Role Summary

The main function of the School Engagement Coordinator role is to

• The School Engagement Coordinator for Northern Ireland serves as a crucial liaison for the Into Film programme in the region. This role involves actively engaging with schools and educators to promote and support their participation in various initiatives related to film, games, and creative media.
• The Engagement Coordinator will be instrumental in ensuring that schools and teachers have access to the full range of educational resources, training, and opportunities offered by Into Film. They will collaborate closely with the Northern Ireland team to provide tailored support and foster meaningful connections between schools, the creative arts, and the industry.

Given the nature of the role, the Co-ordinator may need to work occasional weekends and extended hours, as well as travel regularly to designated regions and occasionally elsewhere in the UK.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Proactively engage with schools, teachers, and educational stakeholders across Northern Ireland to raise awareness of Into Film's programmes and resources.
• Deliver a range of educational activities, including school workshops, screenings and industry events, tailored to the needs of the local area.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with schools, creative organisations, and screen industry bodies to support the delivery of Into Film's initiatives in NI.
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of Northern Ireland-specific programmes, including Story Builder, Games, Teaching with Film, Careers and Progression, and Young Creatives.
• Collaborate with teams across Into Film to ensure a joined-up approach to programme delivery, KPI achievement, and budgetary oversight.
• Ensure that Into Film's programmes respond to local needs and reach across Northern Ireland, while also feeding into the organization's UK-wide initiatives.
• Manage local partnerships and relationships, utilising CRM (Salesforce) to input and analyse data, create reports, and inform programme design.
• Support the existing Northern Ireland team with the delivery of locally funded projects and initiatives.
• Any other reasonable duties assigned by Into Film.

General Responsibilities:

Person Specification:

Minimum Requirements:

• Significant experience in designing and delivering engaging educational programmes, including youth workshops and industry-facing events.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Northern Ireland education system, curriculum, and the local creative/screen industries.
• A track record of establishing and nurturing partnerships with schools, organisations, and industry stakeholders.
• Proven ability to successfully manage projects, including cross-departmental collaboration, budget oversight, and timely delivery.
• Experience in using data to generate reports, analyse programme impact, and inform future initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the capacity to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

We are looking for a Sports Administrator to support us during our BUCS season! Flexible around your hours of study, the role involves the admin surrounding BUCS Wednesdays for our sports teams. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide operational support to our sports clubs that enables them to both fulfil and host British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) fixtures against other universities, including the organisation of transport, facility bookings, registering individuals and teams for competitions, submitting results, and hiring of officials.
2. Be the first point of contact for all queries from students and other universities in relation to club administration and fixtures.
3. Provide effective training to students on using the BUCS play system, and using the system effectively to ensure fixtures and team sheets are accurate. 
4. Provide administrative support to the rest of Northampton SU staff to support various events and projects throughout the year, including an annual awards evening, Varsity and various promotional and outreach activities designed to support recruitment.
5. Ensure that finance processes followed for all fixture related expenditure. This includes raising PO numbers, processing invoices, making credit card payments, using online payment systems and the ability to keep accurate financial records.
6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of sport and physical activity at Northampton SU, by contributing in team meetings, providing creative ideas and participating in projects and cross team working groups as appropriate.

Purpose of job

To lead Wikimedia UK’s work with the education sector, focusing on secondary schools, and including universities and non-formal education. Create a step change in the scale and impact of our education work.

Main Duties

1. Programme Development and Delivery

• Lead on the development and delivery of Wikimedia UK’s education programme, in collaboration with the Director of Programmes and Evaluation and other colleagues
• Build on our learning from past and existing activities across Wikimedia UK and the wider movement to develop and roll out a new Wikimedia and information literacy programme for the UK’s secondary school sector; adapting this for the four nations as appropriate
• In conjunction with other Programmes staff, support the delivery of information literacy projects within higher education, through existing and new strategic partnerships as well as smaller projects and interventions such as Wikimedia in the Classroom courses
• Develop and deliver a range of information literacy activities

• Run and evaluate the pilots of our work in schools
• Report regularly on programme plans, outputs and outcomes, in collaboration with other staff in the Programmes team

Key duties

• Assist in the planning and implementation of individual giving campaigns that deliver sustainable income growth and long-term donor engagement

About the role

The Group Work Facilitator will play a pivotal role in delivering the CouRAGEus Project, an initiative designed to support Black and Global Majority young women, LGBTQ+ youth, and disabled young people. The role involves facilitating safe, inclusive, and empowering group work sessions that foster emotional resilience, healthy relationships, and self-advocacy.

