ID Verification Officer - Not For Profit - Temp - ASAP Start - PAYE

Your new company

Your new role
- Verify identification for applicants who are registering.
- Conduct all ID checks following the correct procedures and guidelines whilst maintaining high security.
- Asking appropriate questions when an anomaly or enquiry is raised.
- Following company guidelines to deal with anomalies or enquiries.
- Using IT systems effectively to verify and authenticate ID and other relevant documentations.
- Arrange software updates.
- Contribute to developing and maintaining protocol for ID verification.
- Create database for all applicants.
- Ensure all data is accurate and up to date.
- Meeting and greeting applicants who come in for their exam.
- Providing a general high level of service.
- General admin such as handling the telephone, correspondence in both written and verbal forms, filing and scanning.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a self sufficient, independent individual who enjoys working alone and does not need to be spoon fed. You must have a high level of customer service as you will be making the first impression to those who are registering. Applicants will be taking an exam so it is important you are empathetic and comforting when they enter the building so they do not feel as nervous. You must be a good peoples person to ease applicants into the process. You must be confident. highly organised and have a high attention to detail as you will need to ensure ID is verified following the correct processes. You must have good communication skills as you will be acting as a point of contact for applicants and colleagues. You will need to be IT literate as you will be storing and maintaining information on the organisations database and you will also need to be able to quickly learn how to use the companies software to verify ID.
