About the role:
EJF seeks a dynamic and highly organised individual to join our expanding Environmental Defenders (ED) programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we scale up support for grassroots leaders who protect our planet and defend interlinked human rights.

Role Purpose Statement
The Senior Officer, Active Fellows plays a key role in delivering high-quality support to Cara Fellows. This includes leading casework, coordinating Cara’s mentoring scheme to support Fellows’ placements, and contributing to strategic improvements across the Fellowship Programme. The role combines direct support to Fellows, operational oversight and delivery of casework, and collaborative leadership to support Cara to uphold its mission.
Organisational Background
The Council for At-Risk Academics is a UK-registered charity founded in 1933 under the leadership of William Beveridge, to rescue academics suffering persecution under the rise of Nazism and facilitate their continued work in safety. Sixteen Cara Fellows from the 1930s and 1940s became Nobel Laureates, and many more innovators in their fields, including, Nikolaus Pevsner, Lise Meitner and Karl Popper. A number of Cara’s founders and Council members also personally provided places and/or funds to help individual academics; and Cara, known in the 1930s as the AAC, later the SPSL, was closely involved in the successful effort in 1933 to bring to London the Warburg Institute art library, which had been prohibited by the Nazis, and six of its staff. The Fellowship Programme is the continuation of the rescue mission operation started in 1933.
Cara has been a lifeline to academics at risk for over 90 years, as and when world events have placed them in the line of fire: Hungarian Uprising, Cold War, Apartheid South Africa, Iran, Latin American Juntas, Vietnam, Kosovo, DRC, Rwanda, Sudan, Zimbabwe etc. and, more recently Iraq, Turkey, Yemen, Palestine, Syria, Afghanistan and Ukraine. Cara support is typically framed as temporary sanctuary offered at times of heightened risk.
Cara Objectives ‘To assist academics who have been, or are, or are at risk of being, subject to discrimination, persecution, suffering or violence on account of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion, to relieve needs among them and their dependants and ensure that their specialist knowledge and abilities can continue to be used for the benefit of the public.’
‘To advance education by supporting academics and their educational institutions in countries where their continuing work is at risk or compromised, to ensure that such academics and institutions can continue to fulfil their critical role as educators for the public benefit.’
This is a critical time to join our dedicated and friendly Fellowship Programme team as we expand our capacity to support at-risk academics from the Middle East, Sudan, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Ukraine and Russia and many other countries.
Key Responsibilities
Fellowships
Casework
· Manage a caseload of up to 50 Cara Fellows, providing tailored support.
· Maintain accurate and GDPR-compliant records of casework activity.
· Liaise with Fellows to coordinate support and escalate complex cases to the Team Leader as required.
· Monitor, research and update visa guidance to reflect changes in complex immigration regulation.
· Keep up to date with relevant information regarding immigration laws, e.g. visas, legal procedures, etc.
· Liaise with independent legal advisors where necessary.
Finance
· Work with colleagues in finance to ensure accurate and timely payments to Cara Fellows and non-Fellowship related payments.
· Promptly issue relevant invoices.
· Understand financial processes – on Salesforce and Pleo – and update systems appropriately.

Support Mechanisms
Mentoring Scheme
· Project Lead for the Cara Mentoring Scheme.
· Coordinate rounds, delegate tasks to the team as required, and oversee delivery.

· Lead on partnerships with organisations working in the mentoring world.

Monitoring and Evaluation

They manage the logistics and organisation of each school’s tutoring programme, working closely with the schools and pupils and managing the pool of volunteer tutors. They attend the weekly tutoring sessions at each school, as well as overseeing the quality of face to face and online tutoring, always working to deliver a great impact.

Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of Action Tutoring’s tutoring programmes in partner schools, whether online or face to face. This includes working closely to manage all key stakeholders: schools, pupils and volunteer tutors; regularly attending weekly tutoring sessions; leading on reviewing and improving programme delivery, using data to reliably assess programme performance.
- Responsible for overseeing the quality of tutoring, engaging in quality assurance processes, and providing feedback to volunteer tutors to ensure effective and impactful delivery. Provide regular check-ins with tutors to ensure ample support and guidance is given to provide targeted tuition to pupils.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in partner schools, including members of the Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers. Maintain clear and timely communication with relevant school staff, offering regular check-ins with key school stakeholders, and contribute to impact reporting to schools. Supporting the Programme Manager with strategies to retain and sustain school partnerships.
- Update and accurately maintain Action Tutoring’s database, including collecting timely data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, such as attendance records, baseline and interim assessments and pupil surveys. Reporting regularly on key performance indicators to key stakeholders and using them to enhance programme delivery. Work with the Programme Manager on business development, approaching new schools that might be interested in working with Action Tutoring.
- Proactively report to the Programme Manager on the details of Action Tutoring’s operations in their partner schools.

The Digital Programmes Officer is a vital operational role that ensures the platform’s day-to-day activities run smoothly. The post holder will provide logistical, technical, and communications support across the STO programme, becoming a first point of contact for student queries and responsible for maintaining clean and accurate engagement data.

Main duties
Systems and Data
- Ensure data is clean, up-to-date and compliant with internal data architecture and GDPR standards
- Use Salesforce and associated dashboards to manage student data, track engagement and support targeting
- Support evaluation and contribute to analysis of student feedback and engagement data
- Test new features and functionalities
- Support with the utilisation of student feedback to inform platform improvements
- Maintain the STO platform's functionality, coordinating with external tech partners on technical issues
Content and Communications
- Liaise with the Digital Programmes Content and Events Manager to implement content updates, new features and improvements to the student experience
- Monitor and edit content for tone, accessibility, accuracy and relevance
- Be the first point of contact for student queries via the STO helpdesk inbox, providing timely and supportive responses
- Maintain and update the STO knowledge centre and help articles
- Schedule and support delivery of newsletters, email reminders, and event campaigns
Delivery Support
- Support with delivery of STO live events, including logistical and technical support
- Collaborate with partners on webinar delivery and student follow-up
- Support onboarding of students and ensure smooth user journeys across the platform

Person Specification

- Using digital platforms and systems (e.g. CRMs, CMS, comms tools)

- Working within or an understanding of the not for profit sector;
- Excellent verbal and written communication and strong analytical skills

- Experience in digital, education or youth-facing roles is desirable

- Hours: The standard working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and may also be required to attend events / meetings outside of their normal working hours during weekday evenings and occasionally at weekends
