• Take overall responsibility for the design, development and delivery of Digital Learning in Cats Protection

• Manage the development and maintenance of our Learner Management System (LMS) ensuring it is fit for purpose and providing support for the wider L&D team and learners.
• Develop data analysis to help L&D to understand leaners’ needs and experiences.

Leading the Education partnerships team,  responsibility for the development of all Educaiton customers and for maintaining the income generation and young people targets in line with the overall Trust strategy and annual requirements.

Who we’re looking for

A dynamic individual who is capable of balancing the mix of future vision with everyday demands.

This a senior management position which is responsible for the strategic direction and the leadership day to day operation of our extremely busy Education Team. The role requires you to be strategic but pragmatic, balancing the mission and purpose of The Trust with tactical day to day delivery of Sales support and partnership working across the organisation.

You will manage a team of up to ten direct reports, and will also need to build strong relationships across The Trust with fellow Senior Managers and Directors, and most specifically with our Centre Management teams, Fundraising and Marketing Teams. You will need to balance carefully the needs of our internal and external customers, allocating time and resources accordingly. Also, The Trust has a new strategic plan looking at growth of the number of young people we work with, including the recently launched Schools Adventure Programme.

Your experience

We would love you to have a strong background in Sales with proven effective results but also having commercial acumen and experience, with the ability to think and act strategically. You will have a minimum of three years experience of leading, managing and inspiring teams. A supportive approach to the development and coaching of the team is an essential element within this. 

The ability to work confidently and flexibly across all Trust departments, supporting where required. 

A solid knowledge of the Education Sector for both Scotland and England as well as proven relationship building skills, and enjoyment of working collaboratively across departments and at all levels through effective communication. 

Working for the Trust requires a Flexible ‘can-do’ attitude to workload, able to multitask and re-prioritise projects at short notice.

Areas of repsponsibility

• Leadership and management of the Education Team, providing direction, challenge, support and development as appropriate. This will also involve coaching and supporting the team in their professional development, as well as in the management and execution of sales targets.
• Development and ownership of The Education Team’s annual revenue target, specifically looking at Charitable funding levels, volumes and occupancy levels across all centres.
• Ownership of and responsibility for all aspects of the Education sector, ensuring that all aspects of marketing, sales, customer service, delivery and finance are reviewed and implemented to a high standard with the overall objective of informing greater impact for the clients
• Working collaboratively with Early Careers Business Development and Summer Adventures to share ownership of the current capacity levels. Ensuring optimum fill and a responsible client mix.
• Building strong relationships internally and externally. Developing and supporting the Education Team with new initiatives and lead generation ideas.

The Senior Research and Development Manager will play an important role in managing NCB’s research and evidence work, supporting our impact and growth and working across teams in a matrix environment. We’re looking for a dynamic, creative and highly organised individual to join The Hepatitis C Trust as our new Innovation and Implementation Manager. This exciting new role will drive forward our Inclusion Health agenda, helping us design, deliver and scale peer-led services that put lived experience at the heart of change. 

About the role 

The Innovation and Implementation Manager will lead on embedding new models of care within health systems — ensuring our peer-led projects are effectively planned, delivered and sustained. You’ll work closely with NHS and community partners, line manage Peer Leads and Coordinators, and oversee key projects including: 

• Liver Health Peer Support, improving early detection and surveillance for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). 

• Peer-led Needle and Syringe Provision (NSP) and wider harm reduction initiatives. 

You’ll manage project delivery, build strong partnerships, monitor outcomes, and share learning nationally to shape future approaches.

• Has experience in project delivery, innovation, or service improvement within health, social care, or the voluntary sector. 

• Understands the value of peer-led and lived experience approaches.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated major gifts fundraiser to join our small fundraising team to support our ambitious goal to raise £20 million in support of the Be the Spark campaign.

This role is perfect for a collaborative self-starter who wants to make an impact, working at all levels of the organisation to maximise the relationships that will enable the Ri to succeed. You will be used to managing a portfolio of donors or high value clients and be comfortable working with donors at the highest levels. 

You will collaborate across the Ri to develop innovative and compelling proposals, delivering excellent account management and stewardship to existing donors, and identifying, researching and cultivating new prospects.

If you are a warm, professional and engaging communicator, adept at managing a portfolio of high net worth donors  and able to work at all levels of the organisation to cultivate and develop influential  relationships, we would love to hear from you.

This role is full time (35 hours), permanent and requires a willingness to travel, including some overnight stays and occasional weekends. Requests to work flexibly or part-time will be considered.

Main responsibilities

• Proactive cultivation of potential major donors
• Identifying and researching donors and funding opportunities and building a strong pipeline for cultivation
• Managing Patrons programme
• Providing excellent stewardship of donors including reporting

About you:

Essential:

• Confidence in talking fluently about money in a professional environment
• Experience of building excellent relationships and networks both internally and externally

• Able to tackle challenges constructively, and find creative ways forward

Desirable:

• Substantial demonstrable experience working in a fundraising position in the cultural or similar sector,
• Demonstrable experience of maximising opportunities from researching prospects to generating meetings, and securing income
• Experience leading a giving club or members networking group
• Individual Giving/Patron/Major Donor/Legacy fundraising experience, securing 6-figure donations.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Financial Accountant to support the financial accounting and compliance functions of the College.

This is an important role within the Finance team, supporting the College’s mission to improve child health by ensuring the integrity of financial information, robust financial controls, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Working closely with the Financial Accountant and wider finance team, you will take responsibility for key accounting processes including payroll, tax, treasury management, and monthly financial reconciliations. You will play a vital role in maintaining accurate and timely financial records, supporting audit preparation, and ensuring that all financial operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the integrity of financial systems and ensuring accurate, timely accounting entries and reconciliations
• Supporting the Financial Accountant in preparing key balance sheet reconciliations, including fixed assets, investments, accruals, prepayments and deferred income
• Assisting with internal and external audit processes and the preparation of group statutory accounts
• Processing monthly payroll and pension submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Supporting VAT, corporation tax and Gift Aid returns, and ensuring all submissions are completed on time
• Managing banking and treasury activities, including cash flow monitoring and reconciliation of company credit cards
• Providing administrative support for finance systems, including user access and coding updates
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including system developments and process efficiency projects

Essential skills and experience:

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CCAB or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in financial accounting or operations roles, ideally within the charity, not-for-profit or public sector
• Experience supporting statutory accounting, audit preparation, payroll, pensions and VAT returns
• Strong understanding of financial controls and reconciliation processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Desirable:

• Knowledge of charity accounting and regulatory requirements, including SORP
• Experience using Business Central or similar ERP/financial systems
