Ignite Life has been helping young people in need since 2019. Our mission is to provide frontline services to disadvantaged and marginalised young people and families across the Southwest for them to overcome adversity and reach their potential. About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and process-driven individual to contribute to the efficient and accurate handling of income and supporter data. The successful candidate will support the smooth running of income processing, reconciliation, and Gift Aid preparation within a busy fundraising environment. Working closely with Finance and Fundraising colleagues, you'll be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the charity's CRM (ideally Dynamics 365), ensuring data is correctly coded, imported, and reconciled, and supporting documentation and reporting for audit-readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

* Import and process income from all channels (cheques, cash, online platforms, bank transfers, legacies, corporate donations).
* Apply codes accurately to each transaction record, including fund, campaign, appeal, designation, project, restriction, and method codes
* Conduct daily and weekly CRM to bank reconciliations as per the E2E process and related procedures.
* Prepare and support month end income reconciliation for journals into Xledger.
* Log and track data discrepancies (e.g., missing codes, unmatched records, duplicates), escalating where required.
* Support Gift Aid readiness by validating declarations and ensuring eligibility on transactions is coded correctly.
* Coordinate closely with Finance to ensure journal outputs are accurate
* Contribute to data cleansing and reporting to improve CRM data quality

You will bring:

* Proven ability to process high volumes of income transactions accurately and efficiently.
* Strong attention to detail, with confidence in spotting and resolving data discrepancies.
* Good understanding of financial controls and the importance of segregation of duties.
* Ability to balance BAU income processing with adoption of new processes and improvement tasks.

We are recruiting to the role of Head of Finance, following the retirement of a long-standing member of staff. The role will be part of the Leadership Team at CPAS and report to the Director of Operations and Finance. You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have experience of managing a small team across the various finance functions. As part of an organisational wide programme to renew our digital systems, we are planning to start the process of selecting and implementing a new finance system in 2026 and the successful applicant will work with our IT and digital team to deliver the project. 

This is an exciting time at CPAS, as we move forward with our new strategy, covering 2025-2030. As our Regional Technical Adviser – Climate Resilient WASH, you will ensure the high technical quality of our climate resilient WASH programmes in the region and work closely with Country Programmes, partners and stakeholders to drive sustainable change.

In this role, you will:

• Provide technical guidance, quality assurance and support to country programmes including for climate resilient WASH programming, system strengthening and the sustainability of WASH services.
• Implement capacity building initiatives to enhance competencies of staff, partners and stakeholders to deliver sustainable and climate resilient WASH programming.
• Build and strengthen strategic partnerships, the knowledge base and thought leadership in WASH and climate resilient programming through networking, knowledge sharing and advocacy.
• Support country programmes to integrate and prioritise WASH Climate Resilient measures in key national policies, strategies, and planning frameworks such as NAPs and NDCs.
• Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• Extensive, relevant professional experience at a senior level in climate resilient, WASH-related programmes and policy advocacy for LMIC countries in rural, urban and climate affected contexts.
• Demonstrated experience in strengthening WASH systems and understanding of the WASH sector’s interaction with other systems such as climate change, health, urban planning.
• Excellent and up to date knowledge of technologies, approaches, technical standards and guidelines related to climate resilient and sustainable WASH relevant to South Asia and how to practically apply these to programming.
• Significant experience of working in a technical capacity at senior level in the South Asia region, preferably in at least one of the countries in which WaterAid operates.
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally, specifically to country programmes in Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan, and internationally (sometimes at short notice).

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• A chartered membership with a recognised professional association in a relevant technical field.
• Proven experience of stakeholder engagement that include government, private sector, and donors with high level of influencing skills.
• Good understanding and experience in National Adaptation Planning (NAP) and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) revision and implementation, climate finance processes, modalities, and sources.

About KLS’ Future Foundations education team 

Future Foundations is an education programme of Katherine Low Settlement. Since 2004, KLS’ Future Foundations education team of 10 part-time staff and over 100 volunteers, have supported young refugees and their families in Battersea and the London Borough of Wandsworth to thrive in their education. Through mentoring, family support, casework and homework clubs, we provide the tailored support each young person and their family (if they have one) needs to overcome the barriers to education they face at home and school.

•Support staff to liaise with families/carers to communicate information regarding our work

•Support our senior case workers with weekly drop-in advice sessions at KLS, including completing forms with families, general admin tasks etc.  

•Support casework team with making and following up on internal and/or external referrals, signposting whenever relevant and according to adequate referral pathways and in response to the young people’s/family's needs – with support and guidance from staff

•Add information to our database – guided by team leads/managers - log all cases; monitor progress and ensure all identified actions are taken

•Support with casework tasks, guided by senior caseworker and manager, from initial contact to resolution, maintaining confidentiality throughout

•Liaise with external agencies and organisations on behalf of clients
