About the role
A member of the Applications and Development team the post holder is responsible for the implementation and development of software applications on behalf of the organisation. The post holder is also responsible for managing the relationships with suppliers involved in delivering applications. The post holder may be part of various project teams and as such may work cross-organisationally on major corporate projects, working closely with project stakeholders and teams.
About you
The post holder needs to be a great technology enthusiast, with significant experience of architecting and developing Microsoft .NET solutions. It is essential that the post holder has the following:
- Relevant degree or Professional qualification in development or systems integration technology (e.g. MCSD).
- Applied knowledge of following development technologies, C#, Asp net MVC, .Net Core 2.0, SQL Server. RESTful API,
- Knowledge of JavaScript ES6 and JS libraries/front end frameworks such as JQuery, Bootstrap and an understanding of CSS
- Extensive experience of application architecture and development together with structured analysis, design and problem solving.
- Experience of SQL Server 2016, advanced T-SQL knowledge, SSIS and principles of good database design.
- Working knowledge of cloud deployment and development tools including VSTS, Git and PowerShell.
- Experience of Azure specific application development
- Working with and managing delivery in resource constrained environments
- Prioritisation of time and resources.
- Working in a variety of environments including not-for-profit.

The Programme Quality Manager leads the process and culture to set and embed quality standards and minimum requirements for programme practice across development, humanitarian and advocacy programming.
