Overall Purpose of the Corporate Partnernersips and Philanthropy Manager

The Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager is an exciting new role, joining our small and expanding fundraising team.

This new role supports the delivery of our ambitious plans to develop and grow income from corporate partners including pharmaceuticals and major donors.  You will proactively lead on identifying, developing and delivering high and mid value partnerships. About the role
Mission Without Borders is seeking an experienced Salesforce Configuration Specialist to focus on three key areas; Configuring a new Salesforce platform, integration of existing platforms, and supporting users around the world.

As a Salesforce expert and product champion, the post holder will work closely with our existing Salesforce Support Specialists and Salesforce team, configuring the new system as well as being the first point of contact for Salesforce support across all staff in all 18 countries. Working with the system solution designs and architecture design documents created by the Salesforce Systems Architect, they will configure a brand-new Salesforce platform for program and beneficiary management. They will also need to ensure it is integrated with our existing NPSP donor management platform and works with other systems and services across the organisation.

In addition to configuration, they will triage incoming tickets, provide support, fix problems, make configuration changes, and work closely with our International Project Manager and Salesforce Developer and Product Owner to manage change requests. 

Who we are looking for 
You will have proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator and strong experience implementing new configurations from scratch. Educated to relevant degree level (or equivalent, or qualified by experience), be a certified Salesforce Admin, and have experience with NPSP. NPC would be an advantage. 

A logical thinker, excellent problem solver, and an ability to juggle multiple duties and prioritise competing tasks. You must be able to translate solution designs and technical designs into working solutions. 

You must be an excellent written and verbal communicator, have strong stakeholder management skills, and be excellent at customer service.

You must be an exceptionally competent English speaker and have the right to travel to the UK and work in one of the following countries: UK, Albania, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Switzerland or Ukraine.

About the Role

We are looking to hire a skilled and engaging Education Officer to join a busy team, supporting the implementation and expansion of an established educational outreach programme, which reaches children in Scotland and Northern England.

At present, this post has funding for three years from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, 1.5 years of which is now complete and we are looking for someone to deliver the second 1.5 years of the project.

The purpose of the role is to extend passion and knowledge of beavers into communities around Britain, to engage and enthuse young people and to reconnect (or reinforce) their love of nature. Using and tailoring current materials and resources, you will do so by delivering high-quality learning sessions within schools, community groups or virtual training sessions, sometimes delivered in conjunction with beaver site partners and their education teams.

You will also be responsible for supporting wider aspects of the programme together with the Education Team, according to the requirements for each country and in partnership with relevant organisations

Key responsibilities include:

· Deliver a range of exciting, curriculum-linked workshops, non-curriculum home education talks, school and group sessions associated with beaver release sites.

· Run regional events and outreach activities to expand engagement in beaver education.

· Network and build contacts and relationships with key personnel in schools, youth groups and community groups in order to create engagement with the education programme and expand its reach.

· Support the development of further resources, activities and events specific to the country and region, and deliver existing activities for group learning.

· Monitor, collate and report on work carried out, toward learning goals and impact reporting, coordinated by the Senior Education Officer to support the programme evaluation.

· Support volunteers and build capacity working with partner site staff in the delivery of beaver education programmes.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience of working with young audiences, preferably within a wildlife or conservation setting. · A foundation degree level or equivalent in a zoology, biology or conservation-related field, OR; A teaching/education qualification or equivalent experience in teaching, using different delivery methods including virtual delivery. · The ability to communicate complex concepts in an innovative and engaging way to a young audience.

· The skill set to inspire people to connect with nature, to support teachers, deliver talks, presentations and education sessions.

· Working knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies and procedures.

· Competent use of IT skills, preferably Google Suite, and high standards for visual content.

· Experience in confidently using IT packages for teaching delivery, including the use of tablets, presentation software and audiovisual.

· A full valid UK driving licence (you will be required to access remote rural locations carrying more equipment than can be handled on public transport)

· Resident in mainland Britain and proof of right to work in Britain.

The Role

Tasks and Responsibilities

You will support the Director of Operations and the wider staff team by:

• Handling day-to-day administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, booking travel and venues, ordering supplies, and keeping systems and records up to date.
• Providing operational support across the organisation – for example, setting up Zooms, responding to enquiries, keeping our staff directory current, or helping with room bookings and access.
• Assisting with HR administration such as onboarding new starters, booking training, keeping HR records, and supporting recruitment processes.
• Helping with database and records management, including updating spreadsheets or CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and pulling off simple reports.
• Supporting internal communications, such as keeping our policies and procedures well-organised, sharing reminders or updates, and circulating documents.
• Taking minutes at meetings when needed – including Board of Trustees meetings – and making sure decisions and action points are clearly recorded and followed up.
• Supporting governance and trustee engagement, such as helping to organise away days, induction processes or learning sessions for trustees.
• Working closely with the Director of Operations on other operational tasks that may arise, which could include areas like office management, HR, IT or governance – helping to make sure these run smoothly and efficiently.
• Working collaboratively as part of a small team and wider organisation with a willingness to undertake other tasks commensurate with the Operations Assistant role as agreed with your line manager.

Job Profile

The post holder will contribute to ensuring the Supporter Donations Team (SDT) manages and administers supporter donation activity on behalf of CAFOD, providing a high level of supporter care while delivering within agreed service levels and Key Performance Indicators. SDT has the overall responsibility for managing and thanking all supporter donations to CAFOD made through a variety of channels and schemes. SDT works within the Finance and infrastructure group, liaises across all teams in CAFOD, and external service providers to ensure donations are processed within agreed service levels and quality standards. Due to the nature of SDT’s role, SDT has particularly close ties to CAFOD Fundraising activities and actively engages in our fundraising programmes and schemes. 

Accountability 

The post holder reports to the Supporter Donations Manager and will work alongside a team of Supporter Donation Assistants, collectively delivering the team’s key aims and responsibilities. 

Key Responsibilities 

Supporter Care: 

• Handle telephone, email and postal enquiries from supporters; identifying and resolving queries in a prompt, warm and sensitive way. 

• Provide phone cover to the Supporter Care team as required. 

• Provide Reception training to the Supporter Care team as required. 

Donations: 

• Accurately code donations received, ensuring agreed departmental procedures are followed. 

• Process, set up and administer instructions and payments through a variety of donations channels and schemes such as Online, Direct Debit, standing orders, BACs, Payroll giving schemes and online giving platforms. 

• Input and maintain data on CAFOD’s supporter database, ensuring high degrees of accuracy on our donor records.

• File and archive financial data, while adhering to strict audit controls. 

Gift Aid: 

• Understand Gift Aid and its application within CAFOD. 

• Assist with all aspects of tax-effective giving, in accordance with agreed procedures and priorities, including preparation of regular tax claims for submission to HMRC. 

Thanking: 

• Produce and dispatch letters to thank and acknowledge donations received. 

• Write bespoke letters of thanks to supporters to respond to exceptional donations and provide a personal touch. 

• Contribute to ongoing enhancement and improvement of supporter thanking 

Post/banking: 

• Assist with all incoming and outgoing postal duties held by SDT to maximise effectiveness of processes and delivery of key service levels. 

• Preparation of daily banking, cash handling and initial reconciliation of all monies received daily.
