About the role
The Chief Executive Officer will play a vital role in driving the new NCVO strategic review, as well as our programme of transformational change. They must enable and fulfil NCVO’s vision, mission and strategic goals.
They will manage the reputation of NCVO, both through our relationships with our members, key stakeholders and the wider voluntary sector, and by being a spokesperson for NCVO through multiple face to face and media channels.
In this role they must be able to listen to, understand and reflect the concerns of the voluntary sector, offering thought leadership, while ensuring that NCVO is an efficient and financially sustainable organisation.

The Role
You will be joining a warm and collorative team of three, reporting to the Head Of Community and Engagement, and you would manage a remote Events and Community Fundraising Officer with excellent experience to oversee the delivery and expansion of the current portfolio raising c£300k+ a year.
The team are looking for someone creative and innovative as they are keen to identify and develop new opportunities across Community and Events Fundraising.
You would need to have a passion for providing excellent stewardship and want to develop and deliver supporter journeys to maximise participant engagement and fundraising income.
The Candidate
The team are looking for good experience of events (and ideally community) fundraising, in particular with developing overseas or large-scale mass participant events.
Experience with recruiting new volunteers and fundraisers from a range of channels, including digital platforms.
Experience of designing and delivering high impact stewardship programmes and delivering successful and engaging events.

2. Purpose of the Role
The core purpose of Finance Assistant’s role is to support the Finance and Resources team at Chance to Shine. The Finance and Resources team provide day to day support to all departments in the charity and trading subsidiary, Chance to Shine Enterprises Ltd, around finance, office, HR and general administration. The role is based at our London office with some working from home allowed.
3. Key Responsibilities
The Finance Assistant’s responsibilities include:
Finance
· Recording and analysing income and expenditure and posting transactions onto SAGE 50 Accounts
· Banking cash and cheques received
- Raising invoices and monitoring debtors
- Administering invoice approval and payment processes
· Operating expense claim procedures and payments
· Liaising with Fundraising team to reconcile income received with Raisers Edge
· Support delivery partner expenditure review process
· Support Finance & Resources department as required with ad hoc administrative support
General support
· To help monitor the finance inbox and respond to general enquiries.
· To help out, as required at Chance to Shine events, such as fundraisers, media events and Chance to Shine competitions.

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Overview
•Support the Supporter Retention Manger (Loyalty) to design and deliver MAP’s individual giving retention strategy. Including bespoke welcome and ongoing multi-channel supporter journeys, for UK and international supporters
•Support the Supporter Retention Manger (Loyalty) to review individual giving retention activities and supporter journeys – developing a strategic approach and annual planning with a focus on regular giving and growing life time value
•Champion an insight-driven, supporter-led approach across campaigns and collaborative projects
•Responsible for the day to day management of campaigns and projects
Campaign Management
•Work with the Supporter Retention Manager (Loyalty) to optimise MAP’s regular giving programme and supporter journeys across Individual Giving, through a variety of online and offline channels
•Support and project manage income and retention campaigns to our warm audiences to maximise income and loyalty. Including but not limited to: data segmentation, scheduling, feedback management, agency liaison, results monitoring and end of campaign analysis
•Work with the Individual Giving Officers (Cash, Digital, Legacy and Offline Acquisition) to provide the best supporter experience possible, tailoring to and identifying different audience segments
•Support with the development of audience segmentation and testing plans to improve life-time value, retention and multiple levels of support
•Ensure processes and systems are in place to track and meet KPIs, including development of robust testing plans to optimize campaigns based on insight
•Write compelling email copy, build and schedule email sends
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
•Build strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless campaign delivery and holistic supporter experience
•Manage the day-to-day relationships with external agencies and suppliers, including telemarketing agencies, print-houses, fulfilment houses and creative agencies etc

Collaboration and cross-organisation working
•Support the Supporter Retention Manager (Loyalty) to achieve strategic objectives including improving retention and growing annual income, monitor income and expenditure budgets and use database analysis to inform and improve the sustainability of fundraising
•Support cross-team and cross-organisational campaigns and projects, including the annual Impact Report
•Work with teams across MAP to source compelling stories, programmatic information and impact stats suitable for campaigns

Reporting and insights
•Championing a test and learn approach: identifying opportunities, developing tests and reporting on results
•Ensuring campaigns are set up in order to effectively track and monitor performance so lessons learned can be carried forward
•Reporting on campaign performance and conduct end-of-campaign reviews - analysing data to spot trends and make recommendations for future campaigns
•Proactively share insight and promote individual giving by internally communicating the impact of retention, supporter journeys and committed long-term supporters (regular giving)

•Experience of working in Individual Giving or Fundraising with a proven record of achieving income generation targets OR Experience of working in Individual Giving/Supporter Engagement with a proven record of developing supporter journeys, audience insight and retention campaigns that improved retention and sustainable income. • Ensure long-term donor connection

Deliver a diverse selection of communications to engage different audiences, with a clear plan for all members of the network. Ensure donors are connected to the Trust, value the Trust's activities and actively help fund opportunities.
• Reporting to the Trustees
Create an annual donor impact report to the Trustees, and other stakeholders such as alumni, that delineates donor statistics, reviews communications and events that have taken place during the past year and identifies potential prospects and events for developing in the coming year. Also provide a lower-level oral report of fundraising activities and communications to the Trustees at their quarterly meetings.
• Deliver income growth target

While this role can be based from anywhere in the UK, you will need to be able attend your Regional Treatment Centres on a regular basis and you’re likely to be travelling across your division 2-3 days per week.

About the Role
As a Divisional General Manager, you’ll provide both strategic and operational leadership across a geographical or functional division. Your focus will be on ensuring high-quality, safe, and client-centred services. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams to meet performance, quality, and access targets, all while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and staff wellbeing.
This is a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and innovation. You’ll support clinical governance and ensure financial sustainability by making efficient use of resources and delivering services within budget.
