Job description

Citizens Advice Staffordshire North and Stoke on Trent is looking for Advisors to deliver the Universal Credit: Help to Claim Service. Currently funded until December 2025. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality advice via phone and webchat.

You will have:

  • The ability to work within aims, principles and policies of the Citizens Advice service
  • Experience and a working knowledge of the main generalist advice areas but with particular reference to benefit advice and Universal Credit
  • Good communication skills
  • High level of IT literacy including the general use of the internet and to deliver webchat
  • The ability to prioritise and plan work to meet deadlines under pressure