The Facilitator will provide a trauma-informed, culturally responsive space where participants can explore issues such as mental health, well-being, consent, and social justice. By collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and tailoring interventions to meet diverse needs, the Facilitator will help participants build confidence, develop skills, and navigate challenges while promoting their overall safety and empowerment.

The collaborative and ambitious National Unified Renal Translational Research Enterprise (NURTuRE) biobank is a unique resource with a central role to play in delivering the charity’s strategy. NURTuRE is an industry-standard resource of patient samples and linked clinical data with the clear potential to significantly accelerate discoveries and enable a transformation in our ability to prevent, predict and treat kidney disease.

We now require an experienced professional to lead, develop and maximise the research and commercial opportunities offered by this unique resource. Ultimately, it must be utilised to accelerate the delivery of new diagnostic and treatment discoveries that will improve kidney health.

The director of NURTuRE will report to the chief research officer. Key internal relationships will be built with the chief operating officer, the executive lead for translation innovation and enterprise and the director of research operations. It will also involve working with external scientists, clinicians and biobank/data experts as well as with patients and key external stakeholders including major funders, industry and academic institutions.

The appointee will possess an agile, flexible and entrepreneurial / business development approach with excellent networking skills, to support the delivery of all aspects of the NURTuRE biobanking programme. The post-holder will also manage the NURTuRE Strategy Group and oversee applications for access to both data and samples.

There will be a requirement for the post-holder to understand the research landscape, horizon-scan for new opportunities and facilitate and develop new cohorts for inclusion within the NURTuRE programme.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Senior Data and Insights Officer you will work with the Chief Impact Officer, within our Impact Team. Responsiblities will include: 

Database Usage and Reporting

• Support our Salesforce Lead in creating reports and dashboards, ensuring all data is relevant, accurate and secure.  
• Use our database management system to generate reports and data analysis for the Senior Management Team, and other internal colleagues, to support marketing campaigns, fundraising campaigns, statutory information requests and organisational insight.
• Enhance our data analysis and reporting by developing predictive modelling and exploring statistical significance of our findings.
• Prepare reports for college partners, funders, and the Board, which set out our data, findings and impact,
• Confidently write about insights and findings from our data, generating learnings and recommendations for the organisation and other stakeholders.

Internal and External Evaluations

• Support the Chief Impact Officer in developing assessment frameworks to robustly measure our impact and designing dissemination plans, to best harness and communicate that impact.
• Oversee and implement internal evaluation activity, for example, finalising student surveys, focus group and interview tools.
• Review and enhance data collection tools, process, analysis, and reporting.
• Undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis of our evaluation data; and use the data to make recommendations to improve programme quality.
• Review and keep abreast of literature and research in the further education, wider education, tuition and research landscape. You will share and apply learnings to our evaluation processes and programme delivery.

• Support our ongoing compliance with GDPR across the organisation, ensuring that our data is robust, accurate and proportionate to the needs of the organisation.

