As a part time Community Engagement Co-ordinator at Wimbledon Guild you will work across Merton to support older people to access our exercise and social activities.
You will be an important member of our team, helping us deliver our organisational aims of preventing loneliness and isolation and helping older people stay active and healthy.
You will be the lead driver for our team, driving our accessible vehicle to transport disabled people to various classes and groups.
You will also be responsible for helping to co-ordinate the wide range of activities we provide every week, working with colleagues and volunteers to make sure everything runs smoothly.
You will work in partnership with community organisations including statutory services, libraries and councillors, as well as our volunteers, class leaders and other voluntary organisations working with older or disabled people.
You will be a team player comfortable in a wide range of social situations and excited to take on a role within our dynamic and creative team, and looking to make the role your own.
You will have great communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds.
As our lead driver you will need to have a full clean driving licence and be aged over 25 due to our insurance requirements.
This is a part time role, for 19 hours per week which we would like you to work over 3 or 4 days including a full day on Tuesdays.
You will have experience of working with older people, but you might have a varied background, you might be someone looking to change career to the voluntary sector or starting out in a career with older people or activity management, you might bring experience of different groups in our community, or you might be nearing retirement and/or have family/caring responsibilities.

About Resilient Water Accelerator (RWA)
The climate crisis is a water crisis. Around the world, people are feeling the effects of climate change through water, including flooding, droughts, sea level rise, and irregular rainfall. Climate change is affecting seasonal and long-term water availability, meaning we can no longer rely on rain, river flows and aquifers. The Global Commission on the Economics of Water has said that the world is facing the prospect of a 40% shortfall in freshwater by 2030; and water and wastewater contribute 10% of global emissions. To adapt to this new reality and build resilience to the impacts of climate change, we need to re-think how water resources are managed and delivered for different users over time. This provides an exciting opportunity to rethink how we create investment opportunities that promote resilient water management for people and the planet.
The Resilient Water Accelerator is designed to increase the flow of private and public finance into water projects that help the most climate-vulnerable communities build resilience to climate change. Despite the high need, only 3% of total climate finance flows go towards water. Our mission is to demonstrate the business case for increased and enhanced public and private investment in water-related deals in emerging economies that strengthen resilience for climate-vulnerable communities and are replicable so that millions more can benefit. We are working to increase the speed, scale and replicability of water investment by creating a pipeline of bankable projects, bringing together the right mix of financing with the right commercial structures and partners, and supporting improvements in the enabling environment. We are undertaking work to understand local markets and context, develop templates, shared resources, and data, to build proof of concept projects to provide a springboard for increased action on resilient water. And we are developing thought leadership on how to make water more investible.
About the RWA team
The Resilient Water Accelerator (RWA), wholly owned subsidiary of WaterAid, is a global organisation that aims to:
- Address the climate impacts on water to strengthen resilience in vulnerable communities.
- Secure greater investment from public and private sources in water infrastructure and services.
- Ensure this work can be replicated and scaled to increase long term water security.
To achieve this, we work with policy makers, experts, investors and communities to identify critical climate risks to water and shape a business case for priority projects.
We work to ensure these projects act as positive examples of a new approach to programme development in the water and climate sectors.
This role will play an essential part in delivering our international programme of work.
About the role
As our Admin Officer, you will play a critical role in our Global Platform team — helping to link the different parts of the Resilient Water Accelerator (RWA) together and co-ordinate with our partners around the world to drive sustainable change.
The Resilient Water Accelerator is a newly formed not-for-profit organisation, which, as a wholly owned subsidiary of WaterAid, means both organisations retain a close and collaborative relationship. This is an exciting opportunity to be on the ground floor as we build new structures and culture for this unique startup organisation, as it works towards delivering on its mission.
In this role, you will:
Provide support and solutions as the RWA puts in place new structures and systems
o You will work with SMT to explore the practical and regulatory steps towards building our own high-performing systems.
o Help develop solutions to interfacing with WaterAid’s systems (e.g. financial and HR).
Take the lead in engaging with WaterAid’s finance processing systems
o Process payments
o Develop contracts and due diligence
o Prepare invoices and work with the team to develop budget forecasts
o Ensure quality and consistency of our financial reporting
Support SMT and wider team
o Help with the monitoring and co-ordination of SMT meetings, action and responsibilities
o Support planning and project management across the team
o Support in the design and maintenance of a shared platform with core information and contacts, key information and core RWA documents.

o Provide support to the Chief Executive of the RWA
o Provide support to the newly established RWA Board of Directors, through the Board Secretariat function

Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
- Ability to act on your own initiative to ensure momentum of our work is maintained

