As Health Intelligence Analyst you will be working as part of our highly respected health intelligence team, playing a key part in ensuring we use data and insights to understand and advocate for the needs and experiences of people living with arthritis and MSK conditions.
The postholder will undertake data analysis, data visualisation, and produce reports to develop and administer systems and processes that aid effective data intelligence gathering. They will also deliver projects and support a forward plan for arthritis and musculoskeletal health intelligence; contribute and work effectively within a dynamic team; and support, nurture and grow relationships with external and internal partners to further Versus Arthritis’ data leadership role in the musculoskeletal (MSK) sector.
About the role
- Lead on establishing and maintaining a ‘single source of the truth’ on arthritis and musculoskeletal statistics and data within the charity and beyond. This includes our annual State of MSK Health statistics report and other statistics publications.
- Support on the development and delivery of a pipeline of insightful MSK and health data analysis and quantitative research, to better understand the UK population with arthritis and MSK conditions and to inform the direction of Versus Arthritis’ ambitions, strategy, policy and services work.
- Work with others, particularly colleagues in UK Advocacy and Health Intelligence, to influence improved quality, extent and use of musculoskeletal health data by statutory bodies across the four UK nations, including Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID), National Health Service (NHS), Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), nationally and locally to improve musculoskeletal health nationally.
- Manage and maintain our health intelligence website, intranet and Sharepoint pages and data enquiries inbox, ensuring they are up to date, reflect the latest developments of the health intelligence function in the charity and that queries are answered on time.
About you
If your knowledge, skills and experience include the following then we’d love to hear from you:
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of epidemiological research methods including experience of using multiple sets of health-related data and information systems, and large-scale data sets for policy, quality improvement or research purposes.
- Ability to interpret, present and communicate complex data in accessible lay terms, including producing data-rich reports for a range of technical and generalist audiences.
- Ability to analyse complex issues where material is conflicting and drawn from multiple sources.
- Strong experience of using NHS and other national health-based datasets, and a good understanding of UK health and social care systems.
- Experience using data to produce infographics or data visualisation.

Working in partnership with Cancer Research UK, and building on the success of the More Research, Less Cancer campaign, the Crick is now developing a dedicated Crick philanthropy campaign to take things to the next level. We're hiring a Campaign and Operations Lead to drive this forward-leading the campaign strategy, planning, and operations for the growing Crick philanthropy programme.
You'll head up a small operational and campaign team and work cross-functionally with Crick and CRUK colleagues to shape and deliver the campaign from quiet phase to pre-launch, launch and beyond, which will have long-term impact. What will I be doing?
Lead the development and implementation of the Crick specific philanthropy campaign, working with the Associate Director to develop the overarching campaign strategy, scope, and goals.
Partner with senior leadership as well as scientists, philanthropy and operational colleagues to develop and implement strategies for the campaign; guide discussions with senior leadership on campaign strategy and develop a multi-year campaign plan.
Inspire and engage the multiple stakeholders of the Campaign, ensuring that everyone involved is engaged, has a clear understanding of what is expected of them, particularly working in partnership with colleagues in philanthropy, communications, scientific leadership and CRUK.
Develop an inspiring campaign identity and case for support, and donor centric propositions and gift opportunities, aligned with institutional priorities, supported by insight from a feasibility study.
Oversee the operations of the Crick philanthropy programme and campaign, working with CRUK colleagues to monitor effectiveness and implement improvements as needed. About the role
Our People and Culture team are hiring a Payroll and Pensions Administrator to join the team to support with ensuring our staff are paid efficiently, accurately, and on time. You will play a pivotal part of the team to support with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for all, coordinating effective and efficient end-to-end payroll and pensions administration, plus any additional relevant activities. You will utilise the tools and resources available to ensure we meet the needs of all our stakeholders and comply with legal matters. The role will further include:
- Taking ownership of administrative tasks in the payroll and pensions process, being the point of contact for enquiries in this area.
- Supporting the administrative process of payroll and pensions, including with the database/system, ensure that any problems are identified with the relevant departments for effective resolution.
- Ensure Full Payment Submissions (FPS) within tight deadlines and process for all adaptations are carried out in a timely manner.

As the Challenge Events Assistant, you will act as the first point of contact for challenge event supporters, responding to enquiries within agreed timeframes and ensuring an excellent stewardship through various means of communication outlets to motivate, recognise and reward supports to encourage their long-term support.
You will be responsible for coordinating fundraising resources, preparing fundraising materials ahead of race day events and ensuring that post-campaign data is utilised efficiently in order to thank supporters appropriately. Additionally, you will oversee administrative processes for the team including data entry, monitoring new supporters and updating projects plans.
To be successful in the role, you will have experience of building positive relationships and customer service expertise, as well as an understanding of using databases and Office 365. Additionally, we are looking for someone with excellent communication, organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise your workload.

This role leads on the development and delivery of community organising initiatives and supports the wider integration of these methods across King’s. Through community organising, the role empowers school leaders, young people and parents to design, launch and sustain impactful campaigns. The post holder will work closely with Citizens UK organisers and colleagues across King’s to build strong partnerships and drive meaningful change, including engagement in broader, high profile local, regional and national initiatives.

About the role:
This is a home based role that will include travel across England and Wales when delivering training. You will be working within a specific project that delivers learning externally to other organisations outside of VS. Your primary goal will be to design and deliver high quality learning interventions based on what our customers need.
As an External Trainer you will:

About the job
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Campaigns and Community Organiser to join Arts SU's Democracy and Influencing team. This role is pivotal in driving community organising initiatives and supporting the strategic development of student campaigns across UAL. You will support and empower student campaign groups by delivering training, developing resources, and fostering engagement with student voice initiatives. You will play an essential role in creating an inclusive and supportive environment where student leaders and campaigners can thrive and lead impactful change while also contributing to wider Union objectives and events.
Who we are looking for
We're after someone who's passionate about community organising and student campaigning - someone who loves bringing people together and making things happen. If you have experience working in community development, campaigning, or a related third-sector or educational role, that's a big plus. You'll need to be confident with communicating with diverse groups of students and staff both, face-to-face and in writing. We value those who are flexible, organised and able to juggle multiple projects at once. You'll have a strong knowledge of campaign tactics, influencing strategies and ability to measure impact. We want someone who's positive, loves solving problems and is ready to roll with whatever comes their way. It's really important you are a team player who is happy to collaborate and understand the importance of what equality and diversity means for our students to help create welcoming spaces for everyone.
