We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to support our DIY fundraisers and ensure they receive a bespoke, engaging stewardship journey. This role is key to providing outstanding service to our supporters, helping them stay motivated and connected to the charity throughout their fundraising efforts. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing supporter engagement, contributing to the charity’s fundraising targets, and ensuring smooth coordination across the mass participation events portfolio.
The Charity team is responsible for raising millions of pounds each year to ensure Christie patients receive gold standard care and treatment. This includes everything from access to world first clinical trials and receiving radiotherapy in state-of-the-art treatment centres to young adults being cared for in a bespoke age-appropriate centre and being able to offer patients anxiety reducing complementary therapy, or even creative sessions in our art room.
We are happy to be supporting our client, a leading London university, in their search for a temporary Senior Programme Officer.
This role will be starting mid to late June, and running for approximately 5 - 11 weeks. You will be required on site 2 days per week, Thursday is the team anchor day and ideally Monday, however there is some flexibility on this. The remainder of the week will be remote.
This role has a quality assurance and international partnerships focus. Some key projects include:
- QA approvals and paperwork for new or renewed international partnerships
- Collating notes from Joint Management Committee into annual report of partnership activity.
- Mapping key meetings (ie, partnership renewal meetings; committee dates; dual degree campus visits; dual degree transfer programme timeline)
- Review and update of undergraduate programme handbooks with a focus on consistency across programmes and ease of use from a student POV
- Work closely with the Senior Programmes Manager and Programmes Manager to develop a 'roadmap' for School international partnership programmes. Attend regular meetings, leaving with actions to develop shared working documents including process documents that will be shared across multiple teams.
- Website for international partnerships. Working with Law communications team to develop a webpage highlighting our international partnerships.
