Single Homeless Project (SHP) and Islington Council are proud to introduce St. John’s Mansions - a brand-new, purpose-built accommodation service that will provide safe, high-quality housing for individuals experiencing homelessness and facing multiple exclusion. This innovative project is backed by the GLA’s Single Homelessness Accommodation Programme (SHAP) 2022–2025, and represents a bold step forward in tackling homelessness across North London. SHP are building a dynamic, compassionate, and forward-thinking team to bring this vision to life.
St. John’s Mansions will offer 19 beautifully finished self-contained studio flats, designed to support residents in their journey from rough sleeping and emergency accommodation to independent living. With a stay of up to 24 months, residents will receive tailored, high-intensity support to help them build the skills and confidence needed to thrive independently.
The service will operate 24/7, with a welcoming reception and dedicated staff & clients spaces to enable both structured interventions and spontaneous, meaningful engagement. SHP will be working not only within Islington but in partnership with five North London boroughs - Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, and Westminster. This is more than just housing – it is a bridge to a better future. About the role:
As a Project Worker – Complex Needs, you’ll be at the heart of Single Homeless Project's (SHP) mission to end homelessness in London, working within our short-stay accommodation services that offer safety, stability, and a fresh start for people rebuilding their lives. Each day you’ll work alongside clients who have experienced homelessness and are navigating challenges such as substance use, mental health issues, trauma and physical health concerns. Through trust, persistence and creativity, you’ll help them access and sustain safe accommodation, reconnect with essential services, and take meaningful steps towards lasting independence.

About you:
- Experience of working or supporting vulnerable people, rough sleepers or people with mental health, physical health or substance use support needs.
- A non-judgemental approach to working with people facing multi-disadvantages and the skill to promote a strengths-based approach to case work and person-centred engagement.
- Strong team-working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a collaborative approach to delivering service objectives.
- Strong time management skills, ability to manage a caseload of clients, work on own initiative, manage competing priorities and maintain high standards.

The Role
This position will support the Education and Workforce team in its mission to build a thriving, diverse physics teaching community and will see you support the operational delivery of the Scholarships Programme, including the recruitment, assessment and selection of Scholars, and the two-year support programme.
What will I be doing?
Working for our Strategic Implementation Manager the focus will be on leading on the operational delivery of the IOP Teacher Training Scholarships. Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing support to the Strategic Implementation Manager in relation to the Scholarships budget, including creating budget forecasts and quarterly invoices.
- Working with our internal Marketing Department to shape the marketing programme and evaluating the effectiveness of our various advertising channels – including our webinar series.
- To manage applications, including setting up and maintaining the online application form, screening ineligible candidates, obtaining references from referees, collating applications for the shortlisting process and assessment panels.
- Data management and storage, including providing data and analysis to facilitate monthly/quarterly reporting and invoicing to the DfE, ensuring candidate and Scholar data is captured, maintained and deleted according to the IOP policy guidelines, supporting the tracking of scholars through their initial training and into teaching. Including, supervising the consultant in charge of the data capture of the status and wellbeing of Scholars.
Who will I work with?
You will be line managed by the Strategic Implementation Manager and support the Manager Teaching Workforce in the delivery of their projects.
Ideally, we hope you’ll apply if your skills include:
Essential Criteria
- Experience of working in a project-based environment with significant internal and external stakeholder interest. Note that formal project management qualifications are not a requirement.
- Sustained and confident working knowledge of MS Excel and handling data
- Skilled in the administration and PM of multiple projects and ensuring quality assurance through evaluation, reporting and monitoring processes and documentation.
Nice to have
- This role does not require physics subject knowledge or teaching experience, but these would be an advantage.
- Website maintenance experience
- Experience using customer relationship management software, such as Salesforce.

About Woman's Trust
Woman’s Trust was established almost thirty years ago and is the leading specialist in mental health services for women. Led by and for women, it aims to ensure that women affected by domestic abuse can live a safe and healthy life, free from further harm. About the role
As a Counselling Project Administrator, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient project administration of Woman’s Trust Counselling services.
This role is part-time, working 28 hours per week to cover a period of maternity leave with a start date of December 2025.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, pro-active and highly organised Governance Administrator to support the efficient running of our governance arrangements. In this role, you will coordinate and provide high quality support to our committee programme and other key processes such as our grant funding and abstract competitions at Association conferences.
The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting the Association’s governance and operational activities. Collaborating closely with the senior management team, committee Chairs and senior stakeholders, you will contribute directly to the success and impact to the charity.

Role Description
Office Administration:
- Work with the SLT to implement and maintain core policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including risk assessments, audits, certifications, and training (fire drills, first aid, evacuation procedures).
- Liaise with tenants and landlords to uphold appropriate processes and procedures.
- Manage data processing, GDPR compliance, and act as the organisation’s Data Protection Officer.
- Oversee office supplies and supplier management, ensuring best value in all contracts and services.
- Handle incoming enquiries via phone and email.
Facility Management:
- Conduct regular building checks (fire alarm tests, PAT testing, etc.) to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
