You will be the first point of contact for enquiries from Local Scouting,  Funded Project Managers, Trusts, Foundations and Corporate partners.

Database Management: This includes managing the pipeline, updating records, creating a variety of monthly internal reports, monitoring timelines and investigating any communication queries from funders. You will ensure all due diligence processes are recorded and segment data to maximise Trust, Foundation and Corporate income.

Skills & Abilities

• Works effectively with those within the team, the wider organisation and external stakeholders
• Recognises the benefits of empowering and collaborating with volunteers and young people, and can demonstrate the empathy, ability to give and receive constructive criticism and political acumen to do this well.

Purpose of the role:

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

We are now recruiting the team that will deliver Crisis at Christmas 2025. This unique project mobilises a huge volunteering effort to provide warmth, companionship and vital services in temporary centres across London to people facing homelessness.

We are looking for three new Project Assistants to support the delivery of a range of services our guests need to have a safe and happy Christmas. From healthcare and catering to advice and wellbeing services such as arts and crafts and salon, our services can make a real difference. You will support with the recruitment and management of Crisis at Christmas volunteers and external partners to help deliver services, ensuring teams have all the information and equipment they need. This is a varied role including processing volunteer applications, creating comms materials, managing and communicating schedules, organising training, organising and setting up kit, ensuring our teams of specialists have the equipment and materials they need as well as getting stuck in and helping out directly once our centres open.

About us

Parallel is a small but ambitious charitable initiative doing big things: we currently support over 3,000 students through our maths enrichment activities, around 500 of whom receive dedicated weekly, small-group online tutorials in The Parallel Academy. Our mission is to support students on our programmes to fulfil their mathematical potential, by providing them with the opportunity to develop their reasoning and problem-solving skills beyond the curriculum. 

Our students are motivated and ambitious. Although our maths programme is optional and takes place outside of school hours, students have an average attendance above 95%.

The Role

We are rapidly expanding our service provision over the coming months, and are seeking a full or part-time Project Administrator to join our passionate and energetic team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our programmes and help embed the tools and processes for reaching thousands more students each year.

This is a versatile role with responsibilities ranging from database management to setting up online events and communicating with service users, schools and tutoring staff. Working within a small administration team, you will be proficient at using a range of tools such as spreadsheets, meeting platforms and scheduling software, and will be willing to learn new ways of working. We are looking for someone who can remain focused under pressure, using their initiative to deal proactively with a range of tasks and to prioritise the competing demands of a busy workload. 

Hours

This is a flexible and fully remote role, and you will have significant autonomy in how you structure your working week. 

As part of your contracted hours, you will be required to work some evenings and weekends, but this will not exceed one day a week in total. There will also be periods when there is a higher workload (e.g., during student recruitment periods), so you may be required to offer some flexibility in working longer (and then shorter) hours week to week. Key duties and responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain accurate, up-to-date spreadsheets relating to student rosters and learning data.

• Adopt data hygiene principles so that data is managed smartly, in accordance with our data privacy policy.

Skills 

• Proficient in working with digital tools and software such as Google Sheets, Docs, Forms, Zoom and Trello (and able to learn new tools very quickly).

• Excellent with spreadsheets and data - you know your vlookups from your pivot tables 

• Strong written communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders, with a professional and sensitive approach.

At an exciting and key stage in our journey we have the opportunity for Youth and Community Directors to join our team supporting Oasis’ youth and community work in neighbourhoods in the following regions;

- London and South East (North, Central and South London and Kent - five local Oasis charities)

- North West (Greater Manchester – two local charities, and two regionwide youth violence contracts)

- North East (NE Lincs, Humber, Bradford and Sheffield – four local charities)

With accountability to the Oasis CEO for Youth and Community the role of the regional Youth and Community Director will have three main functions:

1 Strategic management oversight of local Youth and Community teams

2 Regional development, working alongside other functions within the Oasis family

3 Being part of the national Youth and Community leadership team

The Youth and Community Director will have strategic management oversight of local Youth and Community teams in the region, providing accountability and support to the local leaders and charity boards. Thank you for taking an interest in applying for this role at Imperial Health Charity.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Fundraising Manager to join our ambitious fundraising team. 

You’ll be instrumental in developing the charity’s events and community fundraising programme, which includes managing the charity’s bespoke and third-party events portfolio. You will lead on our memory and celebration fundraising, as well as manging your own fundraisers, to ensure we are offering excellent supporter care to existing and future supporters. You will also be responsible for achieving your own targets and objectives, as well as providing ongoing monitoring against agreed milestones and KPIs.

You will ensure compliance with fundraising best practice at all times in accordance with the Fundraising Regulator.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

•Serve as the organisations designated DPO as per UK GDPR requirements.
•Monitor internal compliance with data protection laws and conduct regular audits.
•Advise on data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), especially for projects involving sensitive health data and cross-border data transfers.
•Develop and maintain data protection policies, procedures, and training programs.
•Act as the main point of contact with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and respond to data subject access requests (DSARs).
•Work with field teams and local partners to ensure data protection standards are upheld in challenging operational environments.
•Provide guidance to staff and partners on the lawful basis for data collection, retention schedules, and consent mechanisms.
•Conduct regular training and awareness sessions for all staff, tailoring to job function and location.
•Support incident response and breach reporting processes in line with legal requirements.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

Experience & Certifications/Qualifications:
•Strong understanding of UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and other relevant legislation.
•Hands-on experience responding to Subject Access Requests (SARs), managing data breaches, and liaising with regulators (ICO)
•At least 3 years of experience in a data protection or compliance role, preferably within the charity, NGO, or healthcare sectors.
•Experience handling sensitive personal data, including health and biometric data.
•Ability to interpret complex legal requirements and translate them into practical guidance.
•Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity, especially in cross-cultural and humanitarian contexts.
•Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across teams.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

•Data Protection Officer certification (e.g., CIPP/E, BCS,GDPR Practitioner or equivalent).
•Experience working with or in the Middle East region.
•Familiarity with international humanitarian data ethics, especially when working in conflict zones or with at-risk populations.

What You'll Own

Sex Education Forum was founded in 1987 and became an independent charity in 2021. We convene over 70 Partner organisations, working together to make sure that the relationships and sex education (RSE) young people get is right for them. We influence national policy, are a respected voice in the media and contribute to ground-breaking research on RSE. By working in partnership with young people and training educators who work with some of the most marginalized young people, we know what changes are needed to make RSE the best it can be. We will soon be launching a new three-year strategy and have secured multi-year funding to further embed youth inclusion in our work. The Communications Manager will be a new role, working closely with the CEO and staff team, enabling us to realise the ambitions of our strategy.
