We are seeking 6 Community Support Workers to join our growing Newbridge day service in Stockport, which supports adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs. The Senior Community Support Worker will also work flexibly across two other services based at Newbridge – an evening Youth Club and a Saturday Club for children with complex health needs.

The purpose of the role is to provide high-quality, person-centred support that meets the individuals’ needs with physical, health, emotional and social needs.  You will assist in the development and maintenance of their support plans as required, along with developing positive and engaging interactions.

Safeguarding vulnerable adults is a priority for all employees within the Trust.

 

We are recruiting for six positions as the Newbridge Day Service is going through a period of expansion.

 

32.5 hours per week  worked flexibly over five days. Weekend working will be required.

Starting Salary £21,406.67 per year (£12.67ph) with biennial increments. 

Weekends paid at 25% premium on the hourly rate (£15.83ph)

 

Location – Newbridge Centre, Cromer Street, off Newbridge Lane, Stockport SK1.

Working as Coordinator, Exhibitions & Live Programmes you will support the Exhibitions team in the research, administration and delivery of exhibitions, commissions and live programmes. A highly organised individual with an eye for accuracy, you will ensure appropriate and ongoing communication across departments to realise projects successfully, within budget and to the highest standard. 

The role provides the opportunity to build on your existing skills and experience in the research, planning and delivery of contemporary art exhibitions and events. This job is an integral role in the team, aimed at an early-career arts professional with roughly 2 years of experience.

Person Specification
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for contemporary art and a willingness to gain a broad range of curatorial skills and experiences. They will have strong administration skills, with demonstrable experience, a proactive mindset and the ability to be flexible. They will have a keen attention to detail and an ability to prioritise and deliver multiple strands of work to deadlines. Good planning and communication skills are essential in this busy, demanding and exciting environment. They will be comfortable working as part of a team, and sharing responsibilities and tasks where necessary.

To be successful as Specialist Housing Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:

You will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on survivors and their children, and of best practice within the domestic abuse and housing sectors. You will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. The post holder will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to support Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.

Sense has a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Fundraising team as our Statutory Fundraising Manager. This is a 6 month fixed term, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, based between home and our offices in Kings Cross, London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading statutory fundraising at Sense. This includes both new business work and managing relationships with existing supporters. You will be working closely with the Head of High Value Partnerships, the CEO, and senior operational colleagues, the post holder will create a strategy in this area and collaborate with operational teams to develop new programme models and processes to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a fundraising strategy to maximise income from statutory and lottery bodies such as NHS England, the Arts Council and National Lottery Community Fund. Statutory funding has been identified as a growth area at Sense Work with senior stakeholders, including the CEO, Directors of Operations and Finance teams, to develop and deliver compelling funding bids for statutory and public sector funders
• Manage relationships with statutory and public sector funders, including taking responsibility for narrative and financial reporting, and coordinating all stakeholder contact
• Specific responsibility for managing and reporting against statutory income and expenditure budgets
• Financial and programme reporting and database management
• Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act, the Chartered Institute of Fundraising’s Code of Practice, and any other regulatory frameworks that may be introduced

Key skills and experience

• A track record of securing income from a range of statutory sources, including six figure grants (essential) - success at the seven figure+ grant level (desirable)
• Experience of working with teams to develop proposals in line with organizational priorities, including developing robust project monitoring and evaluation plans.
• Experience of leading relationships with external funders, in particular government departments and lottery bodies
• Experience of compiling narrative and financial reports for statutory funders
• Experience of setting and managing budgets in line with organizational priorities.
• Understanding of tendering and contracting processes

We’re seeking a dedicated Quality and Performance Manager to join our team at Lister House, our care home in Ripon. In this key role, you’ll take the lead on audits, data analysis, quality initiatives, and policy implementation to ensure we continue to deliver the highest standard of care. Working alongside the Senior Care Management team and the Quality and Care Standards team, you’ll help drive continuous improvement, share best practices, and support quality enhancements across other RBL care homes.

This role offers 37.5 hours per week 8:30am to 5:00pm with a salary between £45,793 to £49,506 per annum.

Key responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver a programme of audits, ensuring action plans are implemented and monitored. Communicate findings to a range of stakeholders, including Registered Managers, the Senior Care Management Team, and Department Leads.
- Identify trends, lessons learnt and support the development of robust quality strategies.
- Work closely with clinical colleagues to implement best practice guidance and evaluate its impact. Lead and support quality improvement projects within the care home.
- Support audits at other RBL care homes, collaborating with other Quality and Performance Managers to align standards and share learning.
- Lead on HR processes and manage the Practice Development Facilitator
- Liaise with external quality teams and regulators to implement local initiatives.

What we’re looking for:

- Level 4 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Experience in audits, quality assurance, and service improvement
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ongoing CPD in care quality or person-centred practice
- You may also have Level 5 Diploma or equivalent, RGN (Adults) qualification and/or training in audit or quality improvement.

Campaign Planning & Data Selections Officer

Contract type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. Full Time, 35 hours per week

Location: London, UK subject to the right to work.

UK Hybrid Working: A minimum of 40% of working time is spent face to face, either in London office, or as a result of external engagement or travel for WaterAid. WaterAid is located at Canary Wharf, London and this will be your location and contract base.

About the Team

The WaterAid Data Selections team works with stakeholders across the entire Fundraising directorate. This is a great role to quickly learn how charities use data for their fundraising communications.

About the Role

As our data savvy Data Selections Officer, you will update and write SQL scripts to enable WaterAid UKs fundraising mass communications, and champion our supporter’s experience ensuring supporters receive communications that are relevant to them. 

In this role you will collaborate with stakeholders across Fundraising, interpreting their data requests into SQL scripts, and work closely with the Data Engineering team to update our data warehouse as the organisations data requirements evolve. 

You’ll also: 

• Review current SQL scripts and optimise them
• Work with teams on setting up, and updating our supporter journeys
• Advise stakeholders on using data effectively, creating variable outputs or segmentation for testing
• Work closely with the Analytics team, implementing their findings and collaborating on propensity models
• Champion data quality, and work with relevant teams to constantly improve the data in the data warehouse.

Requirements

The successful applicant will have a keen eye for detail and be able to interpret natural language data requests into complex SQL queries.

To be successful, you’ll need: 

• Experience of writing SQL syntax, including the creation of views, stored procedures and processes.
• Good knowledge of data protection legislation and its application.
• Working style that reflects WaterAid’s values of Respect, Accountability, Courage, Collaboration, Integrity and Innovation.

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

• Experience working in a Fundraising or charity environment.
• Demonstrable understanding of a data warehouse.
• Previous experience using a CRM system

About the charity

Living in the North West, we're 25% more likely to be diagnosed with cancer than elsewhere in the UK and many cancers are much more common across the region. Community fundraising is an important vehicle to challenge this - by raising money and awareness.

This role will cover North Manchester up to Lancashire - you'll be homebased with travel across the patch to meet supporters.

What will I be fundraising for?

Recent fundable projects include a groundbreaking annual Regional Report on cancer and the innovative Lab-Coat Learning education programme for the region's schools.

You'll act as the face of the charity out in the community, spreading the word about how fundraising can drive positive change. You'll develop relationships with volunteer fundraisers, community groups and local businesses, encouraging and motivating them to fundraise.

You'll deliver interactive presentations, activities and outreach sessions at schools and volunteer groups, offering support, advice and guidance on how people can supercharge their fundraising.
