About the role
We’re looking for a social media and community manager to join our digital engagement team.
This is an exciting time to join the charity as it launches its new five-year strategy this autumn to supercharge our efforts to transform the lives of anyone affected by breast cancer.
You’ll lead our organic social media channels, planning content, providing channel expertise and delivering our social media strategy. You’ll continue to grow our peer-to-peer support forum, working together with our volunteer community champion moderators to ensure it remains a safe and supportive space for those affected by breast cancer.
Working collaboratively with leads across our other communications teams, you’ll be a key part of aligning our owned, earned, shared and paid channels to drive consistency and effectiveness of our key messaging, all while building highly engaged communities to support our activity across fundraising, campaigning and service delivery.

You’ll be passionate about social media, closely following the latest platform trends and updates, and experienced at planning engaging content and supporting communities online.
You’ll understand the importance of consistency with a keen eye for detail. You’ll be a collaborative leader, working cross-organisationally to creatively communicate our key messages, tell stories, and support teams to get the most from our channels and audiences.

Overall purpose
Reporting to the Director of People, the HR Manager will take responsibility for the operational delivery of Breaking Barriers’ key People and HR activities and initiatives. You will have a strong knowledge of all aspects HR and provide proactive, practical support on day-to-day operations as well as leading strategic HR projects. A keen understanding of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) in the workplace and employee wellbeing is an advantage.
This role is essential to ensure we continue to be an effective, inclusive and people-led organisation. Your role will be vital in making sure Breaking Barriers is and continues to be a great place to work for its staff.
You will deliver day to day HR support to team members and managers, work across the organisation to advise on HR policies and good practice, deliver recruitment processes, and deliver and track Learning & Development. You will support on wider strategic initiatives, working with the Director of People to embed new strategies and projects informed by employee feedback.

The Advice & Wellbeing Team at KCLSU are looking for an Advice Manager (Outreach & Data) to join us in running our vital Advice service for student's at KCL.
As the Advice Manager (Outreach & Data), it is your role to ensure an effective and efficient Advice service that meets the needs of students and supports the development of the colleagues in Advice. You will do this by developing partnerships across both King’s and KCLSU to ensure more students and staff have a strong understanding of the service. You will also lead on process changes to streamline data collection and impact reporting to ensure our service is constantly improving.

Space Setup and Launch

Context and Background
The NSPCC's mission is to end cruelty to children. In order to carry out its charitable work, the NSPCC relies on the fundraising support of people across the UK for 85% of its annual income. Within Fundraising, our aim is to provide maximum resources for the NSPCC and children by working together to create the best possible donor experience by building long-term relationships to create a supporter experience which is different, better and more rewarding than that of supporting any other charity.
The Special Events team focuses on fundraising events as a key part of audience-led fundraising. Job purpose

The Role: Operations Manager

Healthwatch City of London are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced communications and engagement officer to ensure that the patient and service users voice is at the heart of Health and Social Care decision making. The successful candidate will drive engagement with the local community, creating visibility of our work to residents and partners. You will also be responsible for the management of our volunteer team and the exciting projects they undertake.
This part time role (4 days a week) is within a busy small team representing the residents, workers and students of the City of London. Healthwatch City of London are the independent champion for people who use health and social care services. We’re here to make sure that those running services, put people at the heart of care. Our sole purpose is to understand the needs, experiences and concerns of people who use health and social care services, and to speak out on their behalf. We also work to get services right for the future.
You’ll also be representing our organisation at network meetings across all the various Health and Social Care providers, charity partners and patient groups across North East London.
Role purpose
Working closely with the General Manager and Trustees you will develop and deliver the communications and engagement strategy for the organisation, making sure the patients voice is at the heart of everything we do. You will write monthly newsletters, daily social media posts, organise and manage engagement and information events and produce statutory publications. You will also deliver the volunteer strategy by recruiting and managing a wide-ranging volunteer team and identifying relevant projects which enhance and deliver on Healthwatch City of London objectives.

Dove House Hospice supports patients with life-limiting illnesses in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. They provide exceptional, specialist palliative care to patients, carers, and their families.

The Role
This role will focus on building lasting, meaningful relationships with trusts and foundations to secure transformational funding for a critical capital project.
Main responsibilities include:
- Researching, prioritising, and managing a pipeline of potential funders
- Crafting bespoke and persuasive proposals, inspiring support for the capital appeal
- Nurturing relationships and providing project updates
- Track and monitor the use of grant funds to ensure compliance with funder agreements.
You will report directly to the Head of Fundraising and work closely with the wider fundraising team, care services and finance team.
The Person
We are looking for someone with experience in trust and grants fundraising – ideally for capital appeal projects, although this is not essential. You should have exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to produce persuasive and articulate proposals and reports.
You will also require excellent research and analytical skills, be extremely organised, and demonstrate outstanding time management and meticulous attention to detail. A proactive and target-driven approach to fundraising is essential.

Role Highlights

As well as the Energise Me team, you could be working with professionals in the Health Sector, Local Authority, Education, Charity, Housing and Planning across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Central to it all is working alongside people in the community too.

We offer great flexibility as an organisation. We’re in the office two days a week, and make sure we’re all in on a Tuesday so we can meet as a team. The rest of the week you can work from our office, remotely in our priority places or home – it’s up to you.
We work in communities across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, travel across the five priority places will be expected as part of the role.
The role is part of our Place team. You’ll be supported by the Head of Place and the rest of the Energise Me team to grow and develop your own skills and knowledge.
We’re part of a network of 42 Active Partnerships across England, supported by Sport England and connected to their system partners. These also provide opportunities for networking, learning and development.

Want to work with multiple award-winning charity, FoodCycle? As Regional Manager you will represent, manage and co-ordinate your allocated regional Projects. Our Projects are spaces where volunteers are empowered to run community meals using surplus food.
You will manage local relationships with venues, community partners, supermarkets and volunteer recruitment channels to enable this to happen. As an excellent communicator, you will manage the volunteers at each Project ensuring they are trained, supported and on-message with FoodCycle strategy, ensuring that volunteers are confident enough to self-organise and make a success of their Projects.
You will have experience of programme planning, delivery and development including community led/owned programmes. You will also have experience of building relationships with a range of stakeholders and be passionate about food and cooking.
There will be frequent travel to our projects in Yorkshire and The Humber, with some evening and weekend work needed to cover our projects. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this rewarding role.
