Role Summary

Administration

Finance
- Be responsible for APD budgets including raising sales invoices, reconciling payments and managing deferred income
- Follow anti-money laundering procedures to ensure APD sales are compliant with legislation
- Ensure all finance and operations processes and procedures are rigorously implemented in collaboration with the Finance & Operations team
- Produce budget forecasts for APD and provide monthly updates on current financial position to the Deputy CEO and Head of Budgets, Contracts & Policy
- Chase debtors and regularly report any overdue payments to the Finance team
Strategy
- Contribute to the APD growth strategy through ideas and practical solutions
- Work with the APD team and Deputy CEO in the development of new programmes, routes to market and audience development
Communications
- Help to maintain strong communication channels with all partner organisations and customers
- Provide administrative support in developing regional networks, contacts and partners

We are looking for a new team member to provide full administrative and programme support to the Employment & Careers team. About the PVRI
We’re a small charity with a global reach and an important purpose: to reduce the burden of pulmonary vascular disease.
PVD is a serious condition which can lead to heart damage and trigger symptoms like breathlessness, chest pain, fatigue, poor growth, fainting and light-headedness. It can reduce both quality of life and length of life, but it isn’t widely recognised, or well-understood.
We bring together an international network of professionals to improve clinical care, education and PVD research. The network comprises thousands of clinicians, scientists, academics and industry partners, supported by our small team in Bermondsey, London. Together we deliver conferences, e-learning, an academic journal, and we raise awareness of the condition.
Much of the work is done by international working groups, and we’re seeking a new Project Coordinator to provide administrative and project support to those groups.
About the role
The job involves co-ordinating and servicing meetings across different time zones, maintaining workgroup records, developing surveys, pulling together academic papers for publication, event planning, and project work.
We’re looking for someone with excellent organisational and administrative skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to write and adapt complex information to produce clear, accurate and accessible documents in English. This varied role uses event and programme management skills to deliver excellent service in a fast paced environment within the Christian sector as we advance the work of The Maclellan Foundation, one of the largest Christian family foundations in the USA. The successful candidate will have excellent administration skills, with a minimum of 2 years experience, and will be engaged in the Christian faith and excited by the aims of the organisation.
Objectives/Key Tasks:
To provide event and project-specific administrative support in an accurate, timely and professional manner, including:
- Planning and co-ordinating multiple programmes, to ensure milestones are met to an excellent standard
- Conducting research, assembling and analysing data to prepare reports and documents
- Preparing and editing written correspondence, communications, presentations, publicity etc
- Managing booking and registration processes
- Managing and updating various databases on a regular basis
- Onsite event management; helping set up and run events as well as providing delegate support
- Providing customer service support, via phone and email
- Managing and maintaining schedules, appointments and travel arrangements
- Arranging and coordinating meetings, including minute taking
- Reviewing operating practices and implementing improvements where necessary
- Processing expenses and maintaining project budgets in liaison with the Finance Manager
- Providing administrative support to the Director and all projects and events undertaken by NJC
- Website oversight and any other duties as required

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Director of Global Mission, this focal coordinating role within our Global Mission Team (GMT) will ensure the effective functioning of the GMT by offering:
• Administrative support to the Director
• Team-wide Coordination
• Programme Support for cross-regional initiatives
Due to the coordinating nature of this role, the post holder will need to work in close collaboration with other members of the Global Mission Team as well as effectively liaise with members of the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising (CEF) team as well as the Finance and Operations (FO) team.
About You
You are a highly organised administrator with excellent team coordination skills. You are confident and creative and can offer the necessary operational, administrative and programme support that can see things through from conception to full implementation.
As a focal part of the team, you will have significant awareness and appreciation of team dynamics. You will demonstrate considerable cross-cultural awareness and are able to demonstrate both an aptitude for collaborative teamwork as well as the ability to work independently on your own initiative. It is expected that the postholder will have considerable experience of working in the church/charity sector and a fair understanding of contemporary global challenges.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a track record of strengthening team efficiency through meticulous attention to detail, aptitude for operational oversight and demonstrated project coordination experience to exercise their gifts within the context of a global Anglican mission agency. This role involves preparing reports for management and trustees including relevant paperwork.

We work with more than 90% of mental health service providers in the UK and focus on four key areas: quality networks, accreditation, national clinical audits, and research and evaluation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a career in quality improvement (QI) in mental health services. We run an exciting series of QI programmes and national clinical audits, which provide important data that are driving forward improvements in patient care.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in data analysis, excellent organisational, report writing and communication skills. Responsibilities will include assisting with the design of data collection tools, the analysis of large datasets, writing national and other reports to a deadline, liaising with healthcare professionals and assisting in the organisation of events. Experience of using SPSS or other software for statistical and data analysis is essential.
