We are looking for Senior Operations Contracts Lead

Salary: £38,000 per year, this may be negotiable for the right person

Location: Based across multiple locations with the flexibility to work from home up to two days each week. The three key locations for this role are Portsmouth, Caversham and Bedfordshire. The expectation is that a minimum of three days per week are spent in face-to-face, in-person contact (e.g. in Women’s Centres, Estates or external visits), and one of these days being a monthly visit to Head Office (the purpose being for interaction with colleagues and Central functions). Visits also required to HMP Peterborough and HMP Bronzefield.

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract: Fixed Term - until 31st March 2027

About the role:

As an experienced senior manager with a proven track record of leadership in providing services to women in contact with the criminal justice system and working with partners and funders, you will manage criminal justice projects, work to develop and expand our services and partnerships and manage criminal justice managers and other staff as required.

You will work with the management team to ensure, manage and oversee that the services work within the budget, are complaint with financial regulations, policies and procedures, and meet funding and Advance requirements.

About You:

To be successful as the Senior Operations Contracts Lead you will need the below experience and skills:

A thorough understanding of and knowledge of the issues relating to women in the criminal justice system

• A sound knowledge of safeguarding adult and children principles, child abuse, child protection issues and safeguarding
• A good knowledge and understanding of organisational systems and frameworks, line management and project management
• Significant experience, likely to have been gained over several years, of strategic planning and operational management at a service manager level, and developing and delivering services at senior service management level
• Significant experience of working with women and/or service users with a complex range of needs, particularly within the criminal justice system, in custody and/or community.
• Experience of developing relationships with funders/commissioners and achieving required outcomes
• Experience of implementing quality assurance frameworks, monitoring, evaluating and measuring impact
• Strong influencing skills, enthusiasm, self-confidence, excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills , and a can do proactive solution focussed approach
• Strong negotiating skills and the ability to build strong and effective relationships and partnerships, dealing with ambiguity and resolving conflict effectively, achieving the right outcomes for the organisation, collaborating and networking
• Able to think, act and plan strategically to develop practical and creative solutions to the management of existing and new services and complex problems that may arise while maintaining high levels of diplomacy and professionalism

About the Role

As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to the Victims preferences i.e. home visits or via conference calls, to explain our services, and assess the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.

As a Caseworker you will:

• Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
• Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
• Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
• Keep accurate & confidential case records.

About You

You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.

You will need:

• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Competent IT skills, able to use generic systems.
• Good organisational & time management skills, able to manage competing needs and priorities.
• To work effectively both as part of a team & independently
• To develop & maintain partnerships with internal & external organisations.

You will be a key member of the Housing First team in South Tyneside, delivering intensive support to a small number of individuals with multiple disadvantage to move from homelessness to sustaining a tenancy. You will need to form links with partner organisations and agencies and your role will be fundamental in supporting someone on their journey through Housing First, supporting five[TG1]  clients at any one time.

About you

You will need experience of support work, a proven ability to listen to, engage and work with individuals and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, especially substance misuse services, health and probation and people with lived experience of homelessness. You will have an awareness of working in a trauma informed, strengths based approach to help people with multiple disadvantage, as well as having experience of writing and implementing person centred support plans and writing detailed case-notes.  Also, you have flexible time management skills and are comfortable collaborating with people from other teams and organisations.

We have an exciting opportunity for two Service Delivery Assistants to join WeMatter - our established and growing pan-England digital service for children & young people who have experienced domestic abuse.

These are home-based roles, working 37.5 hours, on a fixed term contract until 31^st July 2027.

About the role:

As a Service Delivery Assistant you will:

• Provide high quality administrative support to the team and service.
• Update and maintain manual and computerised database and case management systems and records in accordance with the service's internal policies/procedures and organisational standards.
• Manage general queries into the service.
• Collate and supply information and correspondence to internal and external contacts in accordance with required deadlines.
• Liaise with referring agencies to improve referral information and the general referral process for victims. May include following up to secure information included in incoming referrals.
• Provide general office administration support which could include photocopying, filing, data entry, ordering of office supplies, processing invoices, raising purchase orders and minute taking at meetings.
• Help to coordinate appointments and sessions held by our CYP Programme Facilitators.

We’re looking for a Communities Development Coordinator to support, develop and grow student-led societies, sports clubs and other communities at Arts SU. This role is all about helping students get involved, whether that’s through joining a student group, planning and running events or stepping up as a student leader. You’ll be the first point of contact for over 100 student groups, providing tailored support, training and advice to help them thrive. From processing finance requests and booking spaces to helping deliver key events like Welcome Fair, Varsity, and Awards, you’ll make sure students and colleagues have what they need to succeed. You’ll oversee student group elections, manage the promotion of opportunities, and work with colleagues across UAL to create inclusive spaces where students are welcomed and engaged.

We want someone organised and approachable, who loves working with students. You should have experience planning and delivering events or projects, and ideally some knowledge of community development in education or the third sector. Good communication skills are key – you’ll be supporting a wider range of student leaders and need to explain processes in simple accessible ways. You’ll also need to be confident working with budgets and able to manage competing priorities. Flexibility and a positive, problem solving attitude are essential, as you’ll often be working on multiple tasks or helping students troubleshoot challenges. More importantly, you’ll be someone who values inclusivity, enjoys collaborating with colleagues and students, and doesn’t mind working the occasional evening or weekend when big events are happening.

JOB PURPOSE

• Engage students to participate in activities and events by supporting and developing student-led societies and sports clubs, volunteering and other student communities.

Respect is the UK charity stopping perpetrators of domestic abuse. As part of our 2023–2028 Strategy, we are launching a new Centre for Excellence – a bold initiative to transform understanding of what works to end the perpetration of domestic abuse. Building on 25 years of innovation and leadership, the Centre will harness collective learning, foster collaboration beyond traditional partnerships, and create the evidence base for a radical shift in approach. 

The Centre for Excellence will drive two key outcomes: 

• Improved practice in developing and delivering safe, effective perpetrator responses. 

• Enhanced policymaking and commissioning informed by data, research, and best practice. 

About the Role 
We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic leader to shape and deliver this visionary initiative. You will set the strategic direction, establish a sustainable delivery and funding model, and lead early implementation work. Acting as a visible leader across Respect and beyond, you will connect our existing expertise with the Centre’s mission, and build strong partnerships with members, the VAWG sector, academia, and other stakeholders.

You will bring strategic vision, experience of mobilising new initiatives, and deep knowledge of research, data, and practice in the domestic abuse perpetrator sector (or a related field). This is a unique opportunity to create lasting impact and drive systemic change.
