Immigration Caseworker/Solicitor

Salary: SCP scale 35, £44,711 pro rata

Hours of work: 21 Hours per week

Accountable to: Operational Manager

The post-holder will provide advice and casework in the category of immigration, nationality and asylum law. This project will focus on casework for domestic violence victims referred by Local Authorities and other partners across London. They will also work closely with partner agencies providing consultancy and taking referrals of individuals and families needing immigration advice. The post holder must also undertake training and provide second tier support for community agencies.

IKWRO - Women’s Rights Organisation is a registered charity (number 1151507) which supports Middle Eastern women and girls living in the UK who are facing “honour” based violence, forced marriage, domestic violence or female genital mutilation.

As well as providing support to individual women and girls, we run training for professionals and campaigns for better laws and policies to protect women’s rights. Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

• Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
• Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
• Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts & Statutory partners.

Write applications and reports

The DRIVE Service Manager will be responsible for mobilising the expansion project across London, working closely with all Boroughs and te Drive Central Team.

About the Department/Role

The Racial Justice Unit reflects the Church's renewed commitment to justice as part of the wider theological imperatives to see Christ in the other, to be united in Him and to love our neighbours. The primary role of the RJU is to lead on the coordination of racial justice initiatives which involves the implementation of(FLTA), supporting key stakeholders including the senior leadership, dioceses, NCIs, TEIs, and other related institutions, coordinating and supporting the governance mechanisms, and managing the related Triennium Fund.  

This is a six-month interim role to provide operational leadership to support the delivery of the Unit's priorities which could be a suitable secondment opportunity.

What you'll be doing

The Racial Justice Unit is seeking a skilled Grants Manager, to lead the delivery of its funding programme. This role is central to managing grant operations, assessing applications, supporting grantees, and evaluating impact.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage grant pipeline, awards, and live caseloads
• Lead financial tracking and reporting
• Support impact evaluation and learning
• Line manage the RJU Grants Assistant
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and PMO teams
• Assist with transition to new grant management system

This is an amazing opportunity to join our sector leading Third Party & Organise Your Own (OYO) team in a key managerial position. As Events Fundraising Manager, you’ll guide and inspire a talented and motivated team to deliver some of the UK’s most exciting fundraising events, contributing towards an ambitious £12M income target for 2025/26.

From strategic planning to on-the-day delivery, you’ll lead and project manage some of our highest value third party event programmes, including London Marathon and the Great Run Series. Speakers Trust is the UK's leading public speaking charity, which delivers training and events to ensure all young people develop the skills and confidence to speak and be heard.

The Role
This role is focused on managing and growing our work with other third sector organisations. It focuses on two areas: (i) developing our social enterprise which delivers over 150 paid workshops each year and (ii) delivering youth voice initiatives with other charity partners which amplify young voices.
