Job description

We are proud to be working with Compassion in World Farming International in their search for a Global Mid-Level Giving Manager to shape and lead their ambitious "Circle of Compassion" programme.

This is a unique opportunity to join the Global Fundraising team during a period of significant growth and contribute directly to their mission to end factory farming by 2040. With growing awareness of the devastating impact of industrial agriculture on animal welfare, human health, and the environment, now is a critical moment to inspire new donors and deepen connections with their existing supporters.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the "Circle of Compassion" programme: As the primary point of contact for mid-level donors (£1k-£10k), you'll provide exceptional stewardship, ensuring long-term engagement and increased giving.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing donors, while significantly expanding the "Circle of Compassion" programme globally, with a focus on the UK, US, and developing European markets.
  • Create compelling opportunities for supporters to deepen their connection to Compassion's mission and work.
  • Work closely with the Philanthropy, Individual Giving, Digital, and CRM teams across international markets.

We're looking for someone with:

  • A proven track record in engaging and stewarding mid and major donors (£1k+), including managing high-value portfolios.
  • Experience in planning and executing donor-focused events (virtual and in-person).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and data analysis.
  • A deep passion for animal welfare and our mission to end factory farming.
  • Experience working in an international charitable organisation and European language skills (French, Dutch, or Italian) are a plus.

To be considered for this position please apply with your CV as soon as possible, regrettably please note we may not be able to reply to each and every application.

We are committed to diverse and inclusive recruitment practices that ensure equal opportunity for everyone, regardless of race, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age or gender. We encourage applications from all backgrounds and will happily make reasonable adjustments to always ensure a fair process.