The Hospice is one of over 100 Hospices working with Hospice UK to promote legacy funding at a national and local level with a combined campaign. Investment for the future means The Hospice has a centrally managed people and systems team, this includes management of our CRM (Donify), enabling the Executive Team report on KPIs with internally triangulated data for better decision-making. The Hospice is also working with Finegreen to recruit an interim Head of Philanthropy to review the approach to philanthropy to date and make clear recommendations. A third party will deliver market research to update intelligence on current and potential markets for supporters. With innovation at its core, The Hospice has embedded ‘everyone’s a fundraiser’ into the organisational culture. As our Director of Fundraising, you will be an innovative strategic leader, a people person who combines humanity with data driven decision-making. Your role includes leading an experienced team to deliver over £2.5m in income annually and steward £1m in legacies, with the opportunity to make your own appointments to lead philanthropy. As part of the strategy of the Hospice your business case development will deliver an additional ≥£1m by 2028, in a trajectory for growth. An adept storyteller with a passion for Hospice care – you will lead strategic partnerships, working cross sector and operating effectively at Board/Committee. You will be accountable for identifying, testing and implementing fundraising approaches not typically used to date in the sector, including new philanthropy, donor advised funds and social investment models with a pipeline for delivery of new income. An accessible, visible and credible ambassador you will build networks to garner support across the community. Role and Responsibilities

Housing and Service Delivery

• Provide strong and effective support to residents in Acorn House that focuses on their strengths and goals, and is delivered in a personalised way and within a framework of active engagement and co-production

• Developing and reviewing support plans that reflect the interests and aspirations of residents

• Induct new residents in line with the service’s policies and procedures and support them to continue in their journey towards recovery from addiction

• Carry out assessments of those referred to Acorn House, and induct new residents

• Ensure the fundamental needs of residents are met including good quality accommodation and facilities, healthy food, advice and guidance around benefits, and alcohol and drug testing (to help maintain an abstinent environment)

• Deal with the immediate support needs of residents as appropriate, providing crisis intervention where necessary

• Support residents in addressing physical and mental health issues, including liaison with primary and secondary health teams

• Ensure residents are supported through court or welfare rulings (if necessary)

• Ensure effective and compliant administration of resident data using a bespoke Salesforce- based platform (In-Form)

• Ensure Housing Benefit and Services Charges are collected and managed effectively 

• Be flexible and responsive to the changing needs of the service, ensuring high quality support is provided

• Ensure each resident’s support plan is written, monitored and reviewed as appropriate to reflect their changing needs and development

• To provide an on-call/out-of-hours service when required

• Carry out other duties as may reasonably be required 

Special Conditions

• This post requires the holder to work varying shifts between 08.00 am and 8.00 pm and participation in the call rota system (for which an additional allowance is paid)

• The post-holder is required to work weekends as part of a rota and Bank Holidays when required

• On occasions you may be requested to change your rota to ensure the requirements of the service are covered

Head of Youth Work

Are you driven, hardworking, and organised, with the ability to engage both young people and staff/volunteers?

No two days are the same so you will need to be able to wear different hats; this involves leading the creation of the new Youth Work offer and managing both the recruitment and development of the delivery team. About the Role

The Head of Youth Work is a dynamic and challenging senior management role that will lead a team of Youth Workers and oversee the universal youth work offer. We are looking for someone with creativity, ambition for young people, a can-do attitude, and a hands-on approach, all of which must be done to the highest standard.

You will hold overall responsibility for developing and delivering a vibrant, open-access Youth Zone for Grimsby and North-East Lincolnshire, serving up to 250 young people per session.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage the delivery team, ensure an effective staff rota is in place and address any challenges such as holidays cover planning, absence, and performance.
• Ensure an inclusive, engaging, and up-to-date youth work programme is delivered
• seven days a week
• Ensure young people’s ideas are integral to planning all activities, and they have a voice
• within the senior leadership team
• Ensure the Youth Zone is well-attended and meets key performance indicators
• Champion young people within the organisation

About You

You will have/have experience of:

• Proven track record leading open-access youth services creating a safe environment to deliver engaging programmes for diverse youth demographics (ages 8-19, up to 25 with additional needs/disabilities)
• Experienced in safeguarding, ideally as a designated Safeguarding Lead
• Demonstrates strong communication skills
• Experience managing clear behaviour standards and managing conflict between young people
• Proven leadership experience
• Proven track record in project management of youth programmes
