About this exciting opportunity

Working as an integral part of the ED Navigator team, our successful candidate will identify and assess young victims of violence and provide a comprehensive and holistic assessment, advice, referral and support service, exploring innovative and effective ways of supporting them which will reduce their risk of re-victimisation.

You will produce support and risk management plans based on assessments, promoting inter-agency collaboration in the assessment and planning process, and deliver a holistic support service, working solo or with colleagues as the situation dictates, which will include providing practical help such as social and housing support, accompanying to appointments, ETE options and appearing in court. We will also count on you to develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies and to close cases efficiently and positively, identifying a referral route for the client that will identify agencies that can be used for ongoing support.

What we are looking for

• Personal experience of the criminal justice system, lived experience of the issues facing this client group and/or experience of working with ‘high risk’, vulnerable children, young people and/or families
• Experience in working as part of a multi-agency team
• Experience of using support plans, to enable people to successfully access support services
• Substantial experience of engaging successfully with ‘challenging’ young people
• To have a relevant qualification to a good standard or be working towards one
• A knowledge of relevant services for young people and their families in the service provision area
• First-class interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Successful candidates must undergo an Enhanced DBS check, on the basis that the post involves contact with vulnerable participants and colleagues.

About the role

The Group Work Facilitator will play a pivotal role in delivering the CouRAGEus Project, an initiative designed to support Black and Global Majority young women, LGBTQ+ youth, and disabled young people. The role involves facilitating safe, inclusive, and empowering group work sessions that foster emotional resilience, healthy relationships, and self-advocacy.

The Facilitator will provide a trauma-informed, culturally responsive space where participants can explore issues such as mental health, well-being, consent, and social justice. This is a permanent role with responsibility for supporting women and girls who are survivors of sexual violence, to navigate the criminal justice system. As an Multiple Disadvantage ISVA you will have a good understanding of what constitutes multiple disadvantages, disempowerment, or discrimination, and how they intersect with experiences of sexual violence. You should have experience of providing support to women with multiple complex needs, ideally within the Criminal Justice System. In addition to having excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills you should also be able to develop key relationships with external agencies. You should have demonstrable experience of working with survivors of sexual violence and of working in a trauma-informed way. We will provide clinical supervision, full training and line management, and the opportunity to develop your skillsets. Responsible to the Advocacy service Deputy Manager you will be a key member of the advocacy service, working alongside our ISVA’s and Case Workers in a busy and supportive team.

We’re looking for a Head of Public Fundraising to lead our community fundraising, individual giving, legacy and lottery teams to achieve sustainable income growth and successful events, making even more impact for patients in our UHBW hospitals.

A strategic leader with extensive experience and a passion for fundraising, you’ll be able to lead by example, with proven experience of innovative supporter retention and acquisition. You’ll be an inspiring leader, who can act as coach and mentor to the team at the same time as being an effective manager. You will have experience of delivering outstanding stewardship and donor experience and working on or leading a charity lottery. Above all, we’re looking for someone who bring energy to this incredibly special role, have the ability to build strong connections and have a passion for their work and making a difference.

The Coventry Diocesan Board of Finance Ltd (DBF) manages the financial affairs and hold the assets of the Diocese and its associated entities as well as managing activities to serve and equip these parishes through various activities and projects. 

The Finance & Governance team handle all matters concerning Diocesan and Cathedral finance including the administration and collection of parish share, paying invoices and expenses, budgeting, annual statutory, management accounts, clergy stipends, staff salaries, advice to parishes on parochial finance matters. 

This role covers the full range of work in an accounting system dealing with input to and output from all ledgers with specific responsibility for the administration of parish shares and fees including the issuing of regular statements to parishes. The purpose is to ensure that the accounting system has accurate and timely financial data which is available to those who require it either for decision-making or for external reports and accounts.

Salary: £24,570.00 per annum, pro-rated

Contract: Fixed term contract ending September 2025

We're looking for an inspirational people person to join us as a Assistant Shop Manager in our Rutherglen shop. This is an exciting opportunity, and we'd like you to join us to help raise vital funds for homeless and badly housed people.

You will work closely with the Shop Manager to ensure the shop looks welcoming, visually appealing and the team of volunteers are motivated and keen to engage with customers and maximise sales.

About the role

You will assist the Shop Manager in the recruitment, support and development of a strong community focused shop team and empower them to maximise Shelter's income. Representing Shelter in your local community, ensuring that you and your team share your knowledge of Shelter's cause with customers, volunteers, donors and potential Shelter clients will also be important aspects of the role. You will always ensure a safe, clean, bright and happy environment for your team to work in and for your customers to shop in, in turn attracting potential donors and volunteers.

You are a naturally energetic person with an enthusiasm for managing and empowering people. You know how to recruit and develop a team of volunteers, and your extraordinary motivational skills will enable you to inspire your team to increase sales and control costs. Above all, you are ready to take on a new challenge and have a keen interest in Shelter's cause.

The Eikon Charity supports children and young people in Surrey to feel safe, heard, and supported. Through one-to-one support, group work, and programmes in schools, they help children build confidence, resilience, and the skills they will need to navigate life’s challenges.

This Trust Fundraiser role will join a three-person team within the broader Engagement function. With a 50/50 split between account management and new business, the postholder will manage a mix of warm and prospective funders, creating compelling proposals and impact reports to secure mostly restricted income.

As Trust Fundraiser, you will:

• Deliver c.£150k annually through a balance of account management and new business
• Write tailored funding proposals and detailed reports to secure restricted and unrestricted grants
• Steward relationships with clarity and professionalism, organising funder meetings and engagement opportunities
• Research and develop a pipeline of prospects, focusing on Surrey-based trusts and foundations
• Work closely with delivery and engagement teams to gather insight, data, and stories that bring proposals to life
• Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to reporting, planning, and internal analysis
• Support strategic planning for the team and contribute to a shared fundraising vision

Ideal skills and experience:

• Fundraising experience, with strengths in written communication and/or relationship management
• Proven ability to write persuasive funding proposals and impact reports, drawing on service delivery data
• Confident in meetings and able to represent an organisation to external stakeholders
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Good working knowledge of CRMs and Microsoft 365
• Interest in services supporting children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing
• A collaborative and proactive approach to working with colleagues across departments