Out of Trust Team: You will be working as part of a brand-new, clinically led Out of Trust Team within the Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust (BSMHFT). Although employed and managed by Birmingham Mind, you will be working as part of an integrated clinical team. You will be working with individuals who are currently admitted in independent out-of-area rehabilitation placements and repatriate them back to local services within the Trust or their local geographical areas. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, made up of medical and psychology professionals, local authority and housing experts. This role is not limited to the Birmingham area, and you will be expected to travel outside of this area. A full driving licence and the use of a vehicle is essential for this role.
Intensive Community Rehabilitation Team: You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary clinically led Intensive Community Rehabilitation Team within Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust and as such although the service manager employed by Birmingham Mind will be your line manager you will be working as part of an integrated clinical and psychology team. You will be working in partnership with people who are experiencing mental health difficulties who are currently living in their own accommodation within the Birmingham area and require a period of intensive rehabilitation. Your support of individuals will be a person-centred recovery approach that focuses on developing, maintaining, and strengthening individuals’ skills, abilities, and personal resilience.
Ideally you will be QCF/NVQ level 3 qualified or have a willingness to work towards this qualification. It is essential that you have an empathy for people experiencing mental health
issues and are committed to service user involvement and empowerment. You will have a good understanding of equal opportunities, confidentiality, safeguarding and health & safety.
You will need to be flexible due to the shift patterns which include evenings and weekends. Shift patterns include 9.00am - 5.00pm and 12.00pm to 8.00pm.

The Head of Finance is a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) of Modern Art Oxford and is responsible for managing and reporting on the finances of the charity, acting as Company Secretary.
The role is supported by the Senior Finance Officer and Finance Assistant.
Responsibilities
Finance
- To work closely with the Director on the preparation of the business plan and to take a leading role within SMT on monitoring and reporting to ensure its successful delivery.
- To lead on budgeting processes including three- to five-year plans, detailed annual budgets, cash flow forecasts and in-year re-forecasts.
- To be responsible for reporting on the overall financial position of the organisation, including the statutory accounts, management accounts and reports to budget-holders, ensuring that budgets are adhered to, that cash flow is managed, that effective cost control mechanisms are in place, that revenue is maximised and that there is timely and accurate financial reporting to SMT and the Board of Trustees.
- To ensure that best practice, statutory and organisational requirements are met in the operation of financial controls, the management of funds, charity accounting, Endowments Funds and investments, and taxation.
- To ensure the safety and security of the organisation’s financial assets.
- To prepare and submit the annual Museums & Galleries Exhibition Tax Relief (MGETR) submission, Gift Aid and all other tax rebates.
- To liaise with the external auditors for the annual audit of the statutory accounts and management of the pensions and other professional financial services as required, being the main contact in the organisation for the bank, auditors and pension providers.
- To liaise with pension trustees and other employers of the PSATSA closed defined benefit scheme, including triennial revaluations and negotiation of affordable repayments, reporting to the Trustees and Director.
- To work in close partnership with the Director and the capital project management team, to manage and report on the financial aspects of any future capital projects, reporting to the Director and the Capital Sub-Committee of the Board of Trustees, and managing all related financial administration.

Purpose of the post
The Engagement and Involvement Lead will engage with young people, families, schools and other interest-holders in the process of designing, delivering and ensuring the best outputs from the Adolescent Health Study, and is critical for the success of the project. We are at the early stages of laying the foundations for this and in this new role we are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to co-ordinate and lead AHS’s cross-UK participant and public involvement and engagement activities.
This is a role that requires high levels of confidence, autonomy, enthusiasm and skill. The postholder will be responsible for delivering the project’s new Engagement and Involvement Strategy, including: establishing and coordinating a Young Persons’ Advisory Group for AHS; developing and delivering AHS public engagement and involvement activities; outsourcing and supervising engagement and involvement activities that are better provided by external partners; scoping and advising on which routes for involvement and engagement activities are best suited to different tasks.

· Ensuring the study delivers the values and approaches set out in the AHS engagement and involvement strategy

The Royal Air Force Museum is seeking an Audio Visual Technician with experience in Stage Lighting and Rigging to work with the Event Technician, to use our in-house equipment, for the Commercial and Public Events programs.

You will provide client directed, person centred support to help young people achieve personal goals and aspirations for independent living, training, employment, and education. You will assist and collaborate with young people to create and carry out a support plan designed around their needs and aspirations, providing information and inspiration, practical support, innovation, and encouragement. You will have an individual caseload but will work alongside a team of Support Workers, with similar client groups, working to the same principles and goals.
Our Organisation
You will work a combination of office, client-home, community, and home-based working. Causeway is a 4-day week employer, and this role is part-time 16 hours per week, worked over 3 days. Your working hours will be Wednesdays 11am-3pm, Thursdays 10am-4:30pm (with an unpaid 30 minute break), and Fridays 10am-4pm (with an unpaid 30 minute break). About You
You will have experience of working in support, supported housing or advice services. You will have experience of supporting young people to develop aspirations and form healthy relationships. You have a drive for and commitment to equal rights and diversity. You have knowledge of the issues confronting young people and the needs of vulnerable homeless people in general, with a sound knowledge of safeguarding and risk assessments. You love to work in a client- centred way and plan your work and deadlines to get the best for your clients. You are flexible, creative, and offer a personalised approach to your clients. You are a team-player, and you are passionate about driving your own performance and development at work.
